🕑 Added 2020-10-12 23:21:53 +0000 UTC6/6 chapter, enjoy.
Sorry for the delay.
---------------------------
Fang Yun has become a target of public opinion. Many people are thinking about how to kill this behemoth. This is definitely a disaster-level star beast. This is what the Empire’s officials have proclaimed.
This giant serpent can tank a turbo laser cannon’s strike with ease. Moreover, many people have seen it casually kill and devour a dangerous-class star beast almost as big as it.
There’s no doubt that that Giant Serpent is definitely a disaster-class star beast.
Even in a star beast tide, it’s rare to see a disaster-class star beast. They are mostly in the center of the beast tide, hence in an area like the central continent that is far from the beast tide’s center, it’s rare to see a behemoth of such a level.
More importantly, most disaster-level star beasts have the ability to lead weaker star beasts.
It is precisely because of this that even if the people in the Central Continent are itching with hatred, they have never acted against him, fearing to provoke him and cause some major disaster to the Central Continent.
However, the situation has finally changed.
The star beast tide is almost over. Anyway, the vicinity of the central continent has become much more empty. The unique electromagnetic waves created as a result of star beast howling have become much more scarce.
Finally, a weird incident occurred, making the people in the Central Continent firm their idea of killing the giant serpent. Furthermore, It was also due to this incident that the Blue Planet Federation was put on the kill list by the SkyRiver Empire.
The incident occurred like this...
Tang Guo and her fleet had occupied the ironstone-z2 planet a few years ago. The source stone mine there had already been dug up by them, garnering them great wealth.
However, this isn’t the end, in fact, it’s just the beginning. After emptying the ironstone planet, they captured three more planets with source stone mines, excavating all the source stones on them one after the other.
A few days ago, just as they were about to occupy another planet. An accident suddenly occurred, a fleet suddenly appeared not far from the planet. They are the original masters of that planet.
At that time, they took a trip to assess how many star beasts are next to their planet and whether they can reoccupy this planet at that time.
However, when reached that place, they just happened to see the scene where Fang Yun and Tang Guo’s fleet massacring all the star beasts there.
Especially when Fang Yun unfolded his energy field, he was immediately identified as a pathogen, and Tang Guo and her fleet were undoubtedly regarded as infected intelligent creatures under his control.
This news was quickly sent back to the Central Continent, causing an uproar. The Empire’s officials took it very seriously.
The giant serpent is actually a pathogen, and it should one that is at least third-class.
Of course, they also recognized Fang Yun from his previous endeavors.
A few years ago, he fought with another third-class pathogen, and it looked like the giant serpent actually had an advantage.
At the beginning, they all thought Fang Yun was a terrifying and rare type of star beasts, seeing as the pathogen detection equipment didn’t respond, but it looks like they were wrong after all.
The giant serpent, just like that golden behemoth is a third-class Pathogen.
As for why their detection equipment did not respond before, it should be due to concealment means used by the giant serpent. They don’t really know a lot of Pathogens so it’s not impossible.
Fang Yun and Tang Guo were caught completely off guard this time. With the smooth capture of the 4 previous planets, they never expected that such a big incident would happen while they were on the verge of capturing the fifth one.
The situation became particularly terrible. The Empire issued wanted orders for not only Fang Yun, but even for Tang Guo and her crew. In fact, shortly after, the situation headed for the worse as the SkyRiver Empire even issued wanted orders for the Federation and even the humanity.
The SkyRiver Empire officers captured the intelligence personnel on the central continent and imprisoned them.
After analyzing the bodies of the intelligence personnel. They set a special classification for them and their race. That is, they classified the particular genes and DNA of the human race.
Now, all intelligent creatures from that classification are set as a wanted target.
Things went for the worse after all.
"Elder Lu Yuan, sorry, this time it was my negligence."
Tang Guo apologized to Lu Yuan in the command room of the main ship. She didn't expect that the relationship between them and Fang Yun would be exposed in this way. The worst way possible.
"Commander Tang, I’m also to blame, I was too greedy."
Lu Yuan sighed. He was the one urging them to capture as many source stone mines as possible, then exchange them for high-tech materials.
Seeing the rapid increase in the strength of the Federation has made him happier, but also more impatient and greedy.
Apart from the protective measures they took when capturing the first 2 planets, they acted very carelessly.
It's a pity that regret can’t fix anything now.
Obviously, the star beast tide started receding, but not only didn’t they stop, they didn’t even set an early warning ship, leading to this situation.
This situation is even worse than the one when the planet-destroyer spaceship Elvira landed on the Earth and was destroyed a while ago
The Empire didn’t know that that incident was related to the Federation, hence humans could confidently show in front of other civilizations, but now it’s different.
All of their intelligence personnel were captured, hence they will immediately be noticed when they reappear in the future. After all, as human beings, their physiological characteristics are still very different from other intelligent races.
"Fortunately, this time we got many varieties of technology. These technologies are enough for us to digest for a few years or decades. We will talk about other things later."
After pondering for a while, Lu Yuan felt that the problem isn’t as big as it looks. In peacetime, the strength of civilization won’t quickly increase. Only under pressure and the threat of death can a civilization make huge strides.
Only after digesting the technology they got and raising their own technological level will they consider dealing with this issue.
Tang Guo also agreed with Lu Yuan's statement. She finally felt a little better.
Outside the main ship, Fang Yun leisurely followed the fleet. He has no psychological burden on this incident. In fact, he is still quite happy.
Because just not long ago, his reputation value has reached 30 billion and the system awarded him 19 skill points. So far, he has 116 skill points.
He immediately used 100 skill points to max out "Cell Distortion".
Now this skill, used at max power, can instantly reduce a dangerous-level star beast into an old corpse. Their resistance is futile in front of this skill.
This is extremely shocking as, not counting their resistance and cell activity, these behemoths all have a life span of thousands of years.
Intelligent creatures with a lifespan of less than a thousand-year have no resistance in front of this skill. Apart from finding an insulator that can defend against this skill, they have no other way to resist.
It’s precisely because he knew his own lethality against intelligent creatures that Fang Yun didn't care about the SkyRiver Empire’s wanted order.
Right now, he needs to escort Tang Guo and her fleet back to the "Red Sun Base". His plan of causing trouble and earning reputation points can only be suspended for now.
After all, the human race is his partner, and their potential is extremely high! Every year their population is increasing like a rocket, not to mention their crazily increasing scientific and technological strength.
They went from a pre-nuclear civilization to a pseudo-galactical civilization in less than 200 years. This is insane, considering that other civilizations required tens of thousands of years of development to have the same achievement.
They are already on the verge of becoming an advanced civilization, and their potential is still far from getting burnt out.
In fact, it’s worth desperately protecting them just for their increasing population.
He is far from old age, he still has more than 300 years to live, enough for the Federation to increase their population to 100 billion, then help him get the required points for the next bloodline evolution.
Soon after, Fang Yun, Tang Guo, and her fleet returned to the Red Sun Base.
However, they didn’t stop there for long. A few days later, he followed Tang Guo and started their return journey back to the earth.
The current Earth is even more prosperous than the Red Sun Base. Even its technology advances are more powerful than the Red Sun Base.
“It’s been a long time…”
When Fang Yun walked out of the hyperspace, his gaze immediately fell on the earth. He inexplicably felt happy upon seeing this nostalgic planet.
