"Huff... It was terrible."
Tang Guo walked out of the spaceship, patted her chest, and said. "I thought the spaceship was going to break apart."
She turned her around and looked at the huge spaceship behind her with a look of lingering fear. While crossing the space tunnel, Tang Guo felt so much shaking and bumping that she was scared the spaceship would break.
"Hahaha, we finally left that dangerous place." Miller laughed.
"Now that our travel was successful, I can finally rest for a while and fully focus on developing our space force."
While Miller and Tang Guo were expressing their emotions, one person after the other walked out from the spaceship wearing suits.
"This place is really beautiful."
In the crowd, someone sighed with amazement and said.
Fang Yun shifted his sight from these people and started looking at the area near him.
They are currently in an empty area. looking at the distance, space is filled with a dense cluster of stars, which looked very beautiful.
However, Fang Yun only appreciated it for a while before shifting his attention.
At present, the Federation is also starting to deal with the aftermath of the wormhole crossing. According to the information Fang Yun intercepted, the Federation is currently comforting the families of the dead.
This time the wormhole crossing can be considered a great success, but it’s not casualty free. In fact, the energy emitted by the Wormhole killed many creatures, especially the ones that weren’t in specially constructed bunkers or spaceships or the weak ones with little to no defense.
Tang Guo and the others said goodbye to Fang Yun and also went to deal with the current mess. They are also high-level government figures, so they can’t lay lazily around while others deal with the aftermath.
Fang Yun looked around with a bored look on his face. He twisted his body while deliberating what to do next.
This may be Fang Yun's special ability. In short, he can send electromagnetic and sound waves freely in space.
He is planning to inspect the surrounding area.
The area where they are currently in along with the earth and earth guard 3 is very empty. Fang Yun estimated that the nearest planet is over 1 billion kilometers away.
Furthermore, there are now stars in this area, the nearest one should be at least one light-year away.
Fortunately, this is not a big issue. The Artificial Sun can provide them with enough energy for now. Even if things fo for the worst, they can just find some nearby planet and create another supermassive wormhole.
Fang Yun spent a few days wandering around this area of space, but he didn’t find anything special, even if he used his electromagnetic waves to scout.
This is enough to show that this place is very remote.
"Hmm, a remote place means that resources are relatively scarce. However, the current Federation still has an abundance of energy resources. They still haven’t reached the point of looting from other planets.”
The Federation has basically completely abandoned traditional energies like oil. Nuclear Power is still commonly used. As for the newly discovered source stone, it’s used solely as a strategic military resource, and the Federation is making sure to limit its consumption as much as possible.
"The energy of this source stone is too advanced, maybe other civilizations in the galaxy also use the source stone as an energy source, maybe even as a currency.”
Fang Yun also saw an energy-filled source stone before. This kind of ore has a thin and relatively rough skin. Once it’s cut, the source energy will start to slowly dissipate.
However, humans have discovered that they can use a transparent colloidal material to smear the incision, directly sealing the energy inside and prevent it from dissipating.
Therefore, the source stone can indeed be cut into smaller parts and used as currency.
This kind of energy is natural and pollution-free. Furthermore, the radiation its emit is very slight and can easily be withstood by the human body. Even less than the radiation a mobile phone emits.
The source stones that the Federation mined were cut into smaller pieces and stored in confidential places.
After all, humans know too little about source stones, and their energy is just too powerful. In the few cases where they do use the source stone, just a small piece is enough to do more than a giant factory of nuclear energy.
This is one of the main reasons it was deemed as priceless and as a strategic resource.
It’s also worth mentioning that they found a way to compress energy stones. They can compress and smith one thousand small energy stones into a high-quality one.
Fang Yun felt more and more that these energy stones are similar to the spirit stones used in Xianxia novels.
Shaking his head, he stopped thinking about them. Anyway, he can’t use them.
Fang Yun wandered across space speed at a shocking speed. His speed has increased a lot in the last few years. In the past five years, he evolved 3 times again.
He got 186 skill points from these evolutions, to which he used 60 to upgrade “Shadow Wind” three times.
After upgrading that skill to the maximum level, he got a new skill immediately after the next evolution. It’s also a speed skill, and it’s called “Light Speed Field”.
According to the skill description, using this skill, a space field will appear around him, shrinking the distance between him and the outside world. Using this skill, just a slight movement of his will result in him crossing an extreme distance in the outside world.
This skill doesn’t consume a lot of energy, and the more he uses it, the more proficient and skilled he becomes at using the space field.
"Light Speed Field" requires 60 skill points for the first upgrade, and each subsequent upgrade requires 10 points more.
Fang Yun guessed that all the new skills in the future will have the same setting.
Fang Yun upgraded this skill twice, leaving him with only 2 skill points left.
After activating this skill, his speed can reach an extremely terrifying level.
If he unfolds it at full force. His speed can reach one-tenth of the speed of light, which is 30,000 km/s.
The Federation’s most advanced spaceships are worse than a snail compared to him. According to his calculations, their fastest spaceship can barely reach one-thousandth of the speed of light, about 300 km/s
Furthermore, this is their maximum speed, keeping this speed for over 2 hours will result in engine damages.
After checking the area around, Fang Yun returned to Earth. After returning, Tang Guo immediately came to him. She is seemingly worried about his disappearance.
"Ouroboros, I thought you were gone before."
Tang Guo patted her chest and said. Her face behind the glass helmet had a look of relief.
She and Fang Yun are old friends, if Fang Yun left without saying goodbye, she will be really sad.
Furthermore, the people on Earth Guard 3 are feeling insecure without Fang Yun’s presence.
For example, in the few days where Fang Yun disappeared, many ordinary people on the Earth and the Earth Guard 3 panicked a lot. They truly regard Fang Yun as their totem and guardian deity now.
Many Ordinary people think that they are at the bottom of intelligent civilizations across the universe. Anyway, a civilization called the SkyRiver Empire caused such destruction to their civilization with a single spaceship and forced them to escape from their original solar system.
Fang Yun's existence gave them a great sense of security, especially since he was able to bring down that powerful spaceship.
He has a huge size, extremely high attack power. More importantly, they don’t need to worry about him enslaving them or the like. At least he didn’t show any similar characteristics in the past dozen years.
In fact, it wasn’t just ordinary people, even the leaders of the Federation were very worried about Fang Yun’s previous departure.
The giant serpent can be said to be their biggest trump card. Without his help, survival in space will be very difficult.
