---------------------------
Space jumping technology is a very exciting thing. It can reduce the time required to cross tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of light-years to a few hours or days.
This technology is almost an artifact of escaping, but it’s not absolute.
For example, at this time, Elvira is in the midst of a space jump. However, a strange force suddenly enveloped Elvira, causing it to be ejected from hyperspace at once.
"Damn it, what's going on?"
As a veteran soldier, Locker certainly knew what just happened, but this is too unbelievable so he couldn’t help but cry out.
In the Milky Way galaxy, hyperspace technology is the standard configuration of all the powerful civilizations. The same goes for planet destroyer spaceships.
However, as technology advance, a counter for everything will eventually be created. The counter for hyperspace technology is the gravity generator.
The gravity generator can be used to create an artificial supergravity field. Which can be used in a certain way to prevent hyperspace travel.
Just a few seconds ago, Elvira seemed to have encountered such an attack, but there were some differences. Locker can't figure out what’s the difference was, but it’s not the point right now.
The point is that their spaceship was pulled out of hyperspace, returning back to their to the earth.
"Send an emergency message to the nearest signal base immediately!"
Before Locker could think about it, he directly said.
"Even if we die here, we must send the message back."
Even if they use special means to quickly send back the message, due to remoteness of this place, it will still take the empire a long time to learn the news. By the time the support arrives, they would have already died.
Chris was still in a daze, but he still executed Locker’s order. After a few seconds, his face suddenly turned pale.
"Captain, our messages can’t be sent. There is a distorted electromagnetic field around us. It should be due to the interference of the Pathogen.”
After hearing Chris’s words, Locker felt his body gradually turn cold. His face is green with regret.
If he knew this before, he wouldn’t have dared to enter the atmosphere of this planet so rashly. Now, due to his rashness and arrogance, they are all likely to die here.
As long as he sends a message back to the empire, Locker wouldn’t feel bad even if he died, but now his death is going to be meaningless.
In other words, after their deaths, it will take at least 10 years, maybe even a few dozen for the empire to know about their death.
After all, real-time communication across such a long distance is still impossible.
What's more frightening is that even if the empire knows about their deaths, it will take a long time to investigate this matter, giving time for these two pathogens to consume the living creatures on this planet and escape.
Generally, the only time when the empire judge whether something happened to a patrolling spacecraft in space is at the end of a mission cycle.
After a mission cycle, if a planet-destroying spaceship doesn’t return to the headquarters, it will be classified as missing.
If there is no news about it in ten years, it will be listed as destroyed. Only then will the relevant department dispatch the search team to investigate the whereabouts of the spaceship and where was its last recorded whereabouts.
Unfortunately, in many cases, the spaceship isn’t found and the case is declared closed.
"The alien spaceship has reappeared there!"
In the distance, Tang Guo and the others looked at the spaceship that suddenly reappeared in amazement. They aren’t on that tower anymore, they are currently in an underground bunker looking at the screen.
The place where the Elvira reappeared is very far away from the Forbidden Land, a few thousand kilometers away.
"They should have just tried to escape, but they were intercepted by something, forcing them to reappear on our planet.”
Miller looked at the cool and streamlined spaceship on the holographic screen with a dazed look on his face.
This alien spaceship even has the ability to jump in space.
Its previous disappearance is most likely due to a jump in space. They could see the fluctuation in space after all.
This is the technology that humans dream of.
Although they got the wormhole technology from the aboriginal inhabitants of the Earth, this type of technology is very different from that of space jumps.
The biggest difference is that wormhole travel is much slower, more inefficient and more energy-consuming, hence it can only be carried on a planet, where it can get enough energy to activate.
In fact, the technology used in wormholes and hyperspace is almost completely different.
Hence, it’s understandable that Miller is so obsessed over the hyperspace technology used by the alien spaceship.
However, he quickly snapped up from his fantasy.
What kind of situation are they in now? The unmatched attack power that the alien spaceship showed before caused him to think that humanity is finished.
Although they already sent a group of people through the space channel into their own spaceship, before the alien spaceship arrived at the earth, it didn’t seem like the rest of humans will be able to escape.
However, the alien spaceship was suddenly attacked by a golden claw, then immediately escaped, only to reappear thousands of kilometers away a few seconds later.
This series of bizarre events caused him to scratch his head in confusion.
“Splash!”
On the calm sea, a huge water bump appeared, followed by a huge serpent breaking through it.
"It's that serpent, Ouroboros!"
Miller looked at the behemoth that appeared on the calm sea and subconsciously yelled.
Tang Guo and Henry’s sight also quickly concentrated on the screen after hearing Miller’s call. They quickly saw the giant snake that appeared on the sea surface.
They could almost hear the roaring waves as the water surface broke open.
"Is he the one responsible for the previous incident?"
Tang Guo said in astonishment. In the picture, the giant serpent raised his head and looked at the alien spaceship not far away from him.
Tang Guo’s guess is indeed on point, Elvira’s space jump failed due to him. Just before the alien spaceship entered the Hyperspace, he used “Anti-Gravity Field” on it.
Although this skill is called “Anti-Gravity Field”, it does much more than that. In fact, using it, he can manipulate gravity to a certain extent, even going as far as multiplying an object’s gravity by hundreds of times.
At that moment, because of the change of its own gravity, Elvira was forced out of the Hyperspace.
Of course, Fang Yun didn’t expect that to happen, he just tried to interfere with them.
"I didn't expect it to be directly pulled out."
Fang Yun looked at the spaceship above with a look surprised. This is a bit beyond his expectations, but it doesn’t matter.
He doesn’t want to let this spaceship leave just like this.
Although the firepower of this spaceship didn't look weak, he still wants to judge its strength and estimate the power of the civilization behind it.
Previously, Elvira showed tremendous power, using its dragon missiles comparable to nuclear bombs to annihilate dozens of military bases around the world.
However, he has the confidence to resist that type of attack.
After all, his current defensive power has reached an incredibly high level. In fact, even he doesn’t know the limit of his defense.
The other reason why he stopped the spaceship from leaving is that he doesn’t want to deal with the trouble that will follow after that.
This spaceship might bring a fleet back with it next time and he isn’t ready to deal with that yet.
"The aliens in the spaceship won't be stupid, right?"
Looking at the spacecraft hovering motionless in the air, Fang Yun was speechless. Shouldn’t they start their counterattack now?
"Captain, I still can't send the message back, damn it!"
Inside the spacecraft, Chris waved his fists in annoyance.
"Captain, should we fight with them!"
He looked at the giant serpent who was looking at them with its head high and couldn’t help but feel angry. He felt that this animal is provoking them.
Compared to the third-stage pathogen, this giant serpent is easier to deal with.
Of course, they don't think that this giant serpent is the one that pulled them out of the Hyperspace, they think that it’s the author one.
"Activate our weapons and aim at the giant serpent below!"
Locker was also ready to start a desperate battle at this time.
"Before we die, we have to pull at least one with us!"
Chris nodded heavily, then began to operate the control board. Unexpectedly, right at that moment, another water bump appeared not far away after which another behemoth appeared on the water surface.
Locker, Chris, and the other crew members felt their heart tightening. They looked at the behemoth below with frightened expressions on their face.
Back on the sea surface, Fang Yun looked at the monster not far away from him with a solemn look on his face.
