"That guy can't hold on."
Fang Yun could see that the body of the golden behemoth was being bombarded frantically, with countless pieces of flesh and blood flying out into space or even vaporized.
"Payne’s fleet has only five Norton-class planet destroyers left. The new fleet has seven Norton-class planet destroyers, but they don’t have a lot of Imperial-class and Victory-class battleship."
Fang Yun looked at the two fleets not far away, judging their approximate strength. After a few moments, his body suddenly moved forward, heading towards the battlefield.
As he quickly moved forward, he launched a very laser beam towards a Norton-class battleship.
Taken off-guard, the battleship wasn’t able to deploy its energy shield and was directly destroyed.
“Boom!!”
“Hum... Hum…”
The moment Fang Yun appeared, the alarm bells of the various spaceships rang loudly. Payne, Oliver, and the leader of the new fleet quickly discovered Fang Yun’s appearance.
The moment Oliver and Payne saw Fang Yun, they were greatly frightened.
"Is it the serpent-pathogen?"
Oliver's eyes widened as he looked at the image of Fang Yun on the display. On the display screen, he could see a gigantic serpent, far bigger than the golden behemoth, heading towards them.
Right now, their two fleets have been mixed together, and the commander of the new fleet, McGill, hesitantly asked Payne.
"Payne, is that the serpent-pathogen that attacked the Imperial Planet?"
"Yes, it’s him."
Payne nodded and replied.
McGill stood in the control center of his spaceship, his face filled with surprise.
"Wasn’t it in Imperial Planet? Why did it appear here?"
"Who knows why it appeared here..."
Mid-sentence, Payne’s face changed, he guessed something.
"Did this great serpent follow us?"
This is the most likely possibility, otherwise, he can’t imagine how it coil appear here, and at this critical time.
The thought of that terrifying creature secretly following behind without their awareness caused his body to shudder.
“Boom!!”
As Fang Yun quickly flew forward, he launched another laser beam towards a Norton-class battleship, but this time, the laser was blocked by an energy shield, creating a large explosion.
The spaceships ahead shifted their firepower, attacking the great serpent frantically.
This rain of laser beams was extremely fierce. Fang Yun directly used the "Space Barrier" to defend. At the same time, he sent two laser beams towards the battleship he attacked previously, directly destroying its energy shield.
Fang Yun who was moving forward at sub-light speed directly flew towards that battleship and heavily collided with it.
“Boom!”
Norton-class planet destroyers are very small in front of the 90 kilometers long Fang Yun. In front of his full-power physical strike, it was directly broken into pieces, exploding, and lighting up the dark space.
Another rain of laser beams flew towards Fang Yun, who directly used Space Barrier to block. Fang Yun’s body flashed again, appearing directly in the middle of the fleet.
Currently, these two fleets have only 11 Norton-class battleships remaining. Fang Yun felt that with his current power, it shouldn’t be difficult to destroy and eat them.
If these old people in the elder council knew that they lost so many Norton-class planet destroyers at once, they will probably vomit blood and faint.
“Boom! Boom!”
Fang Yun and the fleet exchanged laser beam bombardments. Occasionally, Fang Yun used “Antimatter Bomb” to attack, catching them off guard.
Of course, despite using “Space Barrier” and trying his best to dodge, he was also hit by many laser beams, creating many giant craters on his body. However, with the firepower of this fleet, they can’t even severely injure him. All the injuries he sustained quickly healed, leaving no scar behind.
During the fight, he didn’t choose to fight against the fleet head-on.
Instead, he adopted guerrilla tactics, flashing from one corner of the battlefield to the other, hiding in the void and launching sneak attacks, and appearing between several battleships, causing them to ceasefire.
Every time, he attacked, he destroyed a Norton-class battleship or several weaker ones.
In this way, the number of Planet Destroyer Battleships in the Supreme Blue Empire’s fleet slowly decreased, posing even a smaller threat to Fang Yun.
"Asshole!"
Payne cursed loudly. At the same time, whisps of fear gradually emerged in his heart. He felt that they might just die in this desolate place.
No one could have ever thought that the serpent-pathogen will follow them. This pathogen is unimaginably powerful, much more powerful than the golden behemoth, but such a powerful creature is actually shamelessly playing guerilla tactics with them.
If it faced them head-on, even though it’s powerful, they should be able to protect themselves, but unfortunately, this serpent is very cunning.
This earth-shattering battle continued for a few days.
Five days later, there were only five Norton-class plane destroyers in their fleet.
As for the other planet destroyers, the number of Imperial-class and Victory-class has been greatly reduced. Only 18 Imperial-class and 23 Victory-class battleships remain.
The most important thing is that after the battle with the golden behemoth and the great serpent, the amount of energy in their spacecraft had decreased drastically. If the battle keeps going on, they might run out of energy before being annihilated.
"Payne, what shall we do now?"
Inside the control center, Oliver anxiously asked Payne.
"Should we...should just leave?"
He looked at Payne, waiting for his decision.
The situation here is becoming more and more unfavorable for them. The Great Serpent is powerful beyond their imagination, and what is even more terrifying is that there is a golden behemoth on the side.
The golden behemoth had completely recovered in the past few days. It launched a frenzied attack on them yesterday.
Not long ago, the golden behemoth has managed to destroy one of their Norton-class planet destroyers under their heavy defensive formation. Looking at its furious appearance, it can be seen how much the golden behemoth hates them.
After destroying their energy shield, the golden behemoth directly swallowed the Norton-class battleships with the people inside.
At that time, Payne and Oliver almost heard the terrified screams of the people inside the battleship.
"Let’s leave."
After a long time, Payne said sullenly, his heart was filled with pain and grief.
They came here to deal with the golden behemoth. There was even another powerful fleet to assist them, but in the end, they could only escape like dogs, the majority of their fleet destroyed.
Payne felt that he didn't have the face to go back and see the elders.
But he also needs to be responsible for the remaining soldiers. They can't stay here anymore, otherwise, they will certainly be annihilated.
