Chapter 388: Captured Team
🕑 Added 2020-10-13 22:58:54 +0000 UTC1/6 chapter, enjoy.
----------------------------
The resident human population on Earth is about 8 billion, accounting for more than half of the total human population. This is natural, as the Earth is the central planet of the Federation. Many high-tech industries and advanced academic research institutes are placed on this planet.
Earth Guard 3 is still revolving around the earth. This small planet also has a sizeable population, but nowhere near as big as the earth
Many forts have been built on this planet to protect the Earth.
There are also two other planets not far from the Earth, both of which were drawn to the vicinity of the earth by the Federation using planetary engines. The two new planets aren’t far from Earth Guard 3, as a trip from one to the other takes less than a day. That’s without mentioning the wormholes connecting them.
One of the two new planets is used as a residence for human beings, while the other planet is used for farming.
The ‘Great Will’ has long since left the Earth, but many infected creatures and giant monsters are left behind by it. These giant monsters are very beneficial for humans, hence many companies are raising them for profit, just like cattle.
In the high-tech field, The Earth doesn’t lose to the Red Sun base at all, in fact, it’s more advanced in quite a few areas.
The Red Sun Base basically only conducts research on space fighters and cargo ships, while the Earth is conducting research on all aspects of high-tech. Even on the aspects of space fighters and cargo ships, the Earth is as advanced as the Red Sun base.
Although the Red Sun Base has first-hand data, these data will be sent to the earth without reservation. There are many more people and resources here, making it easier to conduct research.
For example, Although the Red Sun base has developed swordfish fighters, the Earth isn’t lagging behind, it has also developed a new type of space fighter, the Ruler.
This space fighter has almost the same type of specifications as the swordfish. In fact, it even has a slightly higher overall performance.
At the same time, they also developed a new type of cargo ship, The gourmet.
This kind of cargo ship is extremely large, being over thirty kilometers long.
It’s equipped with 30 turbo laser cannons, 180 super laser cannons, and a complete energy shield. Its firepower is very fierce. In fact, it almost has the power of a space fortress. Its only drawback is that it’s a bit bulky and has a weak defense, not counting the energy shield.
Despite its huge size, they don’t need to worry about the energy issue. In fact, due to its size and composition, they can put enough energy units on it.
It’s precisely because they developed this cargo ship that the elders dared to confidently talk about building a planet-destroyer spaceship.
Tang Guo’s fleet docked their cargo and battleships in the space harbor next to the earth.
In the endless dark space, there is an azure planet slowly moving forward, it’s orbited by a nearby small planet and two other planets farther away.
It’s surrounded by thousands of space fortresses made from meteorites, with many giant docking stations located near each planet. There are countless spaceships coming and going, with each one looking very advanced.
This scene looked very spectacular from afar. Far more majestic and amazing than any sci-fi movie.
When Fang Yun saw this, he became even more sure of his guess. The future of humans is promising.
“Woah!!!!!!”
The people on Earth also discovered Tang Guo and Fang Yun's arrival. After confirming Fang Yun's identity, all humans on the Earth fell into a carnival.
Seeing these cute people, Fang Yun nodded in approval. He wandered around in the orbit of the earth. This is his way of saying hello to the people on the earth. After a while, he headed towards an empty piece of space, preparing to rest here.
The reason why he came back with Tang Guo this time was that he had nothing to do in the Red Sun base and that Tang Guo is about to become an elder.
After many discussions between the elders of the council, they decided to appoint Tang Guo as the ninth elder of the elders’ council. The eighth elder is naturally Fang Yun.
Currently, he is considered as the official eight elder. A member of the most powerful people in the Federation
Of course, he doesn't care about this at all.
The giant turtle, Xuan Wu also followed Fang Yun back here. He was also very excited too. It took a stroll around the earth, then headed to the other two habitable planets.
Fang Yun started dozing off.
Right Now, he doesn't need to do anything deliberately, his reputation value is quickly increasing, so he can finally have some time to relax.
However, he did not sleep in space all the time. He wakes up occasionally, then heads off to some remote areas to eat a lot of meteorites, before coming back and continuing to sleep.
In such a repetitive fashion, time quickly flew.
If it was in the past, Fang Yun wouldn’t really feel the passage of time in the endless dark space, but now next to the earth, he can really feel the changes of time.
Every time he opens his eyes, he could see the rapid changes on the earth.
………..
Seven years have passed since he returned to the Earth.
Fang Yun's level has reached 78, but he didn’t get any new skill. It’s still not the time yet.
His reputation value has also increased from 30 billion to 35 billion.
Originally Fang Yun was planning to continue sleeping, but Tang Guo found him, asking for his assistance in solving a troublesome matter.
The Federation is taking the Earth as the central base and building wormholes to radiate their influence around. They have many expedition teams outside.
The matter is that one of the expedition teams had a problem.
This team is exploring a starfield 10 light-years away from the Earth. They are looking for a planet that is suitable for survival or has a source stone mine.
This team is called the Black Crow.
The black crow team is composed of 35 people. They have a C-class cargo spaceship, only around five kilometers long and equipped with few weapons, but it has a hyperspace engine.
During their expedition, they encountered a fleet that quickly captured the Black Crows, only to discover that they are the human race wanted by the Empire.
It’s worth mentioning that after the star beast tide has ended, all interstellar civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy have received the wanted order issued by the SkyRiver Empire.
They all know that there is a race called humans wanted by the Empire.
The fleet the black crows encountered belongs to a huge conglomerate. In the face of their powerful spaceships, they had absolutely no power to resist, but they still passed the message back through some means.
This incident immediately attracted Tang Guo and the elders’ attention. If their traces were to be exposed to the Empire now, their situation will be very bad.
They are ten light-years away from the Black Crows location. Such distance might look huge at first glance, but for a civilization like the SkyRiver Empire, it’s not difficult to find a higher-civilization in such an area. It will just take some time.
Besides, what if they managed to pry their location from the mouths of the Black Crow team.
Tang Guo suddenly thought of Fang Yun.
Although the Black Crow team sent back a distress message, it’s very brief and carries very little information. They aren’t sure about the power of that fleet, so for the safety of their civilization, Tang Guo can only rely on Fang Yun.
Of course, Fang Yun didn't have any objection, he is idle anyway.
He led a fleet and set off. Tang Guo didn't go with him this time, She is the ninth elder of the council of elders now. She has a respected position and has a lot of things to deal with every day. Naturally, it’s impossible to go with Fang Yun on an adventure anymore.
After a few space jumps, Fang Yun and the Earth fleet reached the coordinate sent by the Black Crow team. After reaching the place, they quickly scanned the area around, but they didn’t find anything.
Looking at the empty space in front of him, Fang Yun suddenly released electromagnetic fluctuation, which moved at the speed of light, quickly spreading in the area around.
After a few minutes, he finally locked a position and hurriedly flew over there.
Soon enough, a fleet appeared in front of him.

I finally figured out how to fix the style problem, I will fix it for the other chapters soon enough.
