--------------------------
“Boom!!”
Fang Yun heavily collided with the giant beetle. It almost felt like two planets colliding.
This giant beetle is much bigger than Fang Yun.
However, his body strength had reached an extremely terrifying level, so the result of this impact is shocking. It was the disaster-class giant beetle that was pushed back.
It even howled in pain a bit.
The giant turtle is shaking its head a bit now. During the previous impact, it sustained quite a bit of damage, causing it to be a bit dizzy. Fang Yun could almost ‘see’ the stars circling above its head.
Fortunately, he was the one that withstood most of the recoil, otherwise, it won’t be as simple as getting dizzy. It would at least get injured.
"This guy..."
Fang Yun glanced at the giant turtle silently. He’s still shaking his head, constantly waving its limbs around, looking like he wants to scratch his head, but couldn’t so due to his short limbs. It’s quite an amusing sight.
“Haha, silly turtle.”
After making sure that the giant turtle is okay, he focused his attention back on the opposite giant beetle.
The beetle relied on its own special ability to stabilize its body, then looked at Fang Yun again. It opened its giant mouth, as a bright light gathered in it.
A beam of light flew from its mouth, crossing thousands of kilometers in less than a second and landing straight on Fang Yun’s body.
"Boom!"
The light beam burned through his scales and a bit of his flesh, dealing quite a bit of damage. However, the giant hole healed in just a few seconds, restoring Fang Yun’s scales to their previous look.
"Huh?"
Xu Ke was truly shocked upon seeing this scene.
A disaster-class and dangerous-class star beasts collided with each other, but it ended with the loss of the calamity-class Star Beast. Even the laser beam released by the beetle hardly had any effect.
"The defense and recovery capabilities of this giant serpent are really shocking."
Xu Ke was truly amazed.
A 20-kilometer-long giant serpent actually has the upper hand against a 100 kilometers long beetle. How can he not be shocked?
"By the way, now that I look closely at them, these two monsters seem to be a bit familiar?"
There was a flash in Xu Ke's mind. He suddenly remembers hearing about these two creatures somewhere. After thinking for a moment, he suddenly recalled a piece of information he heard before.
Some time ago, two dangerous-class star beasts appeared near a certain gathering area, and many sets of fleets took off to hunt them, but the result was their complete annihilation.
He remembers that these two creatures were a giant serpent and a giant turtle.
"It won't be the two Star Beasts, right?"
After the news propagated, many people felt that that giant serpent and giant turtle might not be a simple dangerous-class Star Beasts. They might be disaster-class ones.
Of course, this is their guess based on the fact that the fight between Fang Yun and the Great Will was not disclosed. After all, they joined forces to massacre the fleets at first, but then fought each other right after. In the end, the giant serpent injured the Pathogen and forced it to escape.
This information was not disclosed to the public otherwise, many people will guess that the giant serpent is at least a powerful disaster-class star beast, possibly even beyond. However, this possibility is too small.
Above the disaster-class Star Beasts are the nightmare-class Star beasts.
Once this kind of creature appears in a certain star field, all civilizations and living creatures there will fall into a nightmare.
Disaster-class star beasts are generally 100 kilometers long, which is already very terrifying, but nightmare-class star beasts are usually at least 1000 kilometers long. They have already reached the threshold of smaller celestial bodies.
A creature of this size is extremely terrifying. It’s approaching the size of a small planet. Just its pure physical power is planetary-level.
Ordinary planet-destroyer spaceships are nothing but food in front of them. Only Imperial-class planet-destroyers and up are worthy of facing them.
A creature of this level is troublesome to deal with even for the SkyRiver Empire. At least, they need to face it carefully. They can’t treat it lightly like lower-levels Star Beasts.
They will definitely evaluate the strength of behemoths of such level carefully, then decide whether to attack it based on its level of aggressiveness and its route of action.
Nightmare-class star beasts have powerful attack power and very powerful escape ability. Not to mention their high wisdom. If they are defeated in a fight, they usually quickly run away, but they will definitely launch mad revenge on the ones that attacked them.
The more Xu Ke thought, the more he felt that these two giant monsters are the ones that destroyed the more than 20 fleets.
According to the survivors’ description, it was originally a battle between the serpent and the Pathogen. Due to their catastrophic battle, just the after damage heavily affected the other fleets.
Due to extreme pressure and fear, some of them attacked the two. No surprise, this caused their doom.
As for who of the two monsters won in the end, the survivors didn’t know.
However, from the battle at that time, it seemed as if the giant serpent has the upper hand. Naturally, the course of the battle can change anytime, so they couldn’t judge what will be the final result.
However, now that the giant serpent appeared here, it proves that he didn’t lose, or that at least he didn’t suffer any loss.
From this, the conclusion is that the giant serpent is definitely an existence of the disaster-class at least.
Only disaster-level Star beasts can escape from the hands of a third-class pathogen, or even come to a draw with it.
Third-class Pathogens are at the same level as disaster-class Star Beasts, but when it comes to combat power, third-class Pathogens are usually more powerful than the same level Star beasts.
The more powerful ones can even directly crush disaster-class Star Beasts and devour them with ease.
In fact, third-class Pathogens are actually half-a-step more powerful than disaster-class Star Beasts. They exist between the disaster-class and the nightmare-class level, and since this giant serpent was able to fight against them, then it must also be at the same level.
“Boom! Boom!”
While Xu Ke was still deeply in his thoughts, the battle between Fang Yun and the giant Beetle has reached a white-hot stage. Both of them started using big moves, such as lightning attacks, powerful laser beams, gravity attacks, etc...
Xu Ke had heard about the description of the battle between Fang Yun and the 'Great Will'. He still remembers their description of the big moves and the danger of the battlefield, but personally watching it is completely different from hearing about it.
He knew very well that if they were to get closer to the battlefield, they would be toast. Just a few laser beams from either of them is enough to destroy their energy shield.
As for their space fighters, he doesn’t see any possibility of them surviving a single strike.
"This battle is too shocking, that giant serpent must also be at least a disaster-class Star Beast, but why is his size so small?”
Xu Ke thought while watching the battle between the giant serpent and the giant beetle.
