Chapter 393: Attacking the Dome Civilization
🕑 Added 2020-10-19 23:16:38 +0000 UTC6/6 chapter, enjoy.
------------------------
The humans who were observing the planet of Dome were led by Angelo. They quietly invaded Dome's network through a supercomputer and started gathering information.
They didn’t try to invade important networks, only civilian networks, hence for a while, the Dominians didn’t notice their existence.
After all, in essence, the technological level of the Federation has surpassed Dome star.
At the same time, they sent the relevant information they captured back to the newly constructed relay station, and after several consecutive transmissions, they were sent back to the Earth.
The Federation’s communication methods had come a long way. Not to mention that their communication technology is only inferior compared with the SkyRiver, they are still vigorously catching up with them.
In the base camp, after receiving the message sent back by Angelo, Tang Guo quickly reported it back to Fang Yun.
Fang Yun was quietly hovering in space. From the information Tang Guo sent him, it’s almost certain that the Dome civilization has sent their information back to the SkyRiver Empire.
The fleet of the Empire has already visited the Dome planet.
At the same time, they have a rough estimate of the power of the Dome civilization. They are indeed worse than the Human Federation, but the difference in technological power is far from reaching an insurmountable level.
The Blue Planet Federation can’t crush the Dome civilization using military power, especially since a SkyRiver Empire’s fleet joined the fray.
Therefore, before attacking the Dome civilization, they must block their escape route and especially ensure that they can’t send an SOS message to the SkyRiver Empire.
If that happens, then in the midst of war, the large forces of the SkyRiver Empire might come to hunt them. By then, not to mention dealing with the Dome civilization, their fleet will be likely get annihilated
Maybe even the coordinates of the Earth will be exposed. Therefore, they not only have to block the signal transmission but also have to quickly end the battle.
It's impossible to do this with the strength of the Federation, but things might be different with the addition of Fang Yun.
His current strength is extremely terrifying, especially dealing with weak intelligent creatures that rely on technology. It could be said that he is their nemesis.
With his assistance, the Blue Planet Federation should be able to deal with the Dome civilization quickly and without any accident.
On the 37th day since Angelo was sent to monitor the Dome civilization. Fang Yun led a huge fleet and set off. The fleet is composed of the Federation’s latest space fighters and cargo ships. The Rulers, and the Gourmets.
One hundred and fifty Rulers space fighters and three Gourmet cargo ships. Finally, there’s a Battlestar.
The Battlestar is a spherical weapon with a diameter of 12 kilometers. It’s completely made of special alloy and is extremely expensive to build. It’s equipped with a lot of weapons, including turbo laser cannons and an energy shield.
A weapon of this level can be considered a strategic one even in the SkyRIver Empire. A superweapon capable of easily destroying a planet.
Even a planet-destroyer spaceship has to be cautious in front of this weapon, as entering its attack range is almost like a death sentence.
This Battlestar was named as the Blue Dragon!
It’s equipped with hundreds of turbo laser cannons. Furthermore, its energy device has sufficient energy to support the hundreds of turbo laser cannons shooting at the same time.
Of course, this type of turbo laser cannon generally requires getting recharged for a certain amount of time before getting fired once again. Therefore, unless the target is captured by a towing beam generator or if its mobility is limited, the Battlestar certainly won’t fire all of its turbo laser cannons at the same time.
This lineup can be said to be quite luxurious, this is the top lineup that the human Federation can dispatch, but due to their mission this time, it seems quite justified.
After all, they are not only going to attack the home planet of a powerful civilization, but they also have to finish the battle as quickly as possible, hence it’s normal to send their strongest lineup.
Under Fang Yun's leadership, the fleet got closer and closer to the Dome home planet.
It’s worth mentioning that although Fang Yun is leading the fleet right now, he isn’t the commander of this mission. He doesn’t want to hold this position or deal with its responsibilities at all.
Fang Yun actually knew the leader of this operation. It’s Henry that followed Tang Guo into the Forbidden Land dozens of years ago.
After ascending to the Elder position, Tang Guo brought this familiar person into her entourage.
"Your Excellency, we are still 1 light-year away from Dome Planet."
Henry reported to Fang Yun.
"We’re about to make the last space jump."
"Our landing location is about 7 million kilometers away from the Dominian star field."
"According to the news we received from Angelo, that starfield is currently empty, so it’s safe to make a jump straight into it.”
Henry is quite old, he’s about to step into old age now, but he has no intention to retire. He has repeatedly insisted on staying in the interstellar platoon, planning to spend the remainder of his life in battle.
This time, Tang Guo has entrusted him with a very important task. He’s going to be the leader of the fleet sent to wage war against the Dome civilization. To be the first leader in history to wage humanity's first interstellar civilizations battle made him feel very honored, but also put him under a lot of pressure.
To be appointed as a leader of such an important and monumental task showcased Tang Guo’s trust in him, and he is not planning to fail her trust.
"All units prepare! We’re going to make a space jump!"
After reporting to Fang Yun, Henry informed the rest of the fleet about the space jump they are going to make.
All space fighters are inside the cargo spaceships, so it’s only the three cargo ships and the Battlestar that are going to make a space jump this time.
Whether it's the cargo spaceships or the Blue Dragon Battlestar, they are obviously equipped with hyperspace engines.
Amongst the fleet, Henry’s command ship was the first to make the space jump, followed by the other two cargo ships, then the Battlestar and Fang Yun.
"After the destruction of the Dome civilization, the entire Galaxy shouldn’t remain calm."
Fang Yun has already started imagining the scene after the Dome civilization is destroyed by them. Anyway, his fame will definitely spread this time. After all, the demise of Dominians is majorly related to him, and his name will definitely spread throughout the galaxy along with the news of the destruction of the Dome civilization.
This will certainly arouse the vigilance of other civilizations, coupled with some unstable factors, the atmosphere of the entire galaxy will become very subtle. At that time, if the SkyRiver Empire doesn’t deal with this matter properly, internal chaos is likely to arise throughout the Milky Way.
Presumably, outside forces such as the Sirius Galaxy will certainly not miss such an opportunity.
Just as Fang Yun was thinking about this, their fleet has finally completed the space jump.
"Head towards Dome Planet."
Henry commanded the fleet. Suddenly, many doors on the side of the three cargo ships opened, followed by many space fighters flying out.
Right at that moment, a voice suddenly sounds in Henry’s earphones. It’s Angelo.
"Emergency! Emergency! General Henry, please prepare for battle!”
"The Dome civilization’s fleet is heading straight towards you!"
Angelo’s voice sounded over a special communication channel.
It wasn’t just Henry who receive the sudden message, even Fang Yun received it. His mood didn’t fluctuate much, he just raised his head and looked ahead.
