However, space battles don't just rely on who’s equipment or weapons are more advanced, but more of a combination of that, the pilot’s skills, luck, and more.
At this moment, the warlord fighters relied on continuous large-scale steering, avoiding the laser rain released by the enemy Blue Birds fighters.
Laser cannons are very powerful, fast, and accurate, but they have a fatal weakness, they can’t change their course, nor can they track the enemy like missiles.
Therefore, avoiding the attacks of this type of weapon isn’t impossible for experienced pilots. In fact, a large-scale turn while moving is enough to avoid the attacks of the lasers. A good sense of timing and precognition is required though.
Of course, this is easy to say, but very difficult to do. The speed of space fighters is incredibly high. The pressure that the space fighter and the pilot need to endure while executing a sudden turn is immense. Not everyone can do it.
Coupled with the fact that the enemy fighter is clinging to them, the warlord fighters must continue to make a sharp turn to prevent the enemy from locking them. This requires incredibly high skills and speed from the pilot.
Fortunately, humans’ physical fitness now is superhuman by the old era standard, not to mention that the warlord fighters pilots are the elites of the elite. Each one of them had undergone harsh training beyond the imagination of ordinary people, hence they could hold in such a disadvantaged situation.
"Huh?"
Inside the giant spaceship in Red Coral, Jordan looked at the 3D projection in front of him with a surprised look. He was shocked by the incredible operations of human pilots.
"Which civilization do these guys come from?"
A look of interest appeared in his eyes. Pilots with this level of skill, experience, and physical fitness generally belong to the army of large scale civilizations
However, this group of people doesn’t seem to be from a large civilization.
"Commander Tang, the enemy's pilots are amateurs, but their space fighters are too advanced.”
Dr. He came to Tang Guo's said. He looked a little jealous of the opponent's Blue Bird and White Swan space fighters.
If they had the same equipment, he believes that their pilots would absolutely crush their pilots.
"Command Tang, what should we do now?"
A staff member turned his head and looked at Tang Guo who was standing in front of the main screen. They no longer had space fighters to protect them.
However, the pirates also have their main ship unprotected.
Their space cargo ship is currently moving at a relatively slow speed. Looking at it from far away, it looked almost like it wasn’t moving.
"Increase the speed and continue moving forward!"
Tang Guo pondered for a moment, then loudly said.
The staff in the command room were taken aback. If they increased their speed, they would soon collide with the giant pirate spaceship ahead. That might go badly depending on the structural integrity of the pirates’ spaceship.
However, no one raised any question or objection but turned back to operate on the console, seriously executing the order that was given to them.
A giant flame spewed out from the stern of the cargo spaceship. The next moment, it galloped forward at an unimaginable speed. At the same time, the energy shield on the cargo ship was activated, and all the weapons were put on a standby state.
As long as there is a chance, they will immediately launch a devastating attack.
"Master Jordan, this team’s cargo ship is quickly moving towards us.”
Inside the Red Coral’s main spaceship, a man reported to Jordan. Jordan, who was watching the 3D projection, immediately frowned upon hearing this report.
"They dare to attack us? I originally wanted to keep the people in that cargoship alive, but that doesn’t seem necessary anymore.”
"Kill them immediately."
Tang Guo’s cargo ship resolutely flew forward. Suddenly, a dense light beam net flew from the pirate’s main spaceship, landing straight on their energy shield.
However, Tang Guo and the others still continued moving forward while braving the enemy’s firepower. About half a minute later, they have already narrowed the distance between them and the pirates’ main ship by half.
At this time, the energy shield of the cargo space ship was about to collapse.
However, Tang Guo and her crew were still unfazed. Their super laser cannons on their killer weapons like the turbo laser cannons are all in a state of standby. As long as the energy shield is destroyed, they will immediately use them to launch a counterattack.
Laser cannons aren’t like ordinary missiles or artillery shells, which can be intercepted. The only way to defend against laser cannons is by using a very strong shield, like the energy shield.
Their firepower isn’t low, so the opponent will have to deactivate some of their weapons, then turn on the energy shield to defend against their attacks.
This will give them enough time to get closer to the enemy’s main ship. At that time, even if these pirates use their laser cannons to destroy their cargo ship, they will be close enough.
The fragments of the cargo ship will cause great damage to the enemy’s main ship under inertia.
Tang Guo was betting, betting that the enemy ahead doesn’t have the guts to play such a dangerous game with her.
Jordan is not a fool. He quickly understood Tang Guo's plan. Seeing the cargoship continuing to move forward while attacking them with laser cannons, he couldn't sit still.
"Damn it, turn around, let's go."
He isn’t planning to directly blast Tang Guo’s cargo ship anymore. He is going to use their main ship speed and fighters to constantly harass the cargoship until they lose their mobility.
"Command Tang, they dodged."
The pirate ship stopped attacking then, then quickly moved from that area.
"Use all of our weapons to attack them!."
The speed of the space cargo ship has increased to the extreme, trying its best to catch up with the pirate’s main ship. At the same time, their laser cannons kept firing at them, keeping their energy shield activated.
Right now, Tang Guo’s space cargo ship seemed to have the upper hand when facing the pirates’ main ship.
However, this is only temporary. As long as they open a certain distance between them, the pirates will definitely launch a fierce counterattack.
A cargo ship whose energy shield has already collapsed won’t be able to withstand such a fierce bombardment.
At that time, because the distance increased a lot, even if the cargo ship explodes, the debris wouldn’t be able to cause damage to Jordan’s spaceship.
Tang Guo and the others naturally knew this. While chasing the pirates’ main ship, she was giving instructions to the pilots of the Warlord space fighter plane to pull out from the battlefield and prepare to evacuate.
While they chased the pirates’ spaceship, the hyperspace engine was already gathering energy, preparing to jump in space.
Of course, the chances of their plan succeeding are very small. After all, when the hyperspace engine is activated, its signs are very obvious, and it’s also the time when the space jump is the most easily interrupted.
The pirates will definitely not let them go.
Under the intentional guidance of Tang Guo, the battlefield area expanded more and more.
Of course, their current situation is becoming more and more unfavorable. Ten of their twenty warlord space fighters have already exploded, that is to say, half of their space fighters have been lost. On the other side, the Pirates have only lost one Blue Bird space fighter.
This was because they underestimated their pilots at first and got hit, but this never happened again.
Tang Guo and the others got farther and farther away from the pirates’ main ship. Suddenly, waves of space distortion appeared around the cargo ship, this is the sign of the beginning of a space jump.
"Damn it, they are going to make a space jump!"
Jordan immediately knew that he had been fooled. With an annoyed look on his face, he shouted loudly.
“Attack! don't let them escape!"
The raging firepower poured on Tang Guo’s cargoship again. The intense firepower directly penetrated the crumbling energy shield and landed on the body of the space cargo ship.
Various parts of the space cargo ship exploded and its rear was directly destroyed, interrupting the process of the space jump.
"We failed."
Tang Guo smiled bitterly. After taking a deep breath, she said.
"Attack with all your strength, comrades, today we may all have to fall here."
No one on the spacecraft complained or cried, the staff silently controlled the spacecraft to continuously attack the pirates’ main spaceship. They executed their commander’s orders until the end without even raising a complaint, showcasing their complete trust and willingness to die along with her.
Their super Laser cannons and turbo laser cannons fiercely launched projectiles towards the enemy.
However, the pirates’ main spaceship activated its energy shield on time, allowing it to easily withstand these fierce attacks
After enduring this wave of attacks, Jordan’s spaceship deactivated their energy shield and launched several fierce attacks towards Tang Guo’s cargo ship.
Their energy shield has collapsed long, The hull was also severely damaged. They couldn't avoid these attacks at all. In the command room, Tang Guo smiled bitterly. She wasn’t able to avoid her fate after all. She’s still going to die here after all.
"Hahahaha, I’ll show you the end of those that dare to fight against me!"
Jordan looked at the severely damaged cargo ship ahead and laughed triumphantly.
Right at that moment, before the arc on his face could fully expand, it suddenly stagnated. At this moment, in the area between their spaceship and the cargo ship ahead, space suddenly started twisting. In the next moment, two behemoths suddenly appeared
“Roar!!!!”
One of the two behemoths suddenly raised its head and roared loudly.
