Chapter 33: The First Act
🕑 Added 2020-10-10 15:10:22 +0000 UTCBack on the Blue Planet, it takes months or even years to make a movie.
The reason why this is so is that the audience there has already experienced the baptism of all kinds of bad movies, so they have extremely high requirements for quality.
There are also various scene transitions that take a lot of time, traveling around various locations, and even factors such as the fatigue of the actors themselves and the production of special effects in the later stage.
However, these metal dragons are different. They are always full of energy, and daily rest is not necessary.
They can fly by themselves, so changing the venue is not an issue. No special effects are needed in the later stage, each dragon is a natural magician, so they can make the special effects themselves!
Combining all of this, Shillong can assert that the team's filming efficiency will definitely be very shocking!
With four dragons gathered together, and with the necessary audio-visual stone, Shillong started considering what film to shoot next.
To be honest, in this world, the stories that Andre gave to him were boring and extremely unoriginal, but they are famous and extremely popular stories in this world.
In Shillong's view, 90% of those classic movies from Shillong's previous life are incompatible with this world.
First of all, urban dramas with modern backgrounds are basically impossible to remake.
For example, China’s box office champion, Wolf Warrior!
How do could they remake this military theme movie with a modern background?
Does this world even have tanks? There are guns, but they are nothing more than a toy to any juvenile dragon.
After all, the power of the muskets here is far less than Blue Planet’s latest edge guns.
Another example is Nezha Devil is coming.
It’s mainly dependent on special effects, its funny and affectionate theme, and most importantly, the popularity of its characters and background in China.
Unfortunately, this movie is almost impossible to be popular here.
Its gorgeous combat special effects are due to the desire of human beings in fantasy and supernatural-lacking environment like the Blue Planet. Hence, it’s shocking and interesting to humans back there.
However, the high strength of the true dragons will make it impossible for them to feel shocked and novelty at those special effects
Family drama? Most dragons aren’t likely to be interested.
Fun and comedy? In the Blue Planet, different countries and cultures have different feelings for comedy. What might be considered funny in a certain culture might not be so in another one. These are just different cultures and countries, let alone a different world.
’Wandering Earth?’
’The planet under our feet wants to escape the solar system?’
’What is a solar system? Why should our planet escape from it?’
’What? The sun is going to explode? Are you crazy? The gods will never allow such a thing’.
Shillong can already imagine the reaction of the living creatures in this world about this movie.
Is the solar system of this world even similar to that of Blue Planet?
Shillong himself doesn't know how this world’s solar system works or looks like. What are the wide-range effects of magic and supernatural power on the world? Shillong is far from qualified to delve into these things now.
American blockbusters? They are mostly special effects, and special effects aren’t really something impressive in the eyes of dragons. After all, they are a fantasy-species standing at the top of all creatures in this world.
After thinking about all the possible and suitable movies, Shillong finally decided to film a classic story with a small twist. A slightly modified Dragon Quest!
Shillong’s first movie still has to focus on metal dragons.
He has to make money first before making a super magical film or a masterpiece-level movie from the Blue Planet.
If he makes a super magic movie from the beginning, but these dragons don’t like it, then he will go bankrupt.
Apart from the allowance that he gets from his mother, he has no other way of getting money.
As for going to the human world to make or rob money?
’Hell no! I’m still young and the outside world is very unsafe! I have to wait for at least another twenty years before going out!’
Finally, after taking all possibilities into consideration, he concluded that Dragon Quest with a slight twist is the safest choice.
The twist is that the protagonist of this story is a metal dragon wandering outside. Due to various twists, he transformed into his/her human form, then embarked on the legendary story of slaying the evil five-color dragon clan.
This kind of story is most liked by metal dragons! Directly hitting their G spot!
If any metal dragon can hunt a five-color evil dragon in their life, then that’s definitely something worth bragging about!
Now that he finally selected the story, the next step is to discuss with the other three dragons.
Nefiro and Ambrio can solve the problem of props and scenes location.
The story starts with the young metal dragon leaving his nest, the princess getting kidnapped from the palace to the final defeat of the evil dragon.
Shillong went through all the scenes in his mind, then went out with Nefiro and Ambrio to find other actors.
These two dragons naturally have their own circle and friends. It’s easy to draw a dozen dragons.
These dragons are also very interested in making movies.
Finally, the group of dragons enthusiastically began shooting the first scene.
The location was chosen in the lair of Ambrio's mother.
This lair is similar to Viola's lair in the previously deserted island.
It's like a luxurious palace, with piles of gold coins and treasures everywhere.
……
Shillong stood on top of Arman's head, with the audio-visual stone right in front of him, record the scenery ahead.
At this time, Shillong's face had an extremely serious expression as he looked intently ahead.
In front of them, a huge silver dragon at least twenty meters tall is lying on all fours, lying in front of its treasure.
In front of this huge silver dragon, there is also a smaller silver dragon, 13 or 14 meters tall.
It’s the protagonist Ambrio and his mother.
Ambrio said blankly. "Mother! I will leave you today and go to the human world..."
"Cut! Stop!" Shillong standing on top of Arman’s head shouted loudly.
"Ambrio! What are you doing? This isn’t your first try you know? How could you repeat yesterday’s mistake? Is your face paralyzed? Excited. Understand? Your face must be filled with excitement! Now, try again!"
"Excited? Excited?" Ambrio muttered indistinctly.
"But, I was like this when I left my nest and ent to the human world before? Why do I have to be excited? It's just a trip out...There are so many dragons around. I’m a bit ashamed to act excited for such a small thing."
Speaking of this, Ambrio looked around the dragon's nest. There are more than a dozen dragons in the super-large palace-shaped dragon's nest!
These dragons are grinning. Although they didn't make a sound, they pointed and whispered while whispering, making him feel very uncomfortable!
"It's you who has a problem! Ignore them when acting, treat them like air! Air! understood? Your expression also has a problem! You ask other dragons! Ask them if they were excited at that time!
“Were you excited when you left your mother’s nest for the first time?”
Ambrio frowned, then asked Nefiro not far behind.
Nefiro nodded repeatedly.
"I was very excited in the days before leaving the nest! At that time, my appetite was much bigger! I ate twice as my average!"
The other dragons also nodded in agreement. When they thought of going out and earning their own gold coins, how could they not be excited?
As for being watched by other dragons, Ambrio has to solve this small problem himself!
“……”
"It seems that It’s indeed mu problem, but... I really don't know why I wasn’t so excited upon leaving the nest..." Ambrio was a little embarrassed.
"This..." Shillong looked at Ambrio somewhat silently.
This is just the first step of the shooting! Why did they encounter a problem so early?
Shillong looked at Ambrio silently. He thought for a solution for a while. Suddenly, his eyes lit up.
"Don't you like to study magic? Aren’t you excited when you achieve a new result or are successful in studying new magic? Try to think of this while playing this scene"
"Huh?" Ambrio's eyes lit up. "Yes! I know what you mean!"
"Okay! Let's start again!"
……
"Mother! Today I will leave you and go to the human world to gain experience, I will definitely leave a legend that belongs to me! And earn countless treasures!" Ambrio's expression became more vivid and colorful this time.
His face was filled with excitement.
’Perfect, let’s see Anma’s reaction’ Shillong nodded in approval.
The giant silver dragon nodded slightly.
"Child, go! The young dragon will grow up one day, leave his mother's protection, and thrive outside. Mother looks forward to your future!"
The dragon mother had a gratified look on her face.
’That's it!’ Shillong almost squealed in delight.
‘This Anma is good! Her acting is S-class!’
"Mom, I'm going to part with you soon, but I'm a bit reluctant to leave you."
Ambrio's expression was also full of dismay.
While saying this line, he thought of the many times he failed while making his golem.
’What the hell! How did this guy’s acting change so much!’
’How can one’s acting go from a disabled mess to a super professional level with just two sentences!’
Shillong watched these two dragons perform with a look of shock. These two dragons performed very well in their first scene.
Finally, Shillong adjusted the audio-visual stone slightly and recorded the scene of Ambrio leaving the cave with the orange sunset as his background.
The first act ends.
All of the dragons walked out of the cave.
