“Hello everyone, I'm Linna."
Linna stood in front of the camera, introducing herself with a solemn expression.
"Now we have grouped with the vanguard fleet that was sent to hunt the great serpent and the other high-level pollutants"
"Under our research, the remaining soldiers in the vanguard fleet have no major psychological problem. They aren’t infected. The giant serpent that attacked the remnant fleet had completely disappeared. No major trace had been discovered in the past few days..."
.....
Linna stood in front of the camera and talked, informing the audience watching this program about her experience on the command ship these days.
"General Guthro told me before that hunts such as this one takes a long time, hence we must be prepared for a prolonged battle.", pausing for a moment she continued.
"This high-level pollutant not only has super-high attack power but also an extremely good escape and stealth ability."
"That's why monsters of this level are so threatening."
“However, under our large war fleet. Even these powerful monsters that caused so many disasters will be suppressed!" At the end of the sentence, Linna's voice suddenly rose.
She had a firm expression on her face, believing that these monsters will be brought to justice.
In her cognition, the great serpent has long been labeled as a devil. She completely forgot who was the first to attack. Not to mention that their main purpose isn’t to punish evil and enact justice, but to capture the great serpent and extract precious resources from it.
The purpose of this battle isn’t a moral one, but a commercial and political one. Unfortunately, the majority of the public doesn’t know about this, including the innocent reporter Linna.
The people that are actually suffering are the people of the eighth heaven, and this is due to the constant battles the higher heavens launched in their hometown, but what does this have with the seventh, sixth, and fifth heaven?
This war is just to fulfill the desires of the upper-class of the three heavens. It’s mainly for the precious materials of high-level pollutants.
"Huh... they still didn't find that monster."
In the dormitory, Doron stretched his waist. The only thing he had been paying attention to these days is Linna and the United Radio.
The giant serpent had scarred him psychologically, making him afraid to even approach it again, but he still hopes that that monster gets killed.
It’s too dangerous.
No matter where high-level pollutants appear, their existence is a disaster to the inhabitants of that place.
"Why did so many high-level pollutants appear in our eighth heaven in such a short period? In the past, high-level pollutants appeared every few centuries or so..."
Doron sighed deeply.
In fact, not to mention high-level pollutants, even low-level pollutants are rare in their eighth heaven.
The eighth heaven is generally the land of Pathogens.
Pollutants mainly appear in the seventh heaven, and even there, high-level pollutants are extremely rare. The sixth heaven has a slightly higher number of these creatures, and they so rare anymore in the fifth heaven.
Furthermore, the fifth heaven often launches a hunt against high-level pollutants.
"Doron, did you watch miss Linna’s broadcast? Did they find anything?“
The bedroom door was pushed open, then Nara walked in holding two cups of juice, one of which he handed to Doron
"It seems that there is still no gain."
“I see… Since the last time the great serpent appeared, it never appeared again. It might have left the eighth heaven..."
Nara said, shaking his head.
"I hope so. "
Doron nodded again and said.
“Anyway, Nara, Did you know? The Academy’s Student team that wanted to hunt the great serpent is about to reach the eighth heaven!. "
"So soon?"
Nara's eyes lit up, exclaiming with a look of excitement.
"I wonder if there is my idol, Master Hanazawa Xuan among them? He is a purple-level student of the Sakura Academy."
“It’s said that he once hunted a level 3 pollutant alone. That time, his life mech was severely damaged, and he suffered heavy injuries that landed him in a hospital for many years"
“After his injuries were healed, his strength has become even stronger. It’s said that the compatibility between him and his life mecha has reached an even higher level!"
Nara said with a look of excitement, just like a star-chasing fan.
Doron asked with wide eyes.
"Hanazawa Xuan? Hua Linglong's younger brother?"
"Yes."
Nara nodded, "Although master Hua Linglong is more powerful, my idol is master Hanazawa Xuan, after all, Hua Linglong has officially graduated from the Sakura Academy."
"I seem to have heard someone say on the Internet that there is Hanazawa Xuan amongst the team coming to the eighth heaven this time, I don't know if it’s true or not...."
“Yeah, I also heard someone say that, but..." Nara wanted to say that Hanazawa Xuan is unlikely to come. After all, it’s well-known that he has a cold personality and that he doesn’t like to team up with others.
However, their calm pupils suddenly shrank. The scene on the light brain…has changed!
At this moment, the picture displayed on the screen was the third-person view of the allied fleet. The fleet was originally extremely calm. All the spaceships were quietly moving across space.
However, circular ripples suddenly appeared in a certain corner of the screen, from which a huge black shadow jumped out.
"There! It’s that monster!!"
Nara exclaimed loudly. Doron also noticed this scene.
The two of them stared at the screen in front of him with wide eyes, not even daring to blink. At the same time, their hearts started rapidly beating, as if it was going to jump out of their chest.
Both of them were extremely nervous at this moment. Almost as if they were the ones on board of that fleet.
“The leaders of the allied fleet should have also found the appearance of the great serpent."
Nara said hesitantly.
In fact, what he said is not wrong. Before even Nadu and Doron discovered the appearance of the giant serpent, the instruments in the advanced battleships detected abnormal space fluctuations.
"Ah!!!"
Linna yelled loudly. Everyone stared at the screen in front of her with surprised expressions. The giant serpent appeared next to their fleet.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!!"
Guthro immediately notified everyone, then started giving orders. He coordinated the entire fleet to quickly respond to any attack and, at the same time, execute their prebuilt plans to deal with the great serpent.
"Miss Linna, don't panic."
Guthro looked at Linna, who was pale in fright and comforted her with a smile.
"There are many advanced battleships around us, it can’t cause any damage to our spaceship, and! Since it appeared so brazenly this time, It can’t even dream about escaping!”
Guthro's eyes became abnormally cold.
