"It’s over."
A soldier beside Angelo sighed. After seeing the endless space fighters swarming over like a swarm of bees, a feeling of despair rose in their hearts.
"Damn it!"
Angelo heavily punched the special metal armrest, denting it slightly. They have been waiting here for a long time, ambushing any Hunter fleet passing by, but they never thought that all of this was a trap and that they have been dancing on the enemy’s palm all along.
With the endless space fighters swarming in, coupled with the planet destroyer battleships surrounding them and cutting off all their escape routes, they can’t even escape.
“Whoosh! Whoosh!”
Those space fighters launched countless laser beams, enveloping Angelo’s fleet. Under the bombardment of these innumerable laser beams, Angelo’s command ship fell into a passive state, relying on its energy shield to defend, unable to make any attack.
"Hoo...."
Angelo sighed internally. He had already accepted his fate. This place is still quite a long distance away from their base camp, hence it’s impossible for reinforcements to arrive in time.
Countless scenes and memories appeared in his mind. These were scenes of various things he experienced in his mind. His most precious and deep memory is undoubtedly when he and his father Thor were hunting sea monsters back on Earth.
"It's a pity. I swore to my father that I will live well and long enough to see humanity dominating the Milky Way, but it seems that this is the end."
People like them who often went out to the sea aren’t afraid of danger, but the thing his father was most concerned about is his safety and life. So at that time, Angelo assured his father that he will pay attention to safety and live well.
However, it seems that his time has come...
"Blow up that command ship!"
The Chax fleet, which was originally suppressed by Angelo and Huang Liang’s fleet has launched an aggressive attack. Preparing to destroy Angelo’s fleet that has destroyed half of their spaceships.
Their reinforcements, after receiving their message, gradually stopped focusing on Angelo’s fleet after half disabling it and turned to Huang Liang fleet.
"Blow that spaceship for me!"
In the control room, Chax looked at the semi-destroyed command ship ahead and ordered with a cold face.
"Yes!"
All of his subordinates replied with a look of excitement. They never thought that there would be reinforcement behind, but they quickly reacted, this should be a planned ambush.
They are the bait, drawing the big fish that is Angelo’s fleet. However, behind that big fleet, there’s a hidden hunter, ready to strike at any moment.
They don't feel any dissatisfaction or resentment now, mostly because the plan succeeded and they survived. Furthermore, all survivors are likely to get some good rewards.
“Hum!!!!”
All the powerful weapons of the Chax Fleet started operating, gathering energy to their most powerful Turbo Laser Cannons. When these Turbo laser cannons accumulate enough energy and attack Angelo’s command ship, then even the Imperial-class command battleship of Angelo will immediately collapse.
On the Chax’s battleship, all the laser cannon barrels were getting brighter and brighter, eventually reaching a point that is as luminous as the sun. This is proof that they are about to attack.
Inside the control center, Angelo gritted his teeth while watching this scene. He stared unwaveringly at the laser cannons ahead. Even if he’s dead he will never blink or cry! This is his last insistence!
"That is……"
However, to his shock and surprise, he saw that two giant shadows suddenly appeared above the enemy’s command ship.
A giant serpent and a giant turtle.
“Roar!!!”
When the two giant monsters appeared, they released an earth-shattering howl, attracting the attention of everyone on the battlefield.
"That is... The Eight Elder, Great Serpent?"
Angelo stared at the giant serpent that appeared with a dazed expression on his face. He was really stunned. It has been more than 30 years since the great serpent has left. They all thought that the great serpent must have left the galaxy.
After all, before leaving, Fang Yun had told Tang Guo that he will eventually leave the Milky Way and head to the central area of the universe.
Angelo never expected, even in his dreams, to meet the Great Serpent in this place.
"Elder Great Serpent hadn’t actually left the galaxy, but its size is much bigger..."
Angelo came back to his senses at once, his face filled with joy. With the Great Serpent here, they will definitely be okay.
"We are saved!"
Angelo yelled excitedly. Hearing his shout, the other people in the control room woke up from their daze, the flames of hope and life reignited in their eyes.
"That is……"
On the other side of the battlefield, after seeing Fang Yun appear, Huang Liang face paled. He also recognized Fang Yun, but different from the joy of Angelo and his fleet, his face was filled with fear.
"That's the serpent-pathogen."
Taking a deep breath, Huang Liang yelled loudly. "Quick, get out of here!!"
This giant serpent-pathogen, in his opinion, is even more terrifying than the Hunter galaxy fleet.
Encountering the Hunter Galaxy fleet is nothing, the worst thing is death, but encountering this Serpent-Pathogen has a whole other meaning. It means getting enslaved and living a life worse than death.
When he thought of this, Huang Liang couldn’t stand it anymore, he quickly ordered his subordinates to drive away and quickly leave this place.
"This……"
While Huang Liang fleet was escaping, on the first Hunter fleet, Chax was also looking at the two monsters that appeared above his spaceship with a look of shock.
But before he had the time to think about something else, the Giant Serpent opened his mouth and casually released a huge laser beam towards them.
“Boom!”
Without hesitation, Chax’s battleship immediately activated their energy shield, and in the next second, the laser beam collided with it.
A huge light explosion covered the surrounding area. The energy shield could barely resist the attack for only 1 second before breaking. The chemical reaction between both of them resulted in a huge explosion, and just the aftermath of such an explosion destroyed the left hull of the battleship.
"So strong!"
Angelo who was watching from far away screamed in such at such a shocking scene.
Breaking the energy shield of an Imperial-class battleship isn’t something that can be easily done. At least, he doesn’t know of any weapon that has this capability.
"Damn it!"
Inside the control center, Chax barely stabilized himself from the trembling battleship as he stared at the scene in front of him with a look of shock.
Unable to stand it, his cold and indifferent face finally broke as he shouted loudly.
"Caruso, hurry, hurry, come, and save me!!"
