"Hiss! it hurts so much."
Fang Yun cringing internally. However, before he could respond, another laser beam headed straight towards him, specifically, towards the semi-healed injury at his tail.
He couldn't dodge and was hit by the laser beam again at the location of his wound, this time directly blowing off half of his lower tail.
“Roar!!”
Fang Yun released a deafening roar, he is very angry this time. He opened his mouth and released an extremely thick energy beam towards the opposite battleship. Even though he didn’t use full firepower, he used almost 80% of it.
This laser beam is incredibly powerful, capable of easily breaking a planet with a diameter of tens of thousands of kilometers with a single strike.
However, the Norton-class planet destroyer on the other side quickly reacted. The moment Fang Yun opened his mouth, it opened its defensive shield.
Fang Yun’s laser beam hit the defensive shield heavily, causing the shield to tremble fiercely, almost shattering, but it still held on in the end. Both commander Noel and commander-in-chief Downey were shocked upon seeing this scene.
"It was actually blocked."
Fang Yun was a little surprised, suddenly the ten Imperial-class battleships behind the Norton-class one sprang from behind and started attacking him.
The firepower of these Imperial-class battleships is very fierce, each laser beam sent by them is enough to destroy a small celestial body, not to mention that they are sending dozens of them towards him each second.
Their cooperation is also seamless, cutting off all of the surrounding space. Even Fang Yun doesn’t think that he can hold on for too long.
His defense is no longer as invincible as before. As his strength continues to grow, the defense of his scales started to fall behind. He needs a new defensive skill.
Fang Yun quickly escaped to the side, but many laser beams still fell on his body, creating huge craters, each with a diameter of a hundred meters.
However, for Fang Yun’s current size, this injury can only be considered a small injury.
Suddenly, Fang Yun used “Ultimate Gravity” on the Norton-class battleship. The gravity of that planet destroyer suddenly increased infinitely, instantly attracting the battleships around it. The nearer battleships were quickly drawn to it, and the farther ones were slowly pulled in.
"Damn it, what the hell is going on?"
Even Downey and his fleet were shocked by this strange scene. The Norton-class planet destroyer they dispatched seemed to have become a huge star. The extreme gravity affected them even if they are far away.
In short, their battleships won’t be able to use their full speed and maneuverability under this huge gravity.
“Roar!!!”
Fang Yun released an earth-shattering howl, then launched another laser beam, this time, he aimed at the Imperial-class battleship near the Norton-class one.
“Boom!!”
The energy shield of this planet destroyer instantly collapsed. The energy shield of this level of battleships is no longer able to stop his laser beam for even a second.
After a huge vibration, the energy shield of that planet destroyer directly exploded. At the same time, the hull was also severely damaged, but before the people inside could stabilize themselves, Fang Yun released another laser beam, completely destroying it.
After just two laser beams, an Imperial-class battleship was immediately destroyed, exploding into countless flaming fragments and spreading around.
These fragments were quickly attracted by the gravity of the Norton-class battleship and heavily collided with it.
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
These fragments impacted the energy shield of the Norton-class planet destroyer. Due to the destructive power of these fragments, the Norton-class planet destroyer did not dare to remove its energy shield at all.
So at this time, this Norton-class planet destroyer couldn’t attack. It became a useless thing. In order to break the current situation, the Norton-class battleship dispatched countless space fighters from behind, which headed towards Fang Yun like locust a swarm.
Moving away from the area near the Norton-class battleship, their speed was still as fast as before because the duration of Fang Yun’s gravity skill, that is one minute has already ended.
However, when these space fighters flew out, they were all operating at their maximum speed, afraid that Fang Yun would launch the previous skill again.
Fang Yun didn't pay attention to the space fighters at all, they were as insignificant as ants to him. He rushed towards the Norton-class battleship while launching energy beams on it.
The incoming space fighters naturally couldn’t just watch. They launched a fierce bombardment, trying to intercept Fang Yun and prevent him from getting closer.
Perhaps, the attack of a single space fighter is about the same as an ant’s bite to Fang Yun, but even he can’t ignore tens of thousands of laser bombardments each second, especially now that he is still injured.
He flew at a sub-light speed, navigating through the swarm of space fighters, then launching one laser beam after the other at the Norton-class battleship.
“Boom!”
After resisting a few of his attacks, the energy shield of the Norton-class battleship trembled fiercely, then was finally destroyed.
"Damn it!"
Downey in the distance yelled loudly, then issued a combat command to another Norton-class planet destroyer.
"Tang Ke, go and help Noel to solve that monster.”
He squeezed his hands tightly. A fleet led by Norton-class planet destroyers couldn’t solve that Pathogen, which is ridiculous! what level did that Pathogen reach?
"Could it be a fifth-class Pathogen? But it shouldn’t be possible?"
Downey murmured with a look of shock.
"How can pathogens of this level appear in such a remote place? It’s said that Pathogens need to consume the population of an entire galaxy to reach this level.”
There are many speculations about the origin of pathogens, one of which is that pathogens appeared in this world because of dark pollution.
Once a creature is polluted by dark pollution, it has a chance to mutate into a pathogen. This type of pathogens is called primary pathogens. To reach the fifth-class, such a Pathogen needs to experience a growth process lasting thousands of years.
As for the other Pathogens born due to various circumstances, including the combination of two Pathogens. They are called secondary pathogens. These types of pathogens have lower potential, hence they need much longer to reach the fifth-class.
When Downey was still deep in his thoughts, Fang Yun was already suffering an attack from the second Norton-class battleship.
He immediately counterattacks using a massive number of laser beams. His laser beam skill doesn’t require any time to recharge nor does it have a cooldown, hence he can still suppress the two Norton-class battleships.
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
In an instant, Fang Yun fired three laser beams. The agility and speed of the Norton-class battleship aren’t bad, but in Fang Yun's eyes, it’s quite slow and clumsy, hence all of his laser beams fell on the second Norton-class battleship.
In the end, the energy shield of the second Norton-class battleship was destroyed.
All of this occurred in less than 3 seconds, but this was enough for the swarm of space fighters, Victory-class and Imperial-class battleships to launch an attack on him.
In the end, Fang Yun was drowned in the attacks of those battleships.
