---------------------------
If he uses “Ultimate Gravity” on the enemy spaceships, he can either crash them all together or squeeze them into many metal balls. Either way, this skill is extremely useful whether it’s against single or multiple opponents.
Fang Yun liked these two new skills very much.
However, upgrading these two skills is very expensive, and the two skills are also growth-type skills, that is to say, the skill points required for each upgrade increase.
The skill points required to upgrade these two skills for the first time are 80 skill points.
Fang Yun spent a total of 170 skill points and upgraded “Super Laser Cannon” twice. Now, his laser beam attack had become even more powerful. Even he doesn’t know the extent of its power now.
With this skill, Fang Yun’s journey to gather bio-energy points has become even easier.
For example, he can easily level a mountain range and search for any minerals inside it now. If he gets serious, then sinking an entire continent isn’t difficult.
He can also create an extremely deep hole that goes straight into the planet core, then go inside and devour the magma there.
The bio-energy that magma can provide is pretty good, mainly because it’s very numerous, with many precious minerals inside of it.
Magma doesn’t have any effect on Fang Yun’s body now. It’s nothing more than a slightly warmer bath.
Several resources-filled planets near Dome's star were hollowed and eaten by Fang Yun, leaving only dead rocks.
He even directly blew up several moons with a diameter of several thousands of kilometers and ate the hot magma inside.
After finishing this, he started traveling again with the giant turtle again.
However, when he left, he didn’t know that a huge fleet was moving away from him a few trillions of kilometers away.
This is the fleet sent by the Tianhe Empire to investigate the situation.
This fleet is a true war fleet composed of 30 Victory-class planet destroyers and 3 Imperial-class planet destroyers. In addition, there are 50 large cargo ships and tens of thousands of space fighters.
Of course, those space fighters are all parked inside the cargo spaceships and planet destroyers for now.
Such a huge lineup is very rare inside the galaxy. If it appears, it’s usually to deal with a rebellious advanced civilization or a particularly powerful Pathogen.
In this fleet, there is a special instrument that can detect the existence of Pathogens and powerful life forms within a light-year range.
This kind of instrument can be used in conjunction with their hyperspace technology, allowing them to instantly teleport to the place where the target was detected.
They had been wandering here for more than two years before. This is their last investigation in this place. If they don’t find the target this time, they will abandon this area and go to a more distant place.
In short, they must catch the target this time.
This is an order from the headquarters of the Empire.
The leader of this war fleet is called El Frye. He comes from the El family, which is a well-known noble family in the SkyRiver Empire. This time, in addition to the orders of the Empire, he also received specials instructions from a big figure in the family.
"Frye, use all your means to get rid of that Pathogen, then find a way to stealthily take its energy core, and finally bring it back to me."
Inside the control center of Archangel, the command ship, Frye sat on a soft chair, recalling what Redrick, the next-generation family leader said.
"I still failed Master Redrick's trust. Don’t mention the energy core, I can’t even find that Pathogen."
Frye shook his head.
A pathogen energy core is a very special kind of material. It contains unimaginably huge and special energy. Not only the pathogens have it, but even star beasts have it. It’s just that the value of a pathogen’s energy core is incomparable to that of Star Beast, even if the star beast is a level higher than said pathogen.
The energy core of Pathogens is valued very much by the upper-class of the Empire. Once it appears, there will immediately be a fierce bid to get hold of it.
In fact, the means that the upper-class can use to get the energy core is beyond ordinary people’s imagination, showcasing its supreme value.
Overall, the preciousness and usefulness of a Pathogen’s energy core, especially a powerful one are enough to drive the Empire’s nobles and higher officials crazy.
The Empire specially commissioned him to get the energy core of the Serpent-shaped Pathogen this time. He must get it and give it to the higher-ups.
Of course, now that he has become the leader of this fleet, he can use some methods to keep it in his hand. At that time, he will pass the energy core back to his family through some means.
Once the energy core reaches the hands of the El family, it would be very hard to take it back, even for the Empire’s higher officials.
In fact, he wasn’t originally going to be appointed as the leader of this fleet, another person was going to take this position, but under the operation of the El family, Frye still got this position.
However, things are not that simple. This fleet isn’t the only one investigating this area, there’s another official fleet searching a few light-years away.
Besides that……
"Unfortunately, the family wasn’t able to drive away that pesky guy."
Frye was a little annoyed internally. The government officials not only sent another fleet, but also planted spies around him, but Frye didn't show any signs of dissatisfaction on the surface. After all, he isn’t so stupid, he can still be considered as a lower government official.
"Commander Frye."
A mellow voice resounded behind Frye.
"It seems that our luck is not very good. It has been two years since we started this mission, but we haven't found anything yet."
"Rhoda! Never say such discouraging words."
Frye acted like a senior, admonishing Rhoda with a serious look.
"You need to be calmer, do you know why you have been struggling for the military field longer than me, but you’re still my deputy?"
"It’s because you’re not as calm as I am."
After teaching Rhoda a lesson, he slowly turned his back and said.
"We will definitely find that Pathogen, but It’s not easy to find a creature that is around 20 kilometers long in the vast space."
"Well, I hope we can meet that monster soon."
Rhoda shrugged noncommittally.
Of course, he didn't want their fleet to encounter the pathogen. He hoped that the other fleet led by the government officials to encounter it.
"Leader, deputy leader, our instruments have detected a powerful life fluctuation not far away"
Just as the two were silently looking at each other, a voice rang behind them, causing them to turn their heads together.
"what happened?"
Frye was the first to ask the man in front of them.
