Sorry for not posting in the past 2 days, I was a bit sick.
--------------------------------------
"There are probably thousands of these space fighters."
Fang Yun perceived the space fighters around him. The reason why these space fighters are so troublesome is that their speed is much faster than those he dealt with before.
Therefore, he has to constantly accelerate to reach a speed level higher than theirs before getting rid of their entanglement, but he needs at least sub-light speed to do so, and traveling at sub-light speed in the midst of so many space fighters is a huge burden to his body.
He can’t use laser beams to shoot them. These space fighters are extremely flexible. It’s easy to perceive their existence, but it’s difficult to judge their route, because many times, Their actions are all irregular.
The only way to deal with them is by using an extremely wide area of effect skill...
"Wait for a second, I do have an AOE skill, isn’t “Cell Distorsion” the perfect skill for this."
Fang Yun suddenly remembered this skill. This skill has a relatively large area of effect. As long as they enter the effective range of this skill, the pilots will quickly die.
Furthermore, if the space fighters decide to keep a farther distance, he will have enough area to accelerate without worrying about colliding with them. This is the perfect skill for this situation!
When he thought of this, Fang Yun was finally relieved. He immediately put his ideas into practice. When a certain number of space fighters reached the area 1000 kilometers around him, Fang Yun activated “Cell Distortion”.
At this distance, the space fighters in the range of attack suddenly wanted to make a turn and accelerate, rushing towards Fang Yun, but at this moment, "Cell Distortion" suddenly affected them. The figure of the pilots in the cockpit stopped moving. Immediately afterward, their bodies started aging at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Space fighters’ pilots are soldiers that have undergone extreme training and genetic modification, sharpening their instincts and reactions and elevating their thinking speed and judgment to a whole other level.
However, despite this, a space fighter’s pilot is still a very unpopular job. Not only due to the large mortality rate, but also since the pilots of space fighters’ have a relatively short lifespan after many genetic modifications and extreme training.
So after Fang Yun used "Cell Distortion", the pilots died in just three or four seconds.
Seeing that this method is effective, Fang Yun started rampaging across the battlefield.
There are a lot of space fighters flying around, hence he needs to follow them and keep at least a distance of 1000 kilometers between them. This requires quite some time and patience, but Fang Yun lacks neither.
"Damn it, what's going on?"
In the distant command ship, Roy Berg frowned after seeing the situation on the battlefield.
This scene is even more terrifying than the previous ones. They noticed that whenever the giant serpent approached their space fighter, the vitality of their pilots would disappear at a very fast speed.
In just three or four seconds, or even less, their pilots die.
Although the space fighters have an automatic flight function, without the pilots, they can’t carry any sophisticated operation, greatly losing their flexibility and lowering their threat.
"Hahaha, what are you going to do now?"
Those large-scale planet destroyer battleship can't catch his tracks at all. Even if they do, most of their attacks can be diverted using the “Space Barrier” skill. The only bothersome space fighters hold no threat to him.
The space fighters around Fang Yun were decreasing at a speed visible to the naked eye, causing their threat to become lower and lower. Watching this scene from the distant space, Murray and King Zahan started becoming nervous, and even a bit scared.
This time, even Roy Berg was shocked.
"Things can't go on like this."
Roy Berg muttered. If this continues, then this operation will definitely fail. They might even lose their lives like those pilots if the serpent gets closer.
Without the protection of space fighters, their Planet Destroyer seems will most likely not be enough to hunt this great serpent. The speed and reaction ability of this great serpent is ridiculous. If it keeps a certain distance between them, they are very unlikely to hit it.
What makes them even more speechless is that the great serpent can distort the space around it. This makes it even harder to hit it.
Their Eclipse-class battleships fired dozens of laser beams at the great serpent, but at a distance of a few hundreds of thousands of kilometers, their laser beams needed a few seconds to reach the target, giving the great serpent enough time to dodge.
Coupled with “Space Barrier” even if they calculate the trajectory of the giant serpent in advance, it’s still very hard to hit it.
"What to do?"
Several people in the control center looked at each other with gloomy faces. A heavy atmosphere filled the control center.
"Sends out the last batch of space fighters."
After a moment of silence, Roy Berg gave an order.
"This time, we must coordinate the attack of the planet destroyers with the space fighters. We don’t have room for error!"
The remaining space fighters started to move, but at this moment, Roy Berg and the others suddenly discovered that the giant serpent is heading towards them.
"Damn it, it's coming. Stop it! Stop it!!"
Roy Berg yelled loudly. It would be bad if this giant serpent came near their fleet. Their laser beams won’t be able to freely attack, for fear of accidentally attacking the other battleships, but most importantly, if that great serpent uses the ability he used on the pilots of the space fighters...
However, what's the use of fear? The giant serpent accelerated to light speed, instantly crossing hundreds of thousands of kilometers and coming near their fleet.
These planet destroyers immediately flew closer to each other, intending to keep a formation and protect the battleships in the center. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the time, Fang Yun immediately attacked the battleship in the middle of the fleet.
This is a relatively special planet destroyer battleship, different from the Norton-class battleships Fang Yun had been dealing with before.
"These battleships should be a level higher than that of Norton-class battleships?"
Fang Yun thought internally. This should be the only reason why these people who were acting like turtles not long ago to take the initiative to attack him.
Fang Yun naturally didn’t underestimate it and immediately used “Antimatter Bomb” to attack.
“Boom!!”
His antimatter bomb landed on the energy shield of the battleship ahead. The white light created as a result of the explosion covered the battleship and the area around it.
However, Fang Yun clearly sensed that the energy shield of the battleship did not burst open.
"It actually withstood my antimatter bomb."
Fang Yun was shocked. His Antimatter Bomb is dozens of times stronger than his laser beam, but this battleship’s energy shield withstood it without breaking.
Fang Yun quickly released a series of antimatter bombs towards it. After withstanding the third Antimatter Bomb, the energy shield of the Eclipse-class battleship finally burst open.
However, the second energy shield withstood the remaining power of the antimatter bomb, severely cracking it.
Fang Yun paused and then launched another black giant ball, breaking the second energy shield.
This new type of planet destroyer battleships can withstand 4 of his Antimatter Bombs before breaking.
