-----------------------
During this period of time, many eyes focused on the eighth heaven. A lot of great powers were paying attention to them, including powers from the fifth heaven and up.
No way, this incident is a bit big.
However, the more advanced heavens just paid attention, nothing more. After all, it’s just a commotion caused by a level 4 pollutant. Pollutants of this level aren’t particularly rare in their heaven and they are being hunted quite frequently.
Of course, the sixth and fifth heaven also didn’t care at first, but after such a huge loss, they had to seriously get involved. Even if it’s to calm the anger of the pilots’ relatives. They have enough reasons to deal with the serpent and golden pollutants.
What's more, even for the powers of the fifth heaven, level 4 pollutants are very attractive. There might be creatures of this level in their home field, but they rarely launch a decisive battle to hunt them as this will cause great damage to the environment.
Creatures of such level usually have great vitality and many life-saving methods. It often takes many battles across a lot of battlefields before the hunting can be completed
For example, in the last battle against the golden behemoth. The reason why the scope of the battlefield didn’t expand or why the golden behemoth didn’t escape is due to Fang Yun’s obstruction.
In an ordinary situation, the fight against such creatures can spread over hundreds to thousands of light-years, affecting countless planets and small civilizations.
Therefore, without enough understanding of the targeted creature, and without enough certainty, the higher-ups of the fifth heaven aren’t willing to fight against such creatures in their home field.
This caused the number of captured or hunted level 4 pollutants and above to be quite rare.
Fortunately, they don’t have to worry about this issue this time as the battlefield isn’t in their home heaven.
"Unexpectedly, they sent such a huge fleet this time."
Otto stood in the control center of the command ship. He had already received the news that an extremely large fleet was heading towards them.
"These three heavens, it seems that their governments are truly angry this time."
Otto touched his chin and analyzed.
"They sent such a huge fleet... It's okay if they succeed. If most of this fleet is destroyed here. The atmosphere across these three heavens and even the universe will explode!"
He knew very well that once the news of their defeat is passed back, it would definitely cause a huge uproar. At that time, unknown consequences will occur.
Otto was not worried about this. He just thought that if this happens, the three heavens might experience a crisis.
After all, there are still many powerful creatures in their heavens that need to be guarded, but they expanded many of the battleships guarding them to that super fleet.
Once a certain powerful creature does out of control, things will go back in a bad direction.
Worst case scenario, this might cause a chain of accidents, creating turbulence across their entire heaven.
"I’m thinking too much, now I should think about how to keep my life wisely."
Otto doesn’t have the slightest intention to get involved in the hunt against the great serpent. Now what he is thinking about is how to keep himself out of this matter.
There are still more than 10,000 battleships left in his fleet, all relatively intact. Now he is staying with Mike, Nadu, and Pound’s fleet. The three fleets are relatively close, while he is quite far away.
It's not that he wanted this. It’s these three fleets that excluded him.
After the previous battle, the three commanders trusted each other much more due to the life and death experience together. Unfortunately, Otto wasn’t included.
In fact, Otto is happy to see these three fleets excluding him. Anyway, He doesn't want to integrate into their circle, hence he didn’t approach them.
The reason why he did this is that he still retains an illusion in his heart.
That is, his fleet didn’t clash much with the great serpent, hence they didn’t form a grudge against each other. If the great serpent attacks them, it will most likely attack the three heavens joint fleet first, giving him the time to getaway.
"That creature is very wise. It should have noticed something."
The giant serpent hadn’t appeared for a long time. Even after the appearance of the golden behemoth, the giant serpent didn’t join in.
Otto is sure that the giant serpent has noticed the incoming danger, hence it didn’t appear for such a long time.
"I hope it never shows up."
Otto didn't want to continue fighting. He felt that it would the best if this incident ends like this. Unfortunately, this is just his expectation, which is unlikely to be fulfilled.
In the quiet space, two separate fleets wandered in tandem. The bigger one in front and the smaller ones in the back. They had no goals. They are just the defeated losers waiting for the reinforcements.
Mike, Nadu, and Pound were talking.
What they need to do now is not to fight against the giant serpent, but to live until the reinforcements arrive.
"Hoof..."
Through the holographic projection, Mike heaved a sigh of relief.
"Our reinforcements have arrived in the Eighth Heaven and are coming here. They will arrive soon."
“We had been very careful these days, but we must be even more careful at the critical moment. "
Nadu said with a dignified expression on his face.
"Nadu, haven't you been in contact with the incoming fleet? When will they arrive?"
Pound, who rarely speaks, asked. To which Nadu replied.
“According to their calculation, They should arrive in two days. Not only is our large army coming over, but Sakura Academy is also sending its own fleet."
"Sakura Academy?"
Pound raised his brows.
"Are those students also coming to participate in this matter?"
"What kind of fleet are they sending?"
Nadu shook his head.
"It's not clear for the time being."
"No one in the official army knows who Sakura Academy is sending this time."
"Will Sakura Academy dispatch any advanced combat power this time?"
"I guess so."
Nadu said uncertainly.
Hearing that, Pound was silent, he did not speak anymore, obviously thinking about this matter
After so many battles and losses, they felt disgusted at the fact that Sakura Academy intervened this time to reap the benefits. The higher management also doesn’t want Sakura Academy to intervene.
Sakura Academy is an extremely powerful independent institution, even the government can’t mess with them lightly. if they intervene, it will definitely be more than just a piece of the pie. Maybe they will bite a big piece of meat
