"Huh..."
In front of the holographic screen, Nara and Doron sighed lightly. The two of them completely relaxed at this moment. Previously, they were worried that the great serpent will escape before this famous formation can be completed, causing the hunt to fail again.
But now that the formation is completed, their worries have completely disappeared
“This monster’s life is over."
There was a smile on their faces, but in the next moment, their smiles solidified.
"How could this be?"
Doron and Nara exclaimed loudly at the same time. There was an expression of incomparable shock on their face as they stared at the holographic projection in front of them with dull eyes.
At this moment, on the light brain screen in front of them, the giant serpent that was supposed to be bombarded into slag by the sea of lasers suddenly disappeared. All the laser beams flew past the great serpent’s position, then flew into the gaps between the various battleships and into the universe.
"What's going on?"
In the command ship of the Fifth Heaven fleet, Guthro looked at the current scene with a puzzled expression. This inexplicable scene is beyond his understanding.
The serpent that was trapped in their formation suddenly disappeared. This is unscientific! The countless gravity generators working at the same time should make it impossible for any creature to enter the hyperspace.
What they didn't know was that the moment when the fleet launched an attack, Fang Yun directly used “Space Collapse” on the area around him, directly shattering a big chunk of space around him.
In the past, while experimenting with this skill, he found that he could change the spatial structure of the space around him.
If he uses his space manipulation skills to condense a space sphere around him before using “Space Collapse”, he will not be harmed by the space fragments around but will be rather swept into the deeper layers of the void.
He seemed to have shrunk countless times, turning into a small point.
These lasers were all aimed at his previous gigantic body, hence after shrinking to such a small size, none of them could touch him.
This is a super escape skill he developed by combining two different skills, and one of his aces in the hole.
"What's going on?"
Guthro asked again.
He was really shocked. Everyone else was also shocked. This is the first time they encountered such a bizarre situation.
"Did that serpent slip away again?"
This thought appeared in Guthro’s mind. Although they were very sure before that the gravitational field emitted by their fleet could prevent high-level pollutants from jumping across space, they actually used this formation against very few monsters.
In reality, some creatures with super space mastery can escape. These creatures are usually beyond the understanding of mortals. They can’t be dealt with conventional battleships anymore.
"Master Guthro, the sixth and seventh heaven fleets are asking us whether to continue to maintain the formation?"
An officer suddenly walked to Guthro and said.
Guthro frowned for a moment, then said.
"Well, tell them to dismiss the formation for the moment and to turn off the gravity generators.”
In fact, so many spaceships using the gravity generator at the same time almost solidified this space area due to the extreme gravity, but in the same way, their spaceships are suffering from an extremely heavy load.
It’s due to the formation they have put in place that the gravitational field can be normally displayed, without damaging their spaceships. It’s a delicate balance.
But if that balance and stability are broken, their fleet will likely face a grave incident.
To dismiss this formation, they need to start from the periphery, turning off the gravitational generators layer by layer, paying extra attention to not break the balance.
Its difficulty and danger are the reason why this formation isn’t used often, but usually, once it’s successfully deployed, it means guaranteed victory. Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be the case for the great serpent.
"The giant serpent ran away..."
In the dormitory, Doron shook his head and sighed. The giant serpent had done an unimaginable thing, making him fear it even more. He even started to question whether continuing to attack it is a wise choice.
"I’m afraid that our eighth heaven can never truly intervene in this matter."
There was also a little regret in his heart. At the same time, he felt sad for his friend Drummond. His friend's death might never be avenged.
Taking a breath, Doron refocused his eyes on the light brain screen in front of him. He closely watched as spaceship after spaceship withdrew from the spherical fleet.
Suddenly, an accident happened suddenly.
“Hum!!”
A strange noise suddenly sounded. There was a certain change in the position where the giant serpent disappeared. A strange black hole suddenly appeared.
It’s Fang Yun! He is currently using “Annihilation Black Hole”, forming a black hole in his mouth.
The characteristic of this skill is to increase the gravity of an object by a terrifying degree, increasing its gravity to the level of a small black hole. However, this time, Fang Yun has just shrunk his body using space compression, increasing his mass dramatically. This in turn greatly increased the power of the black hole.
The results were that the nearby spaceships were quickly pulled towards him, and before even getting too close, they were directly torn into small fragments, getting smaller and smaller as they got closer.
In an instant, half of the seventh heaven's fleet was directly destroyed.
What’s even more terrifying is that the previous stable gravitational field was directly broken, causing many spaceships to directly explode due to the sudden increase in gravity.
It was like a chain reaction. The entire fleet was constantly changing. Countless spaceships exploded, turning a giant fireball and leaving behind countless flaming fragments.
It was like the end of the world for these soldiers and pilots.
As this scene started getting more and more tragic, the holographic screen in front of Doron turned black.
Due to the sudden change in the gravitational and electromagnetic field, along with the countless explosion, the equipment of the fifth heaven fleet was greatly affected, making them unable to send any signal at all.
In the fifth heaven command ship, various warnings and alarms sounded; The personnel screamed in shock and fear. Even Guthro was dumbfounded.
He didn't even expect that in just one second, the scene suddenly changed so drastically.
More than half of their fleet was instantly destroyed. Nearly 300,000 spaceships exploded in this instant, almost whipping out the entire army.
The remaining spaceships were also damaged to some degree.
The reason why the command ship wasn’t much affected is that it was quite far away and more importantly, it wasn’t integrated into the spider formation, hence it escaped this catastrophe, but the aftermath of the explosion of countless spaceships still affected them.
