----------------------
In the dark space, a spaceship was quickly moving forward. There was no organization’s mark on this ship. Obviously, it’s a private spaceship.
The spaceship is relatively small, about 1 kilometer long. From the outside, it can be seen that the cabin of this ship is very small, and most of its space is filled with various devices.
In the cabin of this ship, there was a small group of people, talking and laughing. There is a total of 32 people in this group, sitting around a long table. They looked at the young man at the head of the table, waiting for him to speak.
"Brother Hua, what shall we do now?"
Suddenly, a handsome guy beside the young man suddenly asked.
"The news is confirmed, the giant fleet led by general Guthro was annihilated."
The person who spoke was pale and sickly, but the look in his eyes was very sharp.
The people around the table looked very focused after hearing this, waiting for the decision of the leading young man.
These people are the students from Sakura Academy that banded up to hunt the great serpent, but by now, they have received news that the great fleet of Guthro has clashed with the serpent.
Unfortunately, it was Guthro's army that ended in a big defeat. More than that, the entire fleet was annihilated. This is a result that none of them thought of before.
At the beginning, they were also preparing to compete with Guthro’s fleet to hunt the great serpent. Even if they ended up working togeher in the end, they can still share a large part of the harvest.
However, before the operation could even begin, they received news of the defeat of Guthro’s fleet.
More importantly, people like Guthro and Linna have related equipment to monitor their physical condition.
So the moment they died, everyone quickly got the news.
"I wonder how Guthro and the others died."
A young student suddenly said.
"Guthro’s fleet is extremely powerful, how could they be destroyed so suddenly? With such a large fleet, even if they are defeated, a large part of the fleet should still be able to escape. This is very weird."
"Yes."
Most of them nodded in agreement.
The young man continued to speak.
"A level 4 pollutant, no matter how powerful it is, shouldn’t be able to destroy such a powerful fleet in just a few tens of minutes. I feel that the intelligence we got is wrong. That giant serpent shouldn’t be merely a level 4 pollutant."
"Yes, we should go back and make a long-term plan, there is no need to continue this journey."
Some people want to return to the Academy. They are very worried about their next hunt. If they continue heading recklessly, they are most likely going to be killed.
"Brother Hua, what do you think?"
Suddenly, the pale youth asked the young man sitting at the head of the table.
The young man sitting at the head of the table glanced at his juniors below. Just as he was about to say his thoughts, loud alarms suddenly rang out in their battleship.
"Brother Hua, there are unidentified living entities approaching us."
A sturdy guy walked out from the control center and reported to the leading young man.
"What happened?"
Around the long table, the young boys and girls looked at each with a surprised expression on their faces. They are puzzled about the current situation.
"Let's go over and take a look."
Hua Zexuan said, then stood up and walked towards the control center.
Hua Zexuan is a purple-rank student from Sakura Academy and the second young master of the fifth heaven’s Hua Family. Despite his young age, he has great ability and is one of the few existences standing at the top of the Academy.
This time he invited his friends and some other outstanding students from the academy to hunt the recently famous pollutant, the greay serpent.
According to their previous plan, they were going straight to the place where the giant serpent last appeared, but after hearing the news of Guthro’s fleet destruction, they were shocked.
They didn’t dare to continue the hunt anymore but started wandering around, talking about their next action.
Hua Zexuan and the others walked to the control center, then looked at the holographic screen in the center of the room.
On the screen, there was a scene of darkness and starlight, nothing unusual.
However, on a part of the screen, there was a map of the surrounding area, on which was a flickering red dot.
The red dot represents the approaching living body. The reason why its image is not displayed yet is that the living body is still quite far away.
Their instruments can detect the life and electromagnetic fluctuations released by any living body from far away, but it’s hard to detect the type and image of said creature.
Hua Zexuan wasn’t in a hurry. He stared at the picture in front of him unblinkingly.
For some reason, he felt a bit nervous.
He suddenly remembered that in the information they received, it’s said that there are three pollutants in the eighth heaven. Apart from the two big and small great serpents, there’s another golden behemoth.
Since there are so many powerful pollutants in the eighth heaven, they won’t be so unlucky to encounter one of them in this place?
It wasn’t that he is thinking too much. Although the incoming creature is still far away, they were still able to detect its life fluctuations. This is proof of its tremendous vitality and to a certain extent, its power.
"Brother Hua, something is wrong."
In this striking silence, the pale youth who had been sitting next to Hua Zexuan suddenly said. This pale youth is the best friend and brother of Hua Zexuan.
He also comes from a big family, the Wu family.
His name is Wu Qi, and although his Wu family is weaker than the Hua family, it’s still a big family.
"Wu Qi, it seems that we are in trouble."
Hua Zexuan stared at the big red dot in the projection. Now he can be sure that the incoming creature is an extremely powerful pollutant.
"Everyone! Prepare for battle!"
Hua Zexuan yelled.
"Open the hatch immediately and prepare to attack."
The hatch at the bottom of the spacecraft trembled, then slowly opened, Hua Zexuan glanced at the red dot in the projection, then decisively walked out of the control center.
He is going to the hatch, to prepare for the next battle.
As he walked forward, a stream of metallic liquid suddenly surged out of his body like water.
