Chapter 379: Fighting Against The Star Beetle
🕑 Added 2020-10-03 23:02:31 +0000 UTC6/8 chapter, enjoy.
-------------------------------
Despite its huge body and hideous appearance, the beetle still moved at a rapid speed in space. A behemoth that is one hundred kilometers long doesn't look small, even in the endless dark space.
Such a huge creature, if it falls from space to the surface of a planet, it will cause an unprecedented disaster. Every single lifeform on the planet will disappear as the planet’s topography will permanently change.
In the old history of the Blue Planet, it’s said that an asteroid with a just a few kilometers in diameter permanently changed the planet’s atmosphere and caused the extinction of dinosaurs.
That’s just an asteroid with a diameter of fewer than 10 kilometers, let alone one with a size of 100 kilometers.
What's more, this is just this Star Beast’s power and huge size. It still has all sorts of different and powerful abilities.
So it’s not difficult what scary scene would be that of a giant monster of such size rushing towards them. Not only was Tang Guo and her crew frightened, but even Xu Ke and his crew were also a bit scared.
However, with the appearance of a new variable, the situation of the battlefield subtly changed.
Xu Ke and his crew became even more frightened, but Tang Guo and her crew were different. In the command room of their main spaceship, Tang Guo's eyes suddenly brightened.
“Ouroboros!"
Tang Guo yelled loudly. With the appearance of her backup, she was finally able to relax a bit.
Not far away, the dark space suddenly distorted, then two giant creatures appeared.
A giant serpent and a giant turtle.
The body length of the giant serpent is more than 20 kilometers. As for the giant turtle, it’s more than 10 kilometers long, but because of its oval shape, its deterring factor is no less than that of the giant serpent.
“Roar!!!”
The moment the two giant monsters appeared, they released earth-shattering howls.
The sound propagated in the form of electromagnetic waves, then intercepted by a special instrument in the spacecraft. Everyone clearly heard the roar of these two giant monsters.
It’s a very low and penetrating roar.
This giant serpent and giant turtle are naturally Fang Yun and his younger brother. After receiving Tang Guo’s message, he rushed over immediately, just in time to see the huge behemoth rushing towards Tang Guo’s fleet.
Similarly, he also saw Xu Ke's fleet, and also discovered they don’t seem to be friends or allies, but rather using Tang Guo’s fleet as a shield.
He guessed the situation at once.
In his view, Xu Ke’s fleet is naturally not as powerful as this disaster-class Star beast, so he ignored them for the moment. His attention was entirely attracted by the giant beetle.
“Woo!!!”
The disaster-class beetle suddenly set its sight on Fang Yun and the Giant turtle, howling loudly, warning them to not get closer.
The nearby smaller Star Beasts immediately left after hearing the beetle’s howl. They sensed the madness emitting from the Beetle’s howl and body.
Obviously, this terrifying creature is about to go berserk, and they are likely to become a target if they remain close.
"Ouroboros, there should be no problem, right?."
Tang Guo contacted Fang Yun. The magnetic field emanating from the giant beetle is getting stronger and stronger, making her feel worried.
Fang Yun immediately reassured her after receiving the message. He is still very confident in dealing with a disaster-class Star Beast. He previously fought with a third-class Pathogen, forcing it to flee twice.
In fact, he is actually afraid that there aren’t many such creatures
After hearing Fang Yun's words, Tang Guo finally felt a little calm. After a moment, she ordered the personnel in the command room to inform all the pilots to slowly retreat.
Fang Yun looked at the terrifying beast ahead with a heart full of excitement.
This is the first time he has seen a star beast of the disaster-class. When he was wandering around before, he didn’t find any Star Beast remotely as powerful or as big as this one.
According to the system's prompts, this star beast can provide him with an unprecedented 300 million bio-energy points.
After the previous evolution, he was required to gather 9 billion bio-energy points for the next one. 300 million isn’t much in the face of such a number, but it’s not too little.
To complete the required 9 billion points, he just needs to eat 30 similar Star Beasts.
“Roar!!!”
Fang Yun let out a loud roar, the muscles on his cheeks shook. The next moment, his figure flashed. He took the initiative to attack the giant beetle. The giant turtle also howled and followed closely behind him.
The giant beetle not far away also angrily howled, then rushed towards Fang Yun.
Tens of thousands of kilometers away, Tang Guo watched nervously as the two behemoths were about to start fighting. They are currently quite far from the battlefield, but they could still clearly capture it using a high-powered camera.
Xu Ke and his fleet were also observing Fang Yun and the giant beetle. When both Fang Yun and the giant turtle appeared at first, they didn’t know their relationship with Tang Guo, so they had been quite frightened.
After a disaster-class Star Beast appeared, two other dangerous-level Star Beasts actually appeared.
However, immediately afterward, Xu Ke found something wrong, because the giant serpent and giant turtle that suddenly appeared seemed to confront the giant beetle
"Hahaha!!"
Xu Ke laughed loudly.
"These two dangerous-class star beasts are fools. How dare they face a disaster-class star beast head-on?”
Xu Ke shook his head as if he saw a funny sight, but he suddenly thought of something.
"Although these two dangerous-class beasts are not as terrifying as that behemoth beetle, they don’t look like an average dangerous-class Star Beast. Maybe, they can cause some injuries to that beetle.”
"If all goes well, maybe we will get an amazing harvest this time."
The more he thought about it, the brighter his eyes became.
These two dangerous-class star beasts are already very precious, but that Calamity-class Star Beast far outclass that. Its worth is incalculable. The only thing more precious than it here is that Battlestar.
As long as they can get the bodies of these three monsters...It’s a big fortune
"Come on! Fight to the death, you animals!"
Xu Ke looked at the giant monsters getting closer and closer to each other and couldn’t help but yell loudly.
Soon after, the three behemoths collided together.
It’s almost like two huge planets colliding together.
“Boom!!!”
Although they are far apart and still in an environment like space, when the two dangerous-class star beasts and the disaster-class beetle collided together, Xu Ke almost felt like he heard a loud sound.
This loud noise felt like a heavy hammer, striking on his heart, making him feel stunned.
"What The hell?"
He stared at the screen in front of him with wide eyes.
