-------------------------
The leader of the trapped Hunter galaxy fleet is called Chax. As a soldier, he has served in this fleet for 69 years and has a wealth of experience.
Therefore, when encountering this kind of critical situation, he did not panic, but still gave orders in a calm and composed manner.
"Boss, our formation is about to be broken."
Besides Chax, a soldier reported to him with an anxious look on his face. If the formation is broken, then they will truly die here.
"Try your best to hold them off."
Chax said with an indifferent expression.
"Hold on for a while."
The young soldier didn't understand what Chax's words meant, but he still passed his orders honestly to the other spaceships in the fleet.
Their entire fleet is suffering from a fierce attack from both Angelo and Huang Liang from both sides. They are barely holding on to their formation, but under the intense firepower, it’s only a matter of time before the formation is breached.
The energy shield of a cargo spaceship and a planet destroyer was destroyed. They quickly retreated behind the other spaceships but they still sustained a lot of damage, as their hull was scorched black and semi-destroyed.
However, these two spaceships still laid on the defensive line, hiding behind their companions and firing continuous laser beams and artillery, blocking Angelo and Huang Liang’s attack to some extent.
"These Hunter galaxy’s fleets are war madmen."
Watching the partly broken planet destroyer battleship ahead, a soldier besides Angelo said with a look of amazement.
"If it wasn't because our weapons and equipment are better than theirs, there would be no telling of the outcome."
"Even with the advantage of our ambush, it’s still difficult to deal with these guys."
"Yes, the world outside is much broader than the Milky Way galaxy, civilizations more powerful than the SkyRiver Empire are also everywhere. Although we are about to catch up with the SkyRiver Empire, we shouldn’t become arrogant."
Angelo listened to the discussion of the soldiers in the control room and wanted to say some, but his expression changed in the next moment.
From the Hunter fleet ahead, many space fighters suddenly galloped towards them without worrying about the consequences. They are launching a suicide attack!
"These guys."
After seeing the approaching space fighters, Angelo frowned, then reminded the other spacecraft in the fleet.
"Attention everyone, don’t allow these space fighters to get close to you."
The fighters of the Hunter galaxy fiercely and fearlessly carried out suicide attacks, causing their numbers to decrease even faster. However, Angelo and Huang Liang's fleet also suffered under the suicidal attacks of the space fighters.
"It’s like a dying fierce beast. On the verge of death but in its most dangerous state.."
Although his fleet has slightly shifted to defense and their firepower has decreased, Angelo didn’t feel frustrated.
The opponent’s space fighters are limited, this situation will not last long. After all their space fighters explode, they will launch a force counterattack and smoothly destroy this hunter fleet.
After all, without the harassment of space fighters, their Planet Destroyers can attack them without restraint, coupled with the assistance of their space fighters, the results of the battle are almost set in stone.
“Boom!”
When the last enemy’s space fighter exploded, Angelo’s fleet immediately launched a counterattack, sending their own space fighters as a cover, their planet destroyers approached the Hunter fleet and launched a fierce laser attack. This is most likely the final exchange of attacks.
"Boss."
In the command ship of the Hunter galaxy's fleet, a group of soldiers looked at their leader Chax. Previously, with the cover of their space fighters, they should have been able to last longer, but now...
With only their cargo spaceships and planet destroyer battleships left, their situation can be said to be perilous.
However, even so, Chax still had that indifferent expression on his face. Even in the face of death, his eyes remained like a cold frozen like.
"Boss, what should we do now?" a soldier swallowed his saliva and nervously asked Chax.
Chax replied lightly.
"Wait."
"Wait?"
All the soldiers looked at each other with a puzzled look on their faces.
Just as they were puzzled and desperate about what to do, a smile suddenly appeared on Chax’s cold face.
"It’s alright, they are here."
"They are here? What?"
The mouths of the soldiers in the control room twitched. In this dangerous situation where they can die at any time, Chax actually said that it’s alright, but what does he mean by ‘they are here?’.
Just as these soldiers wanted to ask something, their eyes suddenly widened.
"That is……"
On the big screen in front of them, there is the scene of Angelo and Huang Liang fleets attacking them from both sides.
However, shockingly, not far behind Angelo’s fleet, a huge fleet was heading towards them. The thing that caught their attention the most is the horned skull symbol on them. It’s...
"It’s our fleet!"
After seeing this fleet, a smile finally appeared on the face of the soldiers. Some immediately understood the meaning of Chax's previous words.
"Boss, did you already know that there will be reinforcements?"
Chax smiled but didn’t reply.
Their appearance and act of chasing Huang Liang’s fleet here was a predominated act. They knew that a powerful fleet was likely hidden here, ambushing passing patrols, hence they devised a plan to destroy it.
Even if it was not a fleet but rather a Star Beast, they can still capture it during this operation.
"Damn, we were fooled, It’s a trap!"
In the control center of the command ship, Angelo looked at the approaching fleet behind with an extremely ugly expression.
He knew that this fleet belongs to the Hunter Galaxy, and the number of spaceships in it is huge! There are at least 7 Imperial-class Battleships in it, let alone a large number of lower-class battleships.
The most shocking thing is the humongous battleship in the middle of the fleet. It’s most likely a higher class planet destroyer battleship.
"My God, it's over!"
In Huang Liang's fleet, the people who originally thought they were about to win fell into despair after seeing the incoming fleet.
"Attack!"
This order sounded amongst the spaceships of the incoming fleet, prompting many battleships and space fighters to head towards the battlefield.
One of them clearly locked Angelo's command ship.
"Damn it, it's coming towards us!"
Angelo said with a look of anger. He is not reconciled! Is he going to fall here?
“Boom!!”
Many laser beams immediately destroyed the battleship that was protecting Angelo’s command ship, after which the battleships continued heading towards it.
The command ship hurriedly activated the energy shield, but in the ensuing attack, it was quickly overwhelmed, then shattered.
A group of space fighters swarmed towards the defenseless command ship like locusts.
