Under Otto's questioning, the soldier quickly told the location where the great serpent’s traces were detected. The moment he finished speaking, Finsen and Nadu immediately gave this order.
"Okay, we’ll immediately go to that star system!"
The moment their voice sounded, Otto immediately saw that two of the three fleets accompanying them turned around and started flying in the direction specified by the soldier.
A few moments later, the fleet of the fifth heaven followed them and also started turning.
Compared with the first two fleets, the number of battleships in that fleet is much lower, hence the action of turning was quickly completed, instantly catching up with the leading two fleets.
After seeing this scene, Otto followed the three fleets without a second word. Even if these guys never took him seriously, he can’t complain.
As time passed, the distance between the five fleets was constantly getting closer. Because they are going in the same direction.
………..
About three days have passed. In these three days, they all increased their fleet’s speed to the extreme, intending to reach that area as soon as possible.
It's just that the specified area is too far away. There is no specific channel at all, hence, they can only make one space jump after the other relying on the rough star maps of the areas in between.
After three days, they were halfway there.
"I wonder if the giant serpent is still in the same location?"
Otto stood in the control center of the command ship, deeply thinking with his hands behind his back.
He hoped that the great serpent wouldn’t be far from the designated location, but this must be his delusion.
Apart from the monitoring device that captured the traces of the great serpent, there wasn’t any other trace of the great serpent. It has completely disappeared.
Obviously, it has left the range of that monitoring device.
Fortunately, the monitoring device has mapped the general direction of the great serpent, so after arriving in that area, they can follow the trail of the great serpent and catch up.
Upon thinking of this, Otto’s heart settled.
Three more days passed. At this time, they had already arrived at the location of the monitor. It’s just that there is no trace of the great serpent.
"As long as we go along this route, we can definitely catch up with the great serpent."
Otto explained the situation to the commanders of the three other fleets.
"The giant serpent wasn’t moving at a rapid pace, it shouldn’t be far ahead from this place."
For fleets like them, even a distance measured in light years is nothing. After a few space jumps, they will definitely catch up.
However, when they were preparing to follow the trail of the great serpent, they received another piece of news. The great serpent has appeared!
However, the place where he appeared isn’t remotely close to their location. In fact, it wasn’t even heading in the track that the monitoring device mapped out.
"What the hell is going on?"
The five fleets were somewhat confused, the great serpent should have left the range of the monitoring device and according to the recorded route, it shouldn’t far ahead.
However, at the moment, the great serpent has appeared in another location. Far away from the recorded route.
Although they were puzzled, they still didn’t hesitate, and immediately headed towards the location where the great serpent appeared.
However, when they reached that location, they were immediately informed by the monitoring headquarters that the giant serpent has appeared in a completely different location. North-west, tens of thousands of light-years away.
"Otto, what the hell are you doing?"
After going around in circles a few times, Finsen and Nadu immediately questioned Otto. Even the commander of the fifth fleet, Pound couldn’t stand it anymore and questioned Otto.
Facing the questioning of the commanders of three powerful fleets, Otto was under incredible pressure.
After all, if they really turn crazy and attack their eighth heaven, their eighth heaven will be in a very hard dilemma.
"Lords..."
Otto smiled bitterly and said.
"Just as you said before, our Eighth Heaven doesn’t want such a creature to appear in our territory. "
"I’m afraid that a single mistake will destroy our entire eighth heaven."
"So, our people are very pleased and grateful for your arrival and help. How dare we play jokes on you?"
"Besides, In the surveillance headquarters, there is also your own staff. Even if we wanted to make things difficult for you, your staff won’t just sit and watch, right?”
After hearing Otto’s words, Finsen, Nadu, and Pound were silent.
"This situation is extremely abnormal."
After hesitating for a moment, Pound from the fifth heaven said.
"I think it’s better for us to act separately. The activity area of that serpent seems to encompass all directions. Once we disperse our fleets, we won’t necessarily need monitors to find it."
"At least, we already know its approximate location."
For Pound’s suggestion, Everyone didn't have much disagreement.
Immediately afterward, the five fleets separated and started driving in the directions they chose.
Before leaving, they all made a promise, as long as they found the traces of the giant serpent, they will immediately inform the other fleets, then gather together to kill the great serpent.
"I always have the feeling that we are being played around with by it."
Otto thought as the fleet headed forward. Of course, he was referring to the giant serpent.
Otto has never underestimated the great serpent nor has he thought of it as a stupid beast. On the contrary, he considers it an extremely intelligent and cunning creature, as wise as any intelligent creature in the universe.
In Otto's view, the reason why this giant serpent is behaving so abnormally isn’t just for fun. It should have a plan, and this plan might just be to separate them.
After that, the giant serpent will destroy one fleet after the other.
"It depends on who has the last laugh."
Although he knew that this was likely the conspiracy of the giant serpent, Otto didn’t have any countermeasures. He can’t convince these arrogant guys, hence he can only use some tricks.
He also feels that their fleet is extremely powerful. In the face of the fleets of these powerful heavens, Otto is confident that the great serpent will never be able to massacre them as he did to the vanguard fleet he once commanded.
As long as one of their fleets encounters the giant serpent and quickly passes back the message. It should be able to hold the great serpent until the other teams arrive.
At that time, the giant serpent is unlikely to hold it under the joint suppression of five fleets.
Unfortunately, despite all of his calculations, Otto didn’t expect that having pig teammates is worse than having god opponents.
Sometimes, one stupid mistake can render all calculations useless.
He never expected that in order to find the traces of the giant serpent as soon as possible, the seventh heaven fleet decided to split into several parts, and in doing so, something bad happened.
