-------------------------
Thinking of this, the feeling of anger in Otto's heart gradually disappeared, and his attention was completely attracted by the incoming battle.
The two sides were getting closer and closer.
The investigation team was already very close to the great serpent
"It's the time!"
Otto thought internally. He is very experienced, hence he was able to judge the best time to attack. As expected, at that time, Colonel Cade immediately ordered the fleet to attack.
But at this moment, the situation suddenly changed.
On the command ship of the vanguard force in the distance, commander Otto had wide eyes, filled with shock, as he watched the situation far away.
"This... what's going on?"
He had a pale expression. As if he had seen something unimaginable. Not only him, but other people in this area, especially those that are farther away, watched the great serpent with an expression of shock.
"That's..."
Doron stared at the holographic projection in front of him in a daze. A few moments ago, the fleet got closer and closer to the great serpent. Just when they were about to launch an attack, the great serpent was the one that took the initiative to attack.
Its attack method is extremely strange, powerful, and shocking. It’s an ability that the great serpent has never used before.
At this moment, Inexplicably, all the objects around the giant serpent were distorted and broken into particles in an instant, flying towards the great serpent at an unimaginable speed.
These particles turned into a dazzling beam of light and energy, looking extremely beautiful and gorgeous.
In just a moment, the investigation team approaching the giant serpent and the spaceships of the vanguard fleet that weren’t far away, all turned into such light particles at this moment. Just like a shooting star, they shined in the universe for two to three seconds before being absorbed into Fang Yun’s body.
The remaining spacecraft and the people on them stared at this scene blankly. After the dazzling light disappeared, all that remained was the great serpent.
The giant serpent seemed to be a black hole, attracting their sight, making them unable to look away.
They looked at the giant serpent dully, like puppets without a soul, so much that their spacecraft remained frozen in space.
In fact, there were very few spaceships left, only two hundred. All of these spaceships survived because they were far away from Fang Yun.
"Gulp."
Otto swallowed a mouthful of saliva in the command ship of the vanguard force, breathing became difficult, because he found that the giant serpent suddenly turned around and focused on them.
The distance between each other is very far, but the sight of the giant serpent seemed to have penetrated the entire void, landing straight on them.
In just a moment, his legs softened, almost falling to the ground.
From that distant space, Fang Yun glanced at the command ship where Otto was. He did not rush over to attack it but started to clean up the battleships that escaped from disaster. After doing so, he roared loudly
“Roar!!”
He was declaring his victory.
In the command ship, Otto’s body shook again after hearing Fang Yun’s howl, but then discovered that another giant beast appeared from the distant darkness and flew towards the great serpent.
It’s a big turtle.
The size difference between the two is a bit big, about a third of the great serpent. They knew before that this giant serpent had a companion. When they fighting against it previously, they didn’t know where this giant turtle was hiding and didn’t pay attention to it.
The previous roar should be the great serpent summoning its companion, the great turtle.
"Haaa……"
Otto heaved a long sigh. He felt his body on the verge of collapsing. He wiped the sweat from his forehead with his hand, but his eyes never left the holographic projection in front of him.
He watched as the great serpent gently patted the head of the giant serpent, then headed forward quietly.
The giant turtle worriedly inspected the giant serpent’s injuries, then howled cheerfully. All of the wounds Fang Yun previously sustained had disappeared, not leaving as much as a scar. The giant turtle flew cheerfully around Fang Yun and copied him, gently patting his head.
Seeing this warm scene, ripples appeared in the heart of Otto
"Perhaps our approach is wrong?"
The scene of the two behemoths playing in space appeared in his mind. Now that he thinks about it, they have never understood these behemoths nor have they explore their attitude in detail.
They just feel that these creatures are too powerful and threatening to intelligent civilizations like them, hence they must be eliminated. Not to mention that these giant creatures’ bodies have many treasures to explore.
Hence, their attitude towards these creatures mainly consists of two emotions, fear, and greed.
However, after seeing this warm scene, Otto suddenly felt that this idea was a bit arbitrary.
The two giant beasts playing around in space, no matter who of them died, the other will be very sad.
Upon thinking of this, Otto couldn't help but smile wryly. He knew that his stupid saint-like and kind character was at play again.
These two behemoths, especially the great serpent have caused a great massacre. Furthermore, now that they have been listed on the hunting list, their end is to be chased by the entire eighth heaven and even all of Sakura Academy.
“However, these two behemoths, are they really that easy to kill?"
Otto couldn't help but lower his head. The previous scene when the investigation team and a large part of the vanguard team were crushed into light particles then swallowed by the great serpent appeared in his mind. That kind of scene is absolutely unforgettable for him.
He is certain that even if the entire eighth heaven spared no efforts to kill these two creatures, and with the assistance of Sakura Academy, they might be able to eliminate them, but the price they will pay is unimaginably huge.
"Haah..."
Otto didn't know what to say. In the end, he sighed heavily, then gave instructions to the remaining battleships in the vanguard fleet.
"Everyone! Listens to my order and return to the central planet!"
The vanguard fleet interception plan has failed. Not only that, the investigation team and the forces from other heavens were also annihilated.
It can be said that the result of this battle is the complete defeat of the eighth heaven and Sakura Academy.
Just after this day, the news about the defeat of the Eighth Heaven's vanguard fleet and the collapse of Colonel Cade's investigation team immediately spread among the heavens.
The interest of intelligent civilizations in the great serpent had increased by several levels.
