Chapter 31: Negotiation BreakDown
🕑 Added 2020-10-03 13:23:43 +0000 UTC"Young dragon! There is some truth to your words! After modifying these stories according to the way you said, it really feels better! Is this what you call a sense of substitution?" Andre said excitedly.
"Yes!" Shillong nodded with a smile.
After adding the role of the righteous metal dragon, the partner of justice, and the powerful helper behind the scenes. This is the soft spot of metal dragons, their preference, how could they not like it?
"Okay! Then let's hurry up and start recording! I feel that I will definitely make a lot of money in the future! Each dragon make pay at least 10 gold coins!”
“That’s perfect, these few years just happen to be the dragon gathering time. Many dragons from outside have come back. Hundreds of dragons, a total of three or four thousand gold coins! Hahahahaha...I'm going to make a fortune!" Andre cried out excitedly.
Three or four thousand gold coins aren’t a small sum even for him.
As nearly an adult golden dragon, he has traveled in the outside world for more than 100 years, and his net worth is only 20,000 or 30,000 gold coins!
Now, making just 10 or 20 movies will be worth more than his 100-year long journey!
Andre couldn’t help but start fantasying about the money he will make in the future. Unconsciously, a bit of drool slipped from the corner of his mouth.
"Three or four thousand gold coins? Your aspirations are too low! The money we can make is much more than that! Don’t forget that we can show these movies to humans outside. That will be our true source of income!”
"Yeah! These movies can also be shown to humans! Those nobles will be very interested! Although they are a bit poor. We can still make a lot of money if we use their large numbers!" The golden light in Andre's eyes can be compared to a lightbulb.
"That’s not what I meant! I’m talking about the civilians! How many nobles are there? Can they be compared to the number of civilians?"
"Civilians? What the hell are thinking, the little dragon? How rich do you think human civilians are? They don't even earn a few gold coins a year, so how can they even pay for the movie?" Andre retorted.
"Then lower the price! You aren’t planning to make them pay a gold coin, right? The advantage of human beings lies in the incalculable number! We only need to charge them one silver coin or less, and we will still make a lot of money! Think about it, based on human beings number, how much do you think we can earn by charging 1 silver coin?" Shillong explained.
"..." Andre's eyes widened, his brain almost froze.
Yes indeed! How many humans are there on the main continent? Apart from the gods, no one can answer this question!
During his journey, he has crossed several countries
Which country’s population is not tens of millions or even over 100 million?
’If everyone really pays a silver coin, then I will truly become the richest dragon in the dragon clan!’
The more he thought about it, the more he got excited. He stepped on all fours and walked to Arman, then suddenly stood up. He stretched his forelimbs and caught Shillong, almost wanting to hug him. Taking a deep breath, he said with an extremely excited look.
"Let’s start shooting the movie! I can’t wait any longer!"
Shillong, who was caught in Andre’s paws did not panic but smiled
"Of course, but we still have a lot of things to do before starting to shoot! For example, the story we’re going to film and how we’re going to divide the earning.”
"Divide our earnings?" Andre paws suddenly stiffened. Right! How could he forget this, they still have to divide the earnings.
With an ugly look on his face, Andre hesitated for a bit before saying
"How about this, I 8, you 2, how? Although you have provided the ideas, I am responsible for providing the audio-visual stone, and for pulling the actors... The most important thing is that I will be the one filming."
"That won't work! Do you want 80% for providing an audio-visual stone? Moreover, you don’t have any experience in shooting movies, and the crew isn’t hard to find on Dragon Island" Shillong also retorted.
"...It's not a question of how much audio-visual stones are worth, you just provided an idea, give you 20% is already due to my generosity. If you switch to a human profiteer outside, they won't give you any money. Maybe they will even catch and sell you as a slave!"
The two dragons negotiated for a long time, and Shillong emphasized the importance of the director in filming to Andre, but still couldn’t convince him.
According to Andre's idea, the director isn’t that important, they just have to reenact the movie according to the story.
So in the end, the negotiation broke down, the two dragons broke up and each went on their own.
Flying in the sky, Arman said angrily to Shillong.
"Shillong, you idiot! Why did you tell that golden dragon such a good idea? Now that guy is going to be our competitor! How good it would be if we did this on our own!”
Arman couldn't understand, how could Shillong, who has always been astute, do such a stupid thing?
Once he noticed the business opportunity at the beginning, he should have directly left, why did he have to try and negotiate with that greedy profiter!
Look at what he has done now! He found a competitor for himself!
"Don't worry! That guy doesn't understand the true meaning of shooting! Isn't it just a competitor? It's fun to have a competition! Making money is only incidental. As soon as an industry appears, many people will follow the trend. No dragon can eat an entire industry alone, so won’t it all have the same result in the end?”
”The true source of the competition is movie quality! With our two brothers join forces, how can we be afraid of anyone?"
Shillong stood on Arman's head, clutching a spike along his spine. Damn silver dragons! There is no good place to sit on their back!
These spikes extending from his neck to his tail along his spine are so annoying!
It’s not comfortable at all!
1-star Rating!
“……”
"What you said makes sense! With me here! No matter what we do, we won't lose!"
After a moment of silence, Arman naturally agreed with Shillong, a look of confidence on his face.
Originally, Shillong was just a bit interested. He has an interest in making movies, not money. So he originally wanted to go with 50-50 with Andre, and even his 50% was originally intended to go for Arman, satisfying his younger brother’s desire for money.
However, Andre vastly underestimated the role of a director.
Although Shillong has never made a movie in his previous life, he has seen a lot! So he does know a bit about a movie’s shooting process, and he remembers every detail of it due to his super memory.
What about the dragons of this world, can they shoot a good movie relying on their experience of watching Avs?
’Don't make laugh!’
Even if he takes 10,000 steps back and says that Andre can shoot a good movie. It doesn’t really matter to Shillong, he doesn’t care about money nearly as much as other dragons
A large part of his movie-making plan is to make movies popular in this world. He can’t wait for the day where countless movies and other entertainment emerge in this world.
In this way, after reaching old age, he can retire and become an otaku dragon with peace of mind. Won’t the days of watching movies every day be good?
He just wants to develop the entertainment section of this world to the level of the Blue Planet! This is his goal for now!
This boring world without entertainment must be changed! Completely changed!
He won't allow this world to go further and further on the evil path that only knows the use of violence!
Enjoying entertainment! This is what this world should be about!
Next, Shillong and Arman searched for other dragons in the sky.
Although Dragon Island is very large, there are numerous dragons here. Soon after, Arman saw a young silver dragon whose’s silver scales reflected psychedelic colors in the sun.
His snow-white dragon beard floated gently along with the gentle breeze, and his mercury-like pupils were extremely pure!
Seeing the appearance of this dragon, the word handsome appeared in Shillong’s mind.
Shillong, who has partly inherited the aesthetics of the dragon clan, felt that this dragon is very handsome
Mentioning for Arman to approach him, the two dragons got closer. In the next second, Arman shouted.
"Brother, do you have an audio-video stone? Can you sell us one?"
"What!? Audio-Video Stone?"
The young silver dragon was startled, then looked a little flustered.
"I don't! I don't have it! Look for other dragons! I don't watch that kind of perverted thing! I don't know what an Audia-Visual stone is, Goodbye!"
After finishing, the silver dragon fled with a panicked look on his face.
