"What's the matter?"
Seeing the noisy crowd in front of them, the group of students was puzzled. Looking at each other, they quickly walked to the noisy crowd.
After inquiring about the source of the commotion, all of them were shocked
"Lao Cai...is dead?"
One person looked at the faces of his companions with a look of disbelief, only to find that the others had similar faces.
"I heard that they have reached the eighth heaven, and near the site of the incident. The result is that in just ten minutes, they died. Do you think that this is the doing of that star serpent?"
A thin-faced youth said to his companions.
"They might have encountered the star serpent, but judging from the data given by Eighth Heaven’s branch, it shouldn't be. That star serpent only had an ability index of more than 1000."
Someone frowned and said.
"Let’s wait for the academy’s final announcement on this matter. It seems that things are not simple now."
Several people nodded one after another, then continued discussing this matter seriously.
Previously, they didn’t care about the star serpent’s matter at all. Killing an outstanding student of the eighth heaven branch of the academy is an insignificant thing to them.
But now, Lao Cai, a student who is at the same level as them. Even more powerful, died along with his companions, and the cause of death was probably because of the star serpent.
This incident had completely attracted their attention.
"What, many students from the seventh branch of the academy died in our eighth heaven?"
On the campus of the eighth heaven branch of sakura academy, Doron was shocked after hearing about this incident, then frowned again.
"They should have come here to hunt the star serpent. Could it be that they were counter killed by that star serpent?"
The distance of the incident isn’t far from the place where his friend Drummon has died. Of course, this is only relative to those star behemoths. The actual distance is actually quite far
"If this is the case, then that serpent is truly not simple. That monster won’t be a pollutant, right?"
Doron muttered indistinctly. He was very shocked by this incident. He couldn’t believe that his friend took the initiative to attack such a creature.
At first, he thought it was just a powerful star beast or maybe a pathogen, but judging from the current situation, it’s most likely a powerful pollutant.
He didn't know much about pollutants. He only knew that they are a very powerful existence, more powerful than star beasts and pathogens. In their eighth heaven, such a creature hadn’t appeared in decades.
The death of Lao Cai and his team caused some commotion in the entire Sakura Academy, especially in the eighth and seventh heaven’s branches.
Because the star serpent is in the eighth heaven, and Lao Cai and his team were all from the seventh heaven branch.
The two academy branches started to exchange information. First, they needed to determine the cause of Lao Cai and his companions’ death.
The two branches, in the next few days, dispatched many investigating teams at the place of the incident. They quickly found the spacecraft that remained after Fang Yun used “Life Plunder”.
Only the pilots died, the spacecraft itself didn’t suffer much impact.
Colonel Cade is a major colonel of the Seventh Heaven Star Alliance and an outstanding pilot from the Seventh Heaven branch of Sakura Academy. The Star Alliance is an organization composed of several powerful empires in the seventh heaven.
This organization has a council, as well as an army, and various personnel, not to mention its various rights.
In general, the seventh heaven is mostly under the control of the star alliance.
Colonel Cade is a middle-aged man with a square face and strong eyes. This investigation team was led by him. At the same time, several teachers from the two academy branches acted as his deputies.
The investigation team tracked the ownerless spacecraft in this area and captured it.
"Let's go."
Colonel Cade said to the instructors next to him, then walked inside the spacecraft. After crossing a long corridor, they finally reached the control center and saw the pilot.
"That's..."
Colonel Cade's pupils suddenly shrank. It wasn’t just him. The mood of everyone that saw this scene changed.
In front of them, a figure was lying on the control station. He looked extremely old. In fact, his whole skin was tightly attached to his bones.
His hair is gray and his eyes were sunken. He looked like an old man who had lived for countless years before dying here.
"He is Cai Wei."
A middle-aged teacher wearing glasses stepped forward and said to Colonel Cade. There was a hint of hesitation in his eyes.
He is the instructor from the Seventh Heaven branch of Sakura Academy. The reason why he said that this person is Cai Wei is naturally that he is wearing the academy’s standard student suit, with Cai Wen’s nameplate.
However, this old corpse is completely different from the young and vibrant Cai Wen, hence his hesitation.
Cade nodded, then began to walk forward. He carefully checked Cai Wei's appearance, then ordered the other people to take photos of Cai Wen and the surroundings.
After taking a few photos, he said to the soldiers behind.
"Take him down and dissect his body to see if you can find any useful information."
After saying this, someone carefully carried Cai Wen’s body and walked away. Cade continued wandering across the control room, investigating the surrounding situation.
They checked the weapons and energy devices of the spacecraft, noticing varying degrees of damage on many parts of the spaceship. The energy core is also significantly drained.
In addition, they learned from the system's mission log that the spacecraft had indeed experienced a big battle, and the mission log also contained recordings of the conversation between Cai Wei and his companions.
After listening to the records, the investigation team was sure that not only did they experience a fierce battle but that against the star serpent.
"Everyone, it seems that things are clear."
Cade looked around at everyone and said.
"This incident was indeed caused by the star serpent."
After saying this, he turned his head and looked towards The instructors of the eighth heaven branch of sakura academy.
"Everyone, it seems that there is a pollutant in the eighth heaven."
