-----------------------
If it weren’t for their poor strength, they would have gained a lot more. After all, when the folding space had just exploded, they were in the central area. Sure enough, they encountered two planet-destroyer spaceship wrecks. Unfortunately, they were stolen from them.
However, following that trend, if they stayed in the central area, they would have a much more significant harvest.
Dr. He did not object to Tang Guo's order. He also doesn’t want to take any more risks. He’s also not the type to be greedy for military credit or fame. So Tang Guo’s crew left the folded space area and started their return journey
However, like all the cliché plots, their departure was not so smooth. On the third day, Tang Guo’s space cargo ship received some strange electromagnetic fluctuations, it’s almost like the fluctuations released by a spaceship as it moves in space, and it’s getting closer.
"We might have been targeted."
Tang Guo stood in the command room and gave instructions to the twenty warlord space fighters.
"Attention everyone, Attention everyone. Alert! enemy attack! enemy attack!”
"All warlord fighters, enter the battle-ready state!.”
In such situations when the enemy is unknown, the space fighters must be given the greatest degree of freedom to allow them to perform freely. As for the space cargo ship, it has an energy shield and is equipped with sufficient firepower, so it’s not entirely reliant on the warlord fighters.
There are 60 super laser cannons on the space cargo ship, and also 2 turbo laser cannons they got from another place. It has high firepower itself.
"The electromagnetic fluctuations are getting more and more intense. They are approaching us."
In the command room, Tang Guo's face looked ugly. Now, her only hope is that the incoming enemy is just an ordinary pirate or a gold-digging team. With their firepower, they should be able to safely deal with them.
However, if it’s the team of some large consortia of powerful civilization... Just as Tang Guo was feeling anxious, several beams of light appeared in the distance.
It’s a team spaceship
At the same time, from their communication equipment, a voice speaking the Milky Way universal language, that is the SkyRiver Empire language, sounded.
“Ladies and gentlemen, stop, you are being targeted by the red coral. Give up resistance and we’ll allow you to continue living."
Hearing the voice from the communication equipment, Tang Guo's complexion changed.
"Red coral?!"
She had been in the Central Continent for a while. She learned about a lot of the powerful and note-worthy powers and groups in the nearby area.
Red Coral is a very powerful pirate group. They are very hard to deal with and especially slippery, making it very hard for the local security force to deal with them.
"I’ll count to three, if you don’t stop, we’ll launch an attack"
An arrogant voice, casually issuing a threat sounded from the communication equipment.
"Hoof. Let’s see if they’ll stop now."
Inside a huge spaceship, Jordan was holding a cup of tea and looking at the scene on the display screen. On the screen, there was exactly the image of Tang Guo’s team moving forward.
"Young Master Jordan, after hearing Red Coral's name, they must be probably peeing their pants in fright."
Besides Jordan, one of his subordinates said.
"Hehe, I hope this team won't let me down. The two teams that we robbed before didn't have anything, which was very disappointing. They deserved their death"
Jordan complained, then said with a wicked grin.
"I hope they can resist a bit. I just happen to be a bit interested in playing with them;”
“Young master Jordan, it won’t be easy for you to enjoy. This team won’t even stand a few strikes from our turbo laser cannons before collapsing."
Hearing that, Jordan shook his head. If it was that simple, he would have long sunk this team, but he can’t attack before asking them to surrender first.
This is the rule set by his father.
It’s exactly because of the many rules he needs to adhere to while following his father that he led a team of his own and left. Of course, he still needs to follow some basic rules, or he will face a spanking upon returning.
"Command Tang, what shall we do now?"
In the command room, Tang Guo was panicking a bit. She looked at the people in the command room expectantly waiting for her order and felt deep pressure.
Only after taking a deep breath was she able to calm down.
"Old Zhou, scan the enemy spacecraft."
Tang Guo's mind gradually became clearer.
"It's best to find out the type of the enemy’s spacecraft and roughly calculate their strength."
The Red Coral Pirates aren’t weak. Logically speaking, they shouldn't be wandering in this remote area. With their strength, they have the qualification to go to the central area to compete for the resources there.
Of course, that is as long as they can avoid the SkyRiver Empire and the other powerful civilizations;
In addition, from her previous observations. There shouldn’t be that many spaceships in this fleet, so it’s either a small team separated from the Red Coral or some other pirates posing as them.
"Command Tang, the enemy has a total of 18 spacecraft, one of which is especially large. It should be their main ship"
The people in the command room also calmed down.
"There are two types of battleships in the enemy’s team. The Blue Bird type and the White Swan type. They have ten Blue Birds and seven White Swans."
"Of these two small battleship types, Blue Bird is smaller, with four super laser cannons mounted on it. It has a machine gun-type attack as it can shoot hundreds of laser beams in just a few seconds.”
"The White Swan is a heavy-type battleship. It’s equipped with two which C-grade turbo laser cannons. The energy of inside this type of battleship can typically allow it to shoot 20 laser beams, each of which has heavy destructive power.”
Hearing what old Zhou said, Tang Guo fell deep in her thoughts, they have the advantage over the enemy in terms of numbers, but the combat effectiveness of their fighters is much lower than that of theirs.
The White Swan Battleship especially gave Tang Guo a lot of pressure.
"Commander Tang?"
The people in the command room all looked at Tang Guo, awaiting her orders. After a few seconds of silence, Tang Guo suddenly raised her head and looked at everyone.
"Old Zhou, convey my orders. Everyone, prepare for battle!."
Listen to Tang Guo’s orders, everyone suddenly smiled.
The Blue Planet Federation and humans overall have experienced too many things, the invasion of mutant and ancient creatures, the kaiju, the deadly virus, the death of their previous planet, the infected aliens, the giant sea monsters, the pathogen, then the SkyRiver Empire...
Under such circumstances, they have continuously overcome each predicament, surviving under extreme pressure and forging a steel will. As long as it doesn’t cause irreversible consequences, they usually prefer to face each crisis they encounter head-on!
"Send a message to these pirates: Immediately get out of our way. If you continue to block our road, we will be forced to break out with firepower.”
While saying this, she had a solemn expression, a look of firmness and determination shone in her eyes.
She can't just give the harvest they worked so hard for so easily. She naturally understands the truth of bullying the soft and fearing the hard. If they hand out their harvest so easily now, they will look nothing more than a prey easy to bully.
If they can’t even deal with such a small pirate, then how are they going to fulfill their ultimate goal of eventually ruling the galaxy and spreading Ouroboros image to every corner?
If the other party really attacks them, she believes that she can also scrap pieces of flesh off them. She’ll let them know that their Blue Planet Federation isn’t easy to provoke.
The twenty warlord space fighters around the space cargo ship immediately dispersed after a slight movement. They sent a message to the opposing pirates, then quickly spread around it.
"Huh?"
"Hahahaha!! Intersting!"
In the command room, Jordan had a look of surprise on his face as he heard the message sent to him by Old Zhou. After a moment of silence, he burst out into laughter.
"Attention Everyone, prepare for battle!"
"Destroy all those space fighters, but don’t destroy the space cargo ship. I have to personally go over and see, who has the courage to oppose us after hearing the Red Coral Name."
A look of interest appeared on Jordan's face. Just after his order was issued, their space fighters also started moving, flying out and confronting the Warlord space fighters.
In the command room of the cargo spaceship, Tang Guo tensed up after seeing the space fighters of the enemy move. It wasn’t just her, but the majority of the people in the command room as well.
