-------------------------
After bidding farewell to Fang Yun, Lu Cheng left. After which he held an elder meeting to discuss Fang Yun’s idea.
Finally, after a long discussion and debate, along with some consultation with the top scientists in the world, this idea was deemed possible and was approved by the council of elders.
The Earth wandering plan was about to start.
Lu Cheng first announced the plan to all people across the earth, then announced the construction of the planetary engine. First of all, they need to stop the rotation of the Earth, then push it to a pre-calculated path.
Their new planet, the earth is in a solar system with 7 planets. In the middle is a massive star, 10 times the size of their previous sun, called the white sun.
In the vicinity of the White Sun solar system, there are two other solar systems located on both of its sides. They are respectively called the Taylor solar system and the Kovar solar system.
These two solar systems are only a few light-years away from the earth. One of them is in the central area of the milky way galaxy, and the other is not far from the center.
Needless to say, Lu Cheng and other elders chose to move towards the solar system that is away from the center of the milky way galaxy, which is the Taylor solar system.
However, they aren’t planning to follow Fang Yun’s plan completely. Instead, they are planning to send a spacecraft to a nearby planet, then construct a base on it.
Using that base, they are planning to create a supermassive wormhole using all the energy of that planet, sacrificing it in the process, then drive the earth towards that wormhole using planetary engines.
Of course, this is just the rough plan, they need a long time to completely sort out the details of the plan.
And after creating such a wormhole, they still need to conduct some experiments, such as pulling nearby planets into that wormhole to see what will happen to them. Overall, this momentous and unprecedented plan needs a lot of preparation and experimentation before executing it.
While studying and building the blue-prints for the planetary engines, the elders ordered that new spacecraft study must not fall behind. They still have some trauma about that alien spaceship.
………....
Time quickly passed.
Five years later.
The earth is still as calm as before. Whether it’s the SkyRiver civilization or the ‘Great Will’, none of them appeared again.
Humans haven’t forgotten the promise they made to Fang Yun. They have always provided him with the bodies of monsters and giant beasts, most of which are from the Forbidden Land.
Currently, humans are frantically developing this place.
The Forbidden Land previously had many terrifying monsters, complex terrain, and most importantly, the intense “Demonic Whispers” shrouded all of its corners.
However, after the battle between Fang Yun and the ‘Great Will’, those “Demonic Whispers” disappeared. Moreover, the Federation had been using all of its power to deal with all the terrifying monsters and creatures on the continent in the past few years, opening up many new opportunities and land, causing people to scramble in order to get a part of this massive cake.
The Forbidden Land is extremely rich in mineral and natural resources. Even some extremely rare commodities that go for a sky-high price back in the Pacific-Asia continent are very common here.
For example, someone discovered a crystal mine. This crystal mine is very small, only the size of a football field, but its value is incalculable. Because this is an extremely rare resource of energy, pushing the development ability of the entire Federation to another level.
Previously, in addition to natural energies such a solar and wind power, the most used energy comes from kaiju blood and nuclear power.
But compared with the energy contained in the crystal mine, the previous energies are all extremely small and very inefficient. It’s like comparing coal power to nuclear energy.
"We can finally shrink the energy devices of our large-scale machinery."
This is the conclusion that all scientists come to after studying those crystals.
The scientists who are responsible for building the new spaceships were very excited. Although they still have many areas to work on, at least this solves the energy problem.
The crystal ore was eventually named as the Source Stone by the Federation and deemed as a strategic resource.
As time passed, the tension gradually rose in the hears of the Federation higher-ups. After all, the longer they remain in this place, the higher the risk.
Especially when their new spaceships have barely progressed.
Fortunately, Fang Yun’s existence made them feel more or less at ease. This ally has evolved 3 times in the past 5 years.
After these three evolutions, Fang Yun's body length has reached 11 kilometers, and a diameter of more than 400 meters.
It’s truly frightening watching such a powerful monster grow at such a horrible speed.
Although they knew that this giant serpent can grow by eating various monsters, this growth rate is still ridiculous.
Tang Guo, Lu Cheng, and other people were extremely shocked.
They wondered if this giant serpent’s growth had limits. If he really doesn’t have any limits, then it’s truly possible for him to grow to a planetary-level size. At that time, he will truly live up to the name of Ouroboros.
These three evolutions brought over 180 skill points to Fang Yun. Adding the leftover from the last evolution, he has a total of 229 skill points, enough to max out “Anti-Gravity Field” and upgrade “Greater Overclocking Resonance” a few times.
The thing that made Fang Yun the happiest in the new skills he got after his last evolution.
One is a “Greater Energy Beam”, and the other is a weird skill called “Cell Distortion”.
There is no need to explain “Greater Energy Beam”, it’s basically the enhanced version of “Energy Beam”. The skill that picked his interest more is this “Cell Distortion”.
According to the skill description, he can use this skill to produce cell aberration to make an organism’s cell divide rapidly, effectively exhausting its life.
No matter what type of creature, there is a limit to its cell division ability. When the cell’s ability to divide stops, that would be the end of their life. Of course, not many can reach this upper limit.
Fang Yun felt that this skill is almost like a time acceleration ability, making its target reach old age and die in just a short period of time.
The most important thing is that this skill has a very wide area of effect. That means that he can target the population of an entire planet and make them die of old age at the same time.
With such a catastrophic effect, this skill naturally requires a scary amount of skill points to upgrade.
It’s also worth mentioning that these two new skills are different from any skill he got in the past. The previous skills, no matter how many skill points they need to upgrade, their number required at each level remained the same.
However, these two new skills are different, each level requires more skill points to upgrade than the last. For example, level 1 needs 60 skill points but level 2 needs 70, and so on.
This is a point worth noting as all future new skills might have the same incremental system.
After thinking for a while, Fang Yun decided to max out “Anti-Gravity Field” first, then upgraded the two new skills one time each.
With the current “Anti-gravity Field”, he can easily get rid of the earth’s gravity and travel into space. His flight speed and agility have also increased tremendously.
Adding to that the fact that he got the ability to survive in extreme environments, including space when he evolved into a Peng Snake. He can start his interstellar journey anytime he wants.
However, he doesn’t plan to leave for the time being. He is still planning to continue his cooperation with the Blue Planet Federation in order to get more reputation points.
He is more than 130 years old, which is about one-fourth of a Pang Snake’s lifespan, 500 years.
In other words, he still has 360 to 370 years to live.
This number might seem large at first glance, but it’s actually very concerning upon thinking about it.
The universe is immeasurably big. As long as he doesn’t have a space crossing or manipulation ability like that of the ‘Great Will’, then even if he can travel at the sub-light speed, he might not find an intelligent civilization in 300 years.
In the end, he can only helpless die of old age in the endless void.
He isn’t planning to start his interstellar journey until he gets the next bloodline or some sort of space manipulation ability.
