-----------------------
The number of Norton-class planet destroyers is limited, so they are not easily used in combat. Their function is generally about strategic deterrence.
However, in front of powerful enemies, like now, it’s impossible to not make a move.
As the war against Fang Yun continued, these five fleets were turned upside down. Countless small battleships and space fighters were destroyed during the battle.
All the space fighters of this fleet can’t resist his attacks or contain him. They can only be destroyed in front of his powerful attacks.
These fleets are cooperating very well. Every time Fang Yun is attacking the Norton-class planet destroyers in their team, other battleships or cargo spaceships will come to help.
There is no sense of fear of life and death. Their cooperation is seamless, greatly hindering Fang Yun’s attacks.
After all, the Great Elder Murray said at the beginning that they must protect the Norton-class Planet Destroyers. After all, they don’t have much inventory of it.
Even if they manage to kill the great serpent this time, if the losses of the Norton-class planet destroyers are too much, this operation can only be considered as a failure.
"Damn it, it won't work."
In the command center of the headquarters, because of the connection, the Great Elder Murray, John, and Odyssey were all able to watch the battle in real-time.
At this time, they are completely sure that they chose the right direction.
At first, they were thrilled to find their target so quickly; It seemed as if luck is on their side.
However, to their shock and fear, the vast team composed of 5 Imperial fleets is actually at a considerable disadvantage in the face of the Great Serpent. It’s almost being crushed.
“Boom!!”
On the display screen in front of them, they watched as the great serpent’s lasers crushed dozens of space fighters on the way before landing on a battleship.
"Heh, I like situations like this the most."
Fang Yun had a smile on his face. He rushed in front of a team of space fighters at light speed and crushed it with a wave of his gigantic tail.
"No!!"
The pilots of these space fighters could only release a despair-filled cry before being crushed. In front of Fang Yun’s giant tail attack at near light speed. Not to mention these small space fighters even a small planet will be crushed.
"Although it’s comfortable to deal with these space fighters. It’s the five Norton-class planet destroyers that really threaten me."
Fang Yun destroyed another space fighter not far away, then looked to his left side. On that side, there was a large number of space fighters and battleships protecting a Norton-class battleship behind.
"They must still have some fleets behind, and it won’t take them long to reach this area."
Fang Yun thought internally. Thinking for a moment, he turned his head around and fired two super laser beams at the spaceships protecting the Norton-class battleship.
"It’s time to use the antimatter bomb."
With these two super lasers clearing the way, a large area was immediately vacated between him and the Norton-class battleship. Fang Yun immediately flew closer while opening his mouth.
A black sphere darker than the darkest space appeared in front of his mouth. The power and energy radiating from it distorted the surrounding void.
Accumulating to the limit, Fang Yun released it towards the opposite Norton-class battleship.
The Norton-class Planet Destroyer ahead had no time to escape. It could only helplessly resist the Antimatter bomb head-on.
The power of the anti-matter bomb was extremely terrifying. The energy shield of this Norton-class planet destroyer resisted the black sphere with all of its might, reluctantly stopping it.
Fang Yun naturally didn’t just watch. He quickly released two laser beams towards the Norton-class battleship, breaking its shield.
“BOOM!!!”
Without the obstruction of the energy shield, the black sphere firmly landed on the Norton-class battleship, resulting in an earth-shattering explosion and turning it into countless fragments.
"The current anti-matter bomb is just a bit more powerful than “Super Laser cannon”. after the level of the anti-matter bomb increases, its power should increase dramatically."
Fang Yun was a bit regretful. He thought he could reduce the Norton-class Planet Destroyer into pieces with a single shot, but it didn't matter too much, because this skill is already very powerful, and it still has a lot of room for growth.
“Buzz!”
Fang Yun’s body was flooded with laser beams, roasting his flesh and creating countless craters on his body, but he quickly escaped.
"4 Norton-class battleships are remaining."
Fang Yun’s gaze swept across the team and locked his targets, preparing to plan to destroy the four Norton-class planet destroyers, but at this time, a strange wave of fluctuations appeared not far away.
"Damn it, someone is coming here."
Fang Yun's expression became ugly. He quickly turned around and left the battlefield.
"Forget it, let’s leave first, but since these guys have sent such a powerful force to chase me, they shouldn’t have left too many forces to protect their hometown."
Fang Yun sneered, through his perception of the previous fluctuations, he noticed many giant fleets heading towards this area. Many times more numerous than the huge fleet that had been entangling him.
Through the information he collected before, he knows that there are definitely not many Norton-class planet destroyers near the Imperial Planet and the central area of the Empire. Since they sent so many fleets headed by Norton-class battleships, how many high-class forces remain in the Imperial Planet now?
“Boom!!”
Finally, Fang Yun flew to a Norton-class planet destroyer that had its energy shield broken and destroyed it, breaking the encirclement.
With many injuries on his body, Fang Yun quickly left the battlefield, disappearing into the distant dark space.
"Shit, he ran away."
Inside the headquarters’ command center, John waved his fist angrily. Despite their efforts, the great serpent still escaped before the major forces joined the battlefield.
In front of the Great Serpent’s terrifying speed, it’s wishful dreaming to catch up with it. Even if they send their fastest spaceship to follow, they will only be helplessly destroyed.
"We lost two Norton-class planet destroyers, but we didn't gain anything at all?"
The great elder Murray gritted his teeth with anger. He could see that that pathogen has an extremely high attack power. The energy shield of Norton-class battleships couldn’t resist even two of its strikes.
For other battleships, the situation is even worse. It doesn’t make a difference whether they deploy their energy shield or not.
"Great Elder Murray, what shall we do now?"
Harris, the captain of the 13th Fleet, asked the great elder Murray.
At present, more and more fleets have gathered on the previous battlefield, but they are indeed confused. They don't know whether to pursue the great serpent or retreat and disperse.
"Retreat and disperse separately, but you don't have to disperse too far, just patrol that area first."
Murray arranged for Harris and the other fleet captains, then turned off the communicator.
On the other side, after Fang Yun got rid of the huge fleet behind him, he wandered freely in space. Not long after, a giant turtle was following behind him.
The two giant monsters headed towards the direction of the Imperial Planet of the Supreme Blue Empire.
