Chapter 57: The Counterattack of the Dragon Clan
🕑 Added 2021-03-30 20:36:57 +0000 UTC"Quiet! Listen to me, everyone! I have found the Benthic Devil Fish, they are under the island! We must go into the water in order to defeat them!" Kama said loudly to the rest of the dragons.
"Dive to the sea?" The adult and old dragons were a bit silent.
Although as legendary true dragons, their strength is unparalleled.
However, the sea is the home ground of the sea monsters!
The combat power of all true dragons will be greatly reduced underwater, and without the ability to breathe underwater, their movements will become sluggish!
The only question is how much of their strength can they use underwater?
Especially since the number of sea monsters is uncountable!
Worst of all, if they encounter these legendary sea monsters in the depth of the ocean, even they will be in danger.
However...
"Then let’s go to the sea! We’ll directly defeat them!" most true dragons are fearless.
"Yes! They must be captured alive this time! These disgusting bastards dare to provoke the dragon clan relying on their immortality! I want them to know how serious the consequences of their actions are!"
The group of true dragons started clamoring to teach the benthic devil fish a heavy lesson, scaring them to the extent of not daring to attack Dragon Island again.
Kama nodded then grouped the dragons into groups. For the sake of safety. He put every four dragons in a group, each group is responsible for hunting a Benthic Devil Fish.
Before diving into the sea, Kama gave the dragons a layer of buffing spells, temporarily increasing their strength and defense. Only then did the dragons dive into the sea.
In the end, only Kama and Shillong were left.
Kama said to Shillong.
"Child! Let's go to the sea too! Follow me,"
Shillong nodded upon hearing this.
The moment the two dragons dived into the sea, Shillong transformed back into his real body, his current size was already slightly bigger than Kama.
At this time, there are sea monsters everywhere in the sea. It was as if their number is limitless. These sea monsters seem to be crazy. Usually, upon sensing the aura of a true dragon, they will immediately turn around and escape, but this time, they crazily headed towards Shillong and Kama.
”Bang! Bang! Bang!”
A group of small creatures madly smashed into Shillong’s body, knocking themselves out.
Some even smashed their head because they were too fast. It was like a group of crazy creatures madly slammed their head into an alloy wall.
The seawater was quickly dyed red!
Kama casted another spell.
"Advanced Magic: Great terror!"
This is a very high-level deterrent spell.
A circle of invisible ripples spreads from Kama's body. In the next moment, all living creatures in the range of several hundreds of meters around Kama fainted, their eyes turning white.
"Follow me!" Kama's words directly appeared in Shillong's mind.
He quickly swam to the right.
The ripples continuously spread from his body. As long as those marine creatures approached Kama, they would tremble as if struck by lightning. Some floated directly out of the sea, and some fell straight down.
The two dragons happily swam forward. They dived to the depth of 1 to 2 kilometers in a very short period of time, and finally, monsters with a size of ten meters or more appeared. A few of them weren’t even affected by the deterrence spell.
They roared in the sea, dozens of them swarmed up, without fear of death, ignoring the racial gap. They swam straight towards the two giant dragons like moths flying towards the fire.
Kama watched these suicidal sea monsters with cold eyes, swimming towards them without flinching.
The size difference between the two sides is huge, not to mention the racial gap, hence Kama could easily kill any sea monster. However, their number is too great.
Some of them managed to swim to the back of Kama and bite him with their steel teeth. However, none of them could leave as much as a scratch on him.
Shillong also encountered the siege of twenty or thirty giant sea monsters, however, these powerful sea monsters with steel-like skin and torpedo-like speed died with just a single blow from him.
Shillong's power is far greater than Kama.
He quickly slaughtered the monsters around him, then helped Kama clear the rest.
In the end, the big sea monsters didn’t dare to hinder them anymore, but there was a large fish school swimming around them, hindering their sight.
The two dragons have been searching in the sea for a long time, but they have not found the benthic magic fish.
After a long time, Kama said to Shillong.
"These benthic devil fish are very cunning. They should have known that they can’t defeat us alone, hence they hid. These giant fish schools swimming around us should be the indicators of our location! "
"What should I do?" Shillong asked.
"We can only wait for the other dragons to solve the benthic devil fish in their area first! Two dragons in one group are not enough. Only four adult dragons working together should be able to prevent the benethic devil fish from escaping" Kama said.
"This..." Shillong felt a bit irritated after hearing this.
’Damn it! I feel like I’m being played by these low-level creatures!’
’There is no way to deal with them?’
’This is impossible! There is nothing that I Shillong Soderberg can't solve it!’
’It would be great if it was on land! I could just use my nuclear breath to clear large areas of land! At that time, I could love to see where they could escape!’
He wandered around irritably for a while, then suddenly turned his head and said to Kama,
"Teacher, wait a moment here, I will immediately catch those benthic magic fish!"
After speaking, he didn’t wait for Kama to speak and immediately used repulsion amongst his new abilities.
The layers of seawater around him were pushed away by the repulsive force. The moment the surrounding environment became water-clear. He immediately spread his wings, after which a golden-red flame emerged.
”Boom!!!”
Shillong, like the king of the sea, started rampaging.
Using the repulsive force and his jet-like wings, he swam across the sea at an unprecedented speed, reaching the speed of sound!
In this state, as long as an ordinary small sea monster is touched by his repulsive force, it will be directly smashed into meat and blood!
Large tracts of small sea monsters were smsashed to death, dyeing the entire sea area around Dragon Island red.
.....................
At the same time.
Two or three kilometers to the left of Shillong, three strange-looking fishes with a body length of three or four meters gathered together.
These strange fish looked a bit like radishes. Their mouth is always wide opened, revealing their extremely large jagged teeth.
There are many tentacles under their cheeks. They also have three eyeballs on their forehead and five or six long tails behind them.
"Goo wow wow wow~ (a dragon is approaching us again! Two kilometers away at ten o'clock!)"
A benthic devil fish was talking to the other two in an unknown language, one specific to their race.
After speaking, the benthic magic fish moved to the right, and the other two followed closely behind. They avoided the incoming dragon in advance.
"This group of damn lizards! We will let them know who is the true overlord of the sea! The ignorance of the gods will be destroyed by us!" said another benthic devil fish.
The benthic devil fish race have eternal memories. Even if they die, their memories will be passed to the next generation.
Their inheritance is even more comprehensive than that of the Dragon Clan.
So comprehensive that even after tens of thousands of years, even hundreds of thousands of years, their memory will not fade!
In the distant past, their hatred of the gods that destroyed the benthic devil fish empire is still vivid!
This is why they never gave up and insisted on attacking their believers.
"Stupid lizards! They will never find us in the sea! Soon their homes will be destroyed by us! Then they will taste the same taste we once felt!” The words of a benthic magic fish revealed delight.
They moved calmly to the right, not afraid of being spotted by the dragons in the sea.
But suddenly, the leading devil fish stiffened.
"No! That lizard isn’t in the ten o'clock direction! He is coming from other directions!"
"Wrong! It's five o'clock! Eight o'clock! No no! It's ten o'clock indeed! Still wrong, at eight o'clock! This is bad! He is getting closer and closer to us!"
At the end, the benthic devil fish was a little flustered. Its tentacle-like tail danced wildly.
