"Chris, did Aminu locate the pathogen yet?"
Captain Locker asked Chris. He didn't care at all about the result of the attack. He is confident that all of those military bases are annihilated.
Although this civilization is a bit advanced, it’s tens of thousands of years away compared to them.
The dragon missiles they launched are very fast. It’s almost impossible to intercept them with the technology level of this planet. Apart from dumb luck, their only way is to use a vast amount of missiles to intercept them when they are close to the ground.
Unfortunately, this doesn’t have any effect at all.
Even if the dragon missiles explode at an altitude of 10,000 meters, the energy released by it is still enough to completely destroy many fortified buildings on the ground. Furthermore, it’s just an idiotic dream for a civilization of this level to intercept their missiles at an altitude of 10,000 meters.
"This……"
In a conference room, Lu Cheng listened to the staff's report with clenched hands. His face was unusually pale. Their large military bases have all been destroyed. Not a single one of them survived.
Moreover, all the facilities in those bases, including underground facilities, were destroyed. All of their powerful weapons and ammunition were destroyed along with these bases
Even more tragic is that dozens of bases were quite close to big cities. This resulted in major destruction and an untold amount of casualties.
The most important thing is that even their escape route was destroyed!
This is only the result of the alien spaceship’s first attack, but it caused their entire civilization to be almost crippled. This result vastly beyond imagination caused Lu Cheng to feel confused. What’s the point of their resistance?
Fortunately, after that attack, the alien spaceship didn’t continue to attack them. It still remained above the Forbidden Land, seemingly searching for something.
The military base in the Forbidden Land wasn’t attacked. Perhaps the aliens felt that this military base isn’t worthy of the miniature nuclear bombs.
"Order Miller to stop the attack."
In the meeting room, Lu Cheng frowned and issued an order. Their fighter jets are completely useless against the alien spaceship. Their best option now is to stop this meaningless sacrifice and look at what these aliens want to do.
Elvira is currently cruising above the Forbidden Land. According to their detection, there is an abnormal energy fluctuation on this continent, which likely is the Pathogen.
"Captain, Aminu sensed abnormal energy fluctuations in that direction."
Beside Locker, Chris suddenly frowned.
"No, how come there are two abnormal energy fluctuations?"
"One of them is in the sea not far away."
Locker was very surprised after hearing Chris’s words. Two abnormal energy fluctuations? Does that mean that there are two Pathogens on this planet?
However, he quickly shook his head. It’s impossible for two pathogens to live harmoniously on the same planet.
Pathogens all need faith. Intelligent creatures can be said to be an extremely important resource for them. Not only is their strength growth related to this, but even their resurrection need intelligent creatures.
However, Pathogens don’t usually fight with each other as there’s a huge difference in strength between them most of the time. Even if they have relatively similar strength, they rarely fight as that will only lead to both of them getting injured.
One of them might even die, and they can only resurrect thousands or even tens of thousands of years later.
Pathogens usually take the initiative to leave after noticing that one of their peers is already latched on a planet.
"It doesn’t matter. First, get rid of the thing nearby. It might not be a Pathogen, but just in case."
Locker gave this order after a brief contemplation. Although this incident is quite rare and surprising, with Elvira, he isn’t so worried.
Pathogens have a huge difference in strength. Some are strong enough to threaten the empire, but most of them can’t even be compared with Elvira. This spaceship has a planet-destroying cannon after all.
"The laser cannons are ready."
Based on the energy fluctuations released by that creature, Aminu quickly locked an area, which is about 100 kilometers away from them. After locking that area, Elvira quickly rushed over there
Under that area, a huge serpent was full of confusion.
“What’s going on, why is this spaceship coming towards me?”
Wasn't this spaceship fighting with humans before?
He had already run so far to watch the show, but he was actually targeted. This alien spaceship is heading straight towards him, completely ignoring the human airships not far away.
"Damn, they are really aiming at me."
Fang Yun’s pupils suddenly shrank. His huge body immediately drilled from underwater. Endless streams of water fell his body surface and back into the sea, making a loud noise. He coldly looked at the incoming spaceship, looking very solemn.
Although he confidently pierced the water and appeared on the water surface, he was actually quite speechless.
He suddenly remembered a piece of news he read in his past life.
An old Korean woman was coming back home when she suddenly saw a house burning. She ran over there to watch the excitement along with the crowd, but she quickly found out that her house was the one burning.
Her tears almost fell off at that time.
Fang Yun is now feeling the same as that old Korean woman. Originally, he was casually watching the battle between the alien spaceship and humans. He almost wanted to grab some nearby sea animals to eat while watching, but suddenly the spaceship targeted him.
“Isn’t this a bit too much” Fang Yun felt a bit wronged.
"It's the giant serpent!"
On the coast, someone quickly spotted Fang Yun and started shouting.
Although Fang Yun is about 100 kilometers away, which is usually an unseeable distance, with his height towering several kilometers above the surface of the sea, the people in the base were still able to clearly see him.
In the last few years, Lu Cheng and the other leaders were committed to building Fang Yun as the Federation’s Totem, or representative mark. As a result, it created great controversy amongst civilians. Some were very open to the idea, some didn’t like it.
In fact, for a while, it sparked a great debate.
However, because Fang Yun is the only intelligent giant monster that the Federation has ever found. Furthermore, he is cooperating with humans, he became extremely famous around the world, garnering him a great reputation.
Currently, most streets and giant billboards have his image, causing him to be one of the most famous living creatures in the world. The majority of humans, no matter what sort of opinion they have on him, are very curious about the giant serpent.
“The giant serpent has come to save us!"
In that base, someone looked at the giant serpent that towered above the ocean and shouted excitedly.
Among the crowd, Tang Guo looked at the huge black shadow in the distance and quietly breathed a sigh of relief. However, she quickly became nervous again. Can this friend of hers resist the attack of the alien spaceship?
Elvira and Fang Yun got closer and closer. In the control room, Chris looked at the giant serpent below them and said.
"Captain, this should be a relatively young pathogen."
Although the exposed part above the sea surface is just a part of its body, its body shouldn’t be much bigger than the exposed part.
To be honest, this giant serpent is quite small. Of course, that’s just for pathogens.
For most intelligent creatures, this body size can be considered humongous.
"Attack!"
Locker didn't talk continue talking nonsense, he directly gave the order to launch an attack.
Chris started to operate on the control board in front of him. However, he suddenly stopped. He looked at the screen in front of him with a surprised look on his face.
Mid-air, not far away from them, a huge claw suddenly appeared, pressing down on them.
