-------------------------
The development of planetary engines is in full swing. They have already found a good direction and they are heading in it.
In the past few years, the number of humans has skyrocketed. After all, the government had been widely encouraging it, developing many new preferential policies to the families with more kids.
This has resulted in Fang Yun’s reputation increasing a lot. Unfortunately, it’s still miles away from 20 billion points, let alone getting a new bloodline.
Currently, his reputation points are a bit more than 17 billion, and according to Fang Yun's guess, the next bloodline requires at least 100 billion points.
This is a huge number, and it’s almost impossible to accumulate it relying on humans alone.
…………
In the endless dark space, a terrifying giant serpent floated quietly. It raised its head and looked at the endless darkness around and the nearby colorful planets with a look of melancholy in its eyes.
"I’m almost 140 years old."
Time quickly flew. It had been more than 130 years since Fang Yun was Reincarnated a snake. Over the years, he grew from a few centimeters long snake into his current form. He has long adapted to his life as a snake, he can’t even remember what it’s like to be a human.
However, he always kept a wish deep in his heart, which is to go back and take a look at his hometown. The earth in his original universe.
He doesn’t even remember why he wants to go back at this point, but he still wants to go back.
However, from his current situation, this wish is still impossible to fulfill.
"Ouroboros, this is the food we brought you today."
Suddenly, a voice sounded in his brain. A spaceship suddenly stopped next to Fang Yun. The top hatch opened and a figure slowly walked out of there.
Tang Guo was wearing a spacesuit. She sent an electromagnetic wave to the giant serpent in front of her with just a single though.
Although this technology isn’t new, the Federation managed to perfect it with the help of Fang Yun.
Fang Yun shifted his sight. Behind Tang Guo, there was a huge spaceship over ten kilometers long. It’s the latest spaceship developed by humans.
It has the latest engine made the collective minds of all the top scientists in the world. Although there is still a huge gap in speed with the spaceship of the SkyRiver civilization, it’s still ten times faster than their previous spaceships.
Behind this spaceship are 8 huge meteorites. The smallest one has a diameter of 1 kilometer and the largest has a diameter of 3 kilometers.
This is Fang Yun's food.
In the past year, he stopped eating the monsters in the earth, changing his staple food to the meteorites in space.
These meteorites are from a nearby meteorite belt. This spaceship and others similar to it are responsible to drag them out of the meteorite belt and bring them to Fang Yun.
One of the most important reasons why he switched diet to meteorites is due to the huge amount of bio-energy they provide.
Even the smallest meteorite with a diameter of 1 kilometer can provide Fang Yun with 2 million bio-energy points.
The biggest one with a diameter of 3 kilometers can provide him with 8 million bio-energy points.
These 8 meteorites are worth 30 million bio-energy points in total.
Unfortunately, they aren’t easy to digest. He needs at least 3 days to digest all 8 of these meteorites, which is incomparable to the few minutes he needs to digest monsters of similar size.
It’s also worth mentioning that needs 5 billion bio-energy points for his next evolution, which will take who knows how long if he focuses solely on eating these sea monsters.
"Tang Guo, what technologies did you guys get from that SkyRiver Empire”s spaceship.”
While breaking and eating these meteorites, Fang Yun chatted with Tang Guo.
"The engine and energy source of the spaceship behind you should be based on the SkyRiver civilization spaceship, right?”
Hearing this, Tang Guo was silent for a moment before saying.
"You’re right, but most of the components we got from that spacecraft are broken. Moreover, those devices are too complicated, so we can't recreate a similar energy source for the time being."
After explaining this, Tang Guo couldn’t help but sigh.
They are like a group of elementary students holding one of the world’s most complicated devices.
Not to mention recreating that space jumping technology, they don’t even know how does the power source work.
"Don’t worry. It seems that our guess was right, the SkyRiver Empire doesn’t know yet that one of their spaceships had been destroyed here, you still have time.”
Fang Yun comforted Tang Guo while continuing to eat the meteorites next to him;
Tang Guo looked at Fang Yun eating the meteorites for a while before leaving.
Most high-officials are currently very busy with various matters, especially leaders of the space team like her. She usually needs to stay in her designated area, completely monitoring it. As long as an abnormal incident occur, she can quickly report the situation back to the earth.
Time continued to quietly pass.
The Federation has finally developed the first functional planetary engine. What they need to do next to recreate it in the designated areas around the world.
In the end, they created a total of 50,000 planetary engines and placed them in their predetermined location around the world.
Doing all of this took them another 5 years.
In other words, it has been ten years since Fang Yun proposed this plan. In these ten years, earth-shaking changes have taken place in the earth.
During these ten years, the ‘Great Will’ never appeared again. All of its traces including those “Demonic Whispers” across the world disappeared.
Whether it’s the Old Land, or the Forbidden Land, these two continents had been frantically explored by human beings in the last few years. This naturally yielded them great returns, including a lot of precious ores.
These ores helped push the technological ability of humans another few levels.
It’s worth mentioning that the number of humans across the world has skyrocketed in the past few years, going from a little under 100 million to 300 million people.
Currently, it’s still a peaceful age, and with the support of the governement, the majority of people marry shortly after adulthood and have a lot of kids, causing the human population to rise a shocking speed.
This is all in favor of the government and Fang Yun. They aren’t worried about the problem of overpopulation for the time being. They were able to support 7 billion people on the much smaller Blue Planet before, so it won’t be difficult to do the same on this bigger planet.
Moreover, according to the information disclosed by high-level governement officials, apart from the earth, another planet in the White Sun solar system is suitable for human survival.
Shortly in the future, the government will send an expedition to clear an area suitable for human survival. That will be humans’ back plan and emergency evacuation area in case something goes wrong with their plan.
The Earth Wandering Project is about to begin. Every city and each populated place around the world had propaganda about this.
Thanks to the government’s explanation and the great threat they are facing. Although people are afraid, they aren’t too resistant to this plan. They know that if they stupidly stay in this place, then they might face the invasion and genocide of the SkyRiver Empire in the near future.
The rotation speed of the earth has gradually started to slow down. Finally, on a certain day, it completely stopped moving.
Immediately afterward, the planetary engines started to work, pushing the Earth towards the precalculated route.
