Chapter 35: The Wisest Dragon!
🕑 Added 2020-10-18 16:34:28 +0000 UTCAnother reason is that the food in Dragon Island is much more expensive than outside. As for the reason?
Who made almost all dragons in Dragon Island so rich?
Generally, teenage dragons have at least several thousand gold coins.
Young adults usually have Tens of thousands of gold coins, as for adults? Even the poorest have 100,000 gold coins!
Shillong calculated it, for just a single meal, he actually has to pay for 7-8 gold coins!
How is this possible?
He’s just a young dragon, he can’t pay this much money!
Shillong stood on Arman's head silently before turning around and saying to the eager dragons.
"You guys can really eat! Go! Take me to the beach and I will catch food for you personally!"
"Hunt... food?" A brass dragon said in astonishment.
"Director! Are you joking? Do you want to hunt in the sea with your small body? You’ll be directly eaten by a sea monster!"
"That's right! Brother Shillong, don't you understand the dangers of the sea? Let me explain. Some of the sea monsters in the deep sea aren’t even inferior to true dragons! In the sea, we might not be necessarily their opponents! Even the weak and small creatures are hard to catch in the sea!” Nefiro hurriedly persuaded.
“Oh! Don’t be impulsive, little brother. The big deal is that we won’t eat your food! Isn’t that right, Ambrio?”
“……”
"Yes, we’ll solve our food problem ourselves, we don’t need to bother brother Shillong" Ambrio sighed and said.
’I just wanted to eat a meal worth 4 silver coins, but these rice-bucket dragons ruined it!’
’7-8 gold coins!’
’Even I can’t bear such expenditure, let alone a young dragon-like Shillong!’
’Most Dragons are stingy, and it’s not easy to make them pay money for something they don’t want!’
Shillong: "..."
Glancing at the dragons around comforting him, Shillong wanted to agree, but his reason and pride wouldn't allow him to do that!
Since he agreed before, won't regretting it now makes him look very stingy? Although all dragons are indeed very stingy, and the kind of iron-headed individuals that can kill for a single copper coin, Shillong felt that he’s different.
’We are still filming now and I'm the director! I can't leave them a bad impression. This will hinder our next cooperation!’
So he just smiled and said.
"Don't worry! I learned spells from a human mage when I was very young. The old man said I was a magic genius! I also often hunt and solve food problems by myself! Hence I have developed special hunting skills! "
"Still NO!" Nefiro refused adamantly. She didn't believe a single word of Shillong.
"Okay! That's it for today! Scatter now! We gather here tomorrow morning to continue filming!"
At the end, Nefiro waved her hand, driving these dragons away, then without waiting for Shillong to say anything, she flew away with a flash.
Ambrio and the other dragons also understood her meaning, scattering away one by one.
Shillong: "..."
What a group of good dragons!
Arman also breathed a sigh of relief.
"It's great! Fortunately, they are gone! Otherwise, it will be troublesome! Just a meal is so expensive!"
At the end, Alman paused, he hung his head slightly as he whispered. "Shillong, thank you for providing me with food for so long..."
When Shillong heard this, he smiled heartily. His tsundere little brother can act cute after all!
"Where did this politeness come from? Kid! I’m your big brother? Isn’t it natural for a big brother to take care of his younger brother?"
"How many times did I say this! I'm the big brother! Don't be proud of your big size, Shillong!" Arman retorted.
Shillong glanced at the last rays of the sunset, the sun is almost out of sight, and the night is about to completely engulf this land.
"Let's go! Go back! Mother should already be waiting for us."
"Let's go! I want to see my mother!"
After Arman finished speaking, he shook his giant wings and quickly flew into the sky.
Returning to their new nest, their mother Viola was already waiting outside the cave.
Upon seeing the approaching Arman and Shillong on his back, she smiled and said.
"Where did you two little guys go to play? Why did you come back so late?"
"We went to film!" Arman replied excitedly, eager to show off in front of his mother.
"Filming?" Viola wondered.
"Yes! It's filming! Mom, let me tell you, filming is..." Arman excitedly explained to his mother.
It wasn't until he finished his explanation that Viola nodded and said.
"It looks good, this is a new thing. As long as the movie you’re talking about isn’t too bad, I believe that all dragons won’t be stingy with their gold coins."
"So! We are getting rich! Mom!" Arman said excitedly.
"Then congratulations to both of you! This is something you invented. Mom is very happy." Viola smiled lovingly.
"Hehe~" Arman smiled with a silly look on his face, then his face suddenly became downcast.
"Unfortunately, this fool Shillong explained how to make a movie to a golden dragon called Andre! That golden dragon is also making a movie now!"
"Oh?" Viola glanced at Shillong with a look of surprise.
Shillong said helplessly. "Why are you bringing this up again? Didn't I tell you before? Making a movie requires skills! Not anyone who wants to make it can make it. Anyway, as long as the first movie is broadcasted, there will be a large number of dragons on Dragon Island to copy us!"
"I know!" Arman replied seriously.
"I just reported the fact to mom, t I didn't say anything bad about you!"
Viola heard this and nodded gently.
"Shillong's words are very reasonable. If his movie really earns a lot of gold coins, other dragons will definitely follow."
"As expected of mom, you’re so wise!" Shillong praised his mom without hesitation.
Viola squinted happily, gently stroking Shillong’s head.
Her huge claws were much larger than Shillong’s body, so she took them back after a slight rub.
Seeing this, Arman was a little jealous. He quickly said.
"Of course! Mom is the wisest in the world! The most beautiful! And the greatest dragon of all time!"
"Hmm! Little Arman is also the best in the world! The absolute cutest!" Viola also stroked Arman’s head with a smile.
Arman narrowed his eyes comfortably and quietly gave Shillong a provocative look from an angle that Viola couldn't see.
’This silly boy…’
Shillong smiled wryly and shook his head inwardly.
’Who wants to snatch maternal love from you?’
Arman enjoyed the caress of his mother for a while. While spoiling her youngest child, Viola opened her mouth and said.
"My children, you will live here in the future, I will live on the mountain next to you. Come with me, I’ll take you to see your mother’s residence."
Upon hearing this, the two little dragons flew over with Viola.
This time Viola's cave is in the middle of the mountain. It’s quite comfortable to stand at the entrance of the cave and look at the forest at the foot of the mountain.
After getting acquainted with this place, Shillong and Arman bid farewell to their mother and flew back to their lair to rest.
After Shillong went back, he discovered that there was nothing in the lair!
Taking a look at their empty cave, they jumped back into the forest again and began the logging journey.
After cutting down a tree, Shillong cut out a plank and took it back to the cave to sleep.
Originally, he wanted to make an animal skin, but unfortunately, the beasts here are all the property of true dragons, so he could only give up.
The next day, when the sky was slightly bright, Shillong got up.
After that, he woke Arman up and dragged him to the beach.
Looking at the endless blue sea, Arman asked curiously.
"You really want to go hunting in the sea? Didn't they say they don’t want to eat?"
"I don’t care about what they said! Since I said that I’ll invite them to eat, then I’ll do it! I’m a dragon of my words!" Silom said.
"But have you been to the sea before? They said there are sea monsters as powerful as true dragons." Arman said with a look of worry.
