--------------------------
The fleet dispatched by the SkyRiver Empire to assist the Dome civilization is called the Red Dog Commando. This fleet is headed by two Planet-destroyer battleships, five 15-kilometer-class cargo spaceships, and three hundred space fighters.
The space fighters can be divided into two categories, the heavy-type fighter, the giant eagle, and the light-type fighter, the falcon, their number is roughly 3-7.
Such a fleet is very terrifying, as few civilizations can withstand the firepower of two planet-destroyers, let alone hundreds of powerful space fighters and a heavily loaded cargo spaceship.
The leader of this fleet is called Conway, a veteran who has experienced many battles. Due to his outstanding contributions on the battlefield, he was appointed as the leader of this fleet.
He’s nicknamed as Red Dog, due to his ferocious and ruthless nature. Even the entire fleet was named after this, showcasing their fierce nature.
The red dog is a very powerful and very fierce Star Beast. An Adult Red Dog is a disaster-class Star Beast.
"Boss, the Emperor of Dome is coming to see you. By the way, the girls he sent us yesterday are really delicious."
In the control room of the command ship, Adjutant Ryan to Captain Conway with a frivolous smile on his face.
After arriving here, the Emperor of Dome personally entertained them. It wasn’t until today that they decided to start working.
What they need to do now is to go to the place where Stevenson and his fleet captured Angelo's spacecraft, then conduct a large-scale investigation nearby.
"However, it’s really a pity. This time it will take only 1 or 2 years to return to the Empire.”
Ryan shook his head helplessly. He hopes that such a task takes a long time. Although they are going to investigate the area where the suspects were last seen, they aren’t going to patrol all the time. They will go back to Dome Planet once in a while.
At the time when they were sent on this mission, they considered it as a holiday.
They had been guarding the border of the galaxy before for decades, especially during the period when the Star Beast Tide erupted. They all felt nervous, for fear that nearby galaxies would attack them.
This time they were sent to Dominians to assist them to search for human civilization. Their entire fleet didn’t take this task seriously and considered it a holiday.
"We’re much better now than the time we were at the border."
Conway smiled at Ryan and said.
"For an advanced race like us, a year or two is nothing at all."
"That's true."
Ryan nodded, then immediately said.
"Boss, do you think that we can find the Infected civilization this time?"
"Heh, the rewards promised by the higher-ups are very generous this time, but we only have 20 years. If we don't find that civilization during this time, our fleet will be replaced."
Conway nodded and said.
"Since one of their spaceships was discovered in that area, then their home base must be nearby, as long as we are a little careful, we can definitely find them."
Hearing this, Ryan nodded, his face was filled with excitement.
Although they considered this task as a holiday, they are still very tempted by the rewards given for this task. They are also very determined to find the infected civilization and the Pathogen this time.
Suddenly, a harsh siren suddenly rang from the detection equipment on their ship.
"A fleet is approaching."
Conway reacted in an instant. This was the signal that an unfamiliar fleet is approaching them. He couldn't help but wonder, how could there be a fleet here, and why is it actively approaching them.
But before he had time to think deeply, another harsher alarm rang in the ship again.
The moment this alarm went off, Conway’s face immediately changed.
"It’s a pathogen! A pathogen!"
Conway yelled loudly.
"A pathogen is approaching, damn it, everyone! get to your positions and prepare for battle!”
His instructions were passed on to every ship in the fleet. All spacecraft quickly moved to their positions and started charging their weapons, preparing to fire at the incoming enemy.
But it was too late.
“Boom!”
It was like a meteor darting across the sky. Conway and Ryan saw from the display in the control center that a huge black shadow suddenly flashed in front of the Planet Destroyer next to them.
The Planet-Destroyer battleship immediately released its energy shield, then attacked using laser cannons, turbo laser cannons, and other powerful weapons. All of which were desperately released towards the unknown creature ahead.
“Boom! Boom! Boom!”
Countless explosions occurred on Fang Yun’s body. The firepower that is enough to destroy a moon couldn't deal any substantial damage to Fang Yun.
Whenever a wound appears, his terrifying regeneration ability does act, restoring any wound in just a few seconds.
The firepower failed to stop Fang Yun as he quickly appeared in front of the Planet-Destroyer.
Ryan and the others in the control center watched as the terrifying creature heavily hit the other planet-destroyer spaceship.
The energy shield of the spaceship quickly deformed, then broke down, followed by Fang Yun colliding heavily with the spaceship;
“Boom!”
Naturally, the material of the Planet-destroyer is extremely tough, but Fang Yun is not a vegetarian. Under his full impact, the entire Planet-Destroyer was pushed downwards. At the same time, a huge dent appeared on the hull of the spaceship, from which a huge crack extended around.
The reason why the planet-destroyer spaceship wasn’t directly broken is that Fang Yun hadn’t had the time to accumulate speed and accelerate further, otherwise, it would have been broken into pieces.
"Damn it, attack! Attack that monster now!"
In the control center, Conway's eyes turned red after seeing this scene.
This is his personal fleet. It took him a lot of military exploits and time to get it. Of the two most precious Planet-destroyers in his, one was actually destroyed.
One can imagine how raging his anger is at the moment.
The other space fighters reacted and started attacking Fang Yun.
“Roar!!!”
Fang Yun raised his head and released an earth-shattering roar, he suddenly twisted his body and headed towards the other planet-destroying spaceship where Conway is.
Destroying the most powerful and threatening spaceships first.
Fang Yun's initial plan is to destroy the two planet-destroying spaceships.
So he didn’t even bother saying anything to Henry. He took off on his own and attacked the two most dangerous spaceships first.
"Stop it! Stop that monster!"
Seeing Fang Yun actually running towards them, both Conway and Ryan panicked.
They did not expect that they would face such a perilous situation in this holiday-like mission.
"Damn it, I never experienced such a thing even in the battlefield at the border!"
Conway yelled angrily.
Unfortunately, his anger is useless, he still couldn’t do anything. The space fighters around and their own Planet-destroyer spaceship couldn’t stop Fang Yun from getting closer.
He was covered in a lightning field with a diameter of 100 kilometers. Stopping most incoming lasers and projectiles while dealing damage to the space fighters in the vicinity.
At the same time, his speed was getting faster and faster, crossing a distance of tens of thousands of kilometers in just a few seconds.
