------------------------
After Doron pumped himself up internally, he hurriedly drove his spacecraft toward the giant serpent surrounded by the vanguard team. At the moment, over 3000 spaceships are surrounding Fang Yun. Their momentum this time is much higher than before.
However, in terms of firepower, these people are completely incomparable to the investigation team led by Captain Cade.
“Roar!!”
The giant serpent in the middle of the fleet suddenly raised its head and roared. Its hegemonic momentum and intense aura frightened the approaching vanguard team.
Doron, who was sitting in the control center of his own spacecraft, swallowed a mouthful of saliva upon seeing this sight. He felt fear building up in his hearts he looked at the great serpent.
His heart madly thumped, as if it was going to jump out of his chest.
"Damn, this monster is really scary."
Doron cursed hatefully. At this time, the speed of this battleship that was going forward at max speed slightly slowed down. Different from his usual courageous self, he decided to just follow behind the team this time.
Amongst the vanguard team, many people started firing, sending countless laser beams towards the great serpent.
Colonel Cade frowned as he watched this scene from a distance. The distance between the vanguard team and the great serpent is too far, almost 5 million kilometers. This gave the great serpent a lot of space to dodge. Not to mention that the strength of laser beams decreases as the distance increases.
“Roar!!”
Facing the attack of laser beams surging like a tide, Fang Yunroared loudly, then immediately flashed away, dodging to the side. With his speed and agility, he dodged all of the incoming laser beams.
While constantly dodging, he quickly flew towards the vanguard team, crossing millions of kilometers in just a few seconds. After reaching a certain distance, he used “Life Plunder”.
Under the might of this skill, many pilots amongst the thousands of battleships quickly lost their vitality.
"Commander Otto, many of our soldiers are dying."
In the distance, inside the control center of the command ship of the vanguard fleet, a soldier reported to Commander Otto.
Commander Otto’s brows suddenly furrowed. Such large casualties are beyond his expectations. Despite his determination and conviction, he felt some pain in his heart.
"Captain Cade, please seize this opportunity."
Commander Otto immediately called Captain Cade, The great serpent is currently focusing on massacring the vanguard fleet, freeing the war fleet forces that were entangled with him. If they attack the great serpent at this moment, they might get an unexpected result.
The giant serpent has completely entered the vanguard fleet now. Its actions were extremely brutal, destroying all battleships in its way.
Whether it was antimatter bombs or laser beams, they were fired indiscriminately and unceasingly. Under his continuous mad attack, all many battleships were destroyed along with the people inside of them.
On the other side, Colonel Cade immediately replied after hearing Commander Otto’s words.
"Commander Otto, we will start the action right away."
He understood the underlying meaning behind commander Otto’s words. On one hand, he wanted them to seize this opportunity. On the other hand, he wanted them to take action as soon as possible to minimize the casualties as much as possible.
“Foolish’s benevolence."
Colonel Cade shook his head. In fact, it’s not yet the best time to attack. Otto naturally understood this, but to reach that point, almost all of the vanguard force needs to be sacrificed.
The vanguard fleet was formed temporarily and logically speaking, it should not have much to do with Otto. Hence when Otto showed his stance, Cade felt that it was foolish kindness. Those people won’t be grateful to him anyway, they will just hate him for sacrificing them and their companions.
He didn't pay attention to Otto's words but waited. After two minutes had passed, under Otto's repeated urging, he gave the investigation team the order to attack.
Currently, less than 1500 spaceships remain of Otto’s vanguard fleet. If they waited for a few more minutes, then it might have been fully annihilated.
There was a sneer of disdain in the corner of Colonel Cade’s mouth. It wasn’t for this fragile Vanguard fleet, but for Commander Otto.
After a while, his gaze fell on the giant serpent again, looking at the great serpent that was still unceasingly massacring these battleships, his gaze became increasingly colder.
"It's time to end this battle."
Colonel Cade muttered.
Suddenly, his investigation team headed towards the great serpent like a sharp blade.
The two teams that were responsible for harassing the great serpent also headed towards it, but this time, this mission is no longer their responsibility.
Now those vanguard fleet will be the biggest harasser of the great serpent.
"Humph!"
In the command ship of the vanguard fleet, Commander Otto showed a hint of anger on his face. He was dissatisfied with Colonel Cade.
"This damn guy actually took so long before acting."
After a bitter curse, Otto's chest undulated fiercely. He carefully looked at the holographic projection in front of him. On the projection, there was exactly the image of colonel Cade leading the investigation team to head towards the great serpent.
As the investigation team got closer, the distance between them was shortening. He could already see that the spacecraft of the investigation team was about to fire.
From the various weapon devices of their spacecraft, white lights start to light up, indicating that the devices are activated and could launch an attack at any time.
However, they didn’t attack the great serpent this time.
Otto knew about Colonel Cade’s plan, he planned to use their vanguard force to contain the giant serpent so that they could get close enough to launch a rain of attack.
Inside the continuous array of attacks, the great serpent will be continuously attacked without giving it the chance to escape.
At that time, even if this giant serpent has a super recovery ability, it won’t be of much help in front of such an uninterrupted array of attacks.
This kind of precise and powerful attack can only be done by the investigation team led by Captain Cade.
Because only when their firepower is strong enough can they cause heavy and continuous damage to the great serpent in a short period of time.
If the vanguard fleet dares to do this kind of thing, they will only be destroyed. Their firepower is far from able to seriously injure Fang Yun or even restrict him. It will take him only 2 to 3 seconds to get out of the central area of the bombardment, then counterattack.
At this time, the investigation team of Colonel Cade will soon collide with the great serpent. Whether his plan can be executed perfectly or not remains to be seen.
