-----------------------
The intelligence personnel brought a lot of news to Tang Guo, including the distribution of the source stone mines near the Central Continent and the general distribution of the star beasts nearby.
Besides, they also got some technical information.
More and more cutting-edge technologies are flowing out in the black market during this period, most of which are brought out by some researchers in some Central Continent’s research institutes.
Currently, chaos and unrest started to appear throughout the entire Central Continent as the future remains unclear, so the management of those research institutes is becoming increasingly loose. Some researchers even started selling private materials to make extra profit.
Tang Guo conveyed a serious order to the intelligence personnel. As long as there is such technical information flowing out, they must try their best to buy them.
There are a few reasons as to why she has such confidence. In addition to the source stone they brought, they also occupied a source stone mine nearby.
This source stone mine is located on a planet. This planet is called Ironstone-z2. This planet is not suitable for the survival of living creatures, but there is a huge source stone mine on it.
Moreover, there are still many high-quality source stones in this source mine.
When Tang Guo and her crew first discovered this place, it was surrounded by more than a hundred Star Beast. Most of them were solved by Fang Yun, while the rest died under the laser cannons of Tang Guo’s fleet.
Time quietly passed.
For the people in the Central Continent, their recent life is very intense and exciting. The electromagnetic waves released by the Central Continent stopped the majority of the star beasts, but for the more powerful ones, electromagnetic waves can hardly stop their advancement.
Furthermore, most of the powerful star beasts have a very big pack of subordinates.
Whenever these creatures appear, the defensive laser cannon above the central continent will be activated, frantically blasting these pesky guys.
Of course, the Central Continent’s forces aren't just holding their defense. Many fleets often go into space near the continent to hunt a large number of star beasts.
They laid countless ambushes and traps in the starry sky, such as placing high-energy grenades in some energy ore then sending them to star beasts to eat. Finally exploding them with a boom, reaping the lives of countless behemoths.
This method has been tested many times, proving effective almost 90% of the time.
This is also the reason why people are still traveling to the Central Continent. It’s not only because of the current opportunities but also due to the fact that the situation there is still under control.
While the Central Continent is getting increasingly lively, the situation was relatively calm for Tang Guo and Fang Yun, especially Fang Yun.
After helping Tang Guo occupy that source stone mine, he has been quietly staying aside, guarding Tang Guo’s fleet.
Tang Guo’s subordinates are digging the source stone mine with all their strength, then transporting these source stones back to the Central Continent, to exchange for some high-level technologies.
Humans urgently need many types of technologies as their time of rising is too short.
Fortunately, time is on their side. Maybe in a few years, they can use these high-tech devices as a base to innovate and make their own technology.
Most of the things they got aren't basic tech, but blueprints. They want to understand the internals of the corresponding technology and learn how to make it, not just blindly use it.
They want to be more than just simple consumers. They want to be producers.
…………
Time quickly flew and five years have passed.
The situation in the Central Continent remains the same but both Fang Yun and Tang Guo had a great gain.
The new technologies and blueprints that Tang Guo and her crew obtained from the central continent have brought technological innovations one after another to the Red Sun Base. One of their greatest achievements is that they can make turbo laser cannons now! Albeit weaker ones.
At the same time, they managed to reduce their space fighters’ size to 30 meters.
At the Red Sun Base, a space fighter named "Swordfish" is being produced. Most of the Warlord series space fighters are going to be sent to the earth for further development and upgrade.
The swordfish fighter has the following characteristics.
The 30-meter fuselage is small, natural, and compact. Although it’s still a bit bigger compared to other advanced space fighters, it’s still very good, basically at the mid-range level.
In addition to greatly reducing its size, they upgraded its power unit to a more advanced one, drastically increasing the space fighter’s speed.
The maximum speed of the Swordfish space fighter is a shocking 1/20 or 5% of the speed of light. Which is 15,000 km/s.
The weapons on board have also undergone major changes. Two turbo laser cannons, four super laser cannons, and an energy shield. Furthermore, its energy devices are more compact and more efficient.
The creation of the Swordfish space fighter made the Red Sun base’s inhabitants very happy and excited. One aspect of their military forces has truly reached the level of advanced civilizations!
The council of elders even sent them a message saying that the Earth First Research Institute is in the midst of studying a planet destroyer battleship.
If the Earth First Research Institute really builds a Planet-Destroyer, then, the Federation would have truly stepped into the rank of advanced civilizations. They can confidently hold themselves against anyone, apart from the SkyRiver Empire.
The consecutive good news caused Fang Yun to be very excited.
He eagerly hoped that the Federation become stronger and stronger, become the Milky Way’s overlord as soon as possible, then expand outwards and spread his reputation.
It’s worth mentioning that the number of humans has skyrocketed in the past 5 years, reaching almost 15 billion, which is truly terrifying and unprecedented.
The government is greatly encouraging people to have children, creating many policies and laws beneficial to people with more children.
Furthermore, humans aren’t participating in any war nor are they facing any danger, hence people are currently feeling safe and at ease, causing them to be more open to conceiving and raising the next generation.
Due to the increasing number of humans, Fang Yun's reputation is about to reach 30 billion. Such a sharp increase in reputation is not just due to the increasing number of humans, it’s also related to Fang Yun's occasional appearance in the Central Continent in recent years.
There are also tens of billions of intelligent creatures on the Central Continent. Fang Yun sometimes appears in the atmosphere of the central continent before quickly disappearing, garnering him a lot of reputation.
Due to his huge size and extremely strong defense, capable of withstanding the turbo laser beams sent by the defense team, every time Fang Yun appears, all intelligent creatures in the Central Continent will feel afraid.
Fortunately, Fang Yun only circles around then leave. He didn’t act like other star beasts, who are always aggressively heading towards the central continent with the intention to murder.
Even after this happened multiple times, the people in the Central Continent stopped attacking Fang Yun, so as to not anger this behemoth.
However, Fang Yun's existence isn’t completely harmless. He has greatly annoyed the intelligent creatures on the Central Continent, as he always likes to snatch their trophies.
"This is really annoying."
On the Central Continent, an official sent from the Empire said.
"I think we should find a way to get rid of that monster. We are like its nanny, giving it breakfast every day."
No matter what type of Star Beast it is, as long as it’s killed by the central continent defense layer, it will be promptly stolen by that giant serpent.
Unless that giant serpent is not present, then even if they spend a lot of effort to hunt a star beast, they won’t be able to get its body.
Not only that, even in the space outside the central continent, the giant serpent is still robbing the prey of the independent forces fleets.
The discussion on how to deal with Fang Yun became more and more intense, especially as the number of star beasts became scarce as time went on.
