"It doesn’t matter how strong that guy is, you must take the initiative to attack it!"
Fang Yun said with a serious look on his face.
"In another ten years or so, the number of enslaved humans might reach one-fifth of the total human population or even more!"
"This amount of people can already affect the stability of your civilization. If that truly happens, then your days of peace will come to an end. Worst case scenario, you might even face the same ending as the aboriginal inhabitants of this planet."
Fang Yun threatened mercilessly. He is indeed telling the truth and this is exactly what Lu Cheng and other leaders of humanity are worried about.
"But to be honest, I also don’t know much about the strength of that guy."
Fang Yun didn't hesitate to tell Lu Cheng this point.
"It has always been hiding in the Forbidden Land. What you need to do now is to use your weapons and armies to pull that guy out from the Forbidden Land. You must force it to show up!”
Of course, Lu Cheng and the other human leaders could use their most powerful hydrogen bombs to attack, directly razing the Forbidden Land, but they will also be finished.
Their military technology has developed to a rather terrifying level. Even those old guys that are holding the switch to these weapons are uneasy and even sometimes afraid.
The sense of carrying the fate of humanity and all other creatures on their shoulders is very heavy. A slight carelessness from the people holding those switches can bring on the destruction of humanity.
Although their most powerful weapons still don’t have enough power to destroy a planet, it’s not difficult to sink a continent.
However, that would be the same as destroying all life on the planet surface, so they don’t dare use them.
"Your Excellency Ouroboros, do you have any interest in the ‘Great Will' owner?"
Lu Cheng mentioned the other reason for his personnel arrival. With the addition of a giant monster possessing very high combat power such as this snake, their odds of winning against the old dominator will be even higher.
"Of course I want to participate."
Fang Yun took it for granted. "But I have a few conditions. After the war, I want to get the old dominator’s body, you also have to provide me with food while I’m working with you.”
"Right, one more thing."
Fang Yun said all his requirements one after the other "You need to advertise my existence to your people."
"Oh?"
Lu Cheng's eyelids twitched. Fang Yun's request is a bit similar to the actions of the ‘Great Will’. It’s just that the owner of the 'Great Will' is promoting itself secretly, gathering more believers, and enslaving more humans.
Now, this giant serpent wants to promote itself to more humans. Is it trying to repeat the actions of the ‘Great Will’?
"Don't worry, I have no interest in manipulating others."
Fang Yun said with a bored look on his face. He did all of this for reputation points.
"If I want to deal with you humans, I don't need to do this at all."
Hearing that, Lu Cheng was silent, as Fang Yun said, if he really wanted to control humans like the owner of the ‘Great Will’, he doesn’t need to appear in front of them. He can hide behind the scenes and control them secretly, just like the Old Dominator.
It’s just...He still can’t fully believe the words of this giant serpent.
"Elder Lu, I might have a way to fight against the ‘Great Will' owner."
While Lu Cheng was still hesitating, Tang Guo on the side suddenly said. Seeing that everyone started looking at her, she took a deep breath and continued talking.
"Elder Lu, according to the information written on the scroll I got from the Forbidden Land. The most effective method of weakening and even getting rid of the influence of the ‘Great Will’ is to ignore its existence.”
"Many people are afraid or curious about the ‘Great Will'. Which are in turn used by it. If we have our own totem of belief, it won’t be so easy for the ‘Great Will’ to spread its influence and enslave more people.”
Tang Guo was quite shocked after hearing that Fang Yun wanted to spread his name. She was originally planning to spread the name of the giant serpent after their cooperation is officially concluded.
This is quite suitable as the Blue Planet Federation totem, a great serpent that can overturn the seas.
In this way, it will be much more difficult for people to be bewitched by the ‘Great Will’.
Now that Fang Yun took the initiative to ask Lu Cheng to spread his name, it will be easier to do so, as this basically means that he agrees.
"However, what is Ouroboros planning to do? Why does he want more people to know about his existence"
Tang Guo guessed randomly.
"Could it be that when a monster can reach a certain level, can it swallow the emotions of the people that think about it?"
She couldn’t help but think of the cultivators she saw in old TV dramas. Maybe, after monsters reach a certain level they need the emotions of people to continue growing?
Fang Yun didn’t know what idea Tang Guo was making in her brain. He doesn’t need emotions, he needs reputation points and more people need to know of him to get them.
Waking up from her fantasies, Tang Guo walked up to Lu Cheng and handed him the scroll she got in the Forbidden Land.
As an influential man standing at the top of humanity and one that lived almost two centuries at that, Lu Cheng isn’t a waste. After living on this planet for so many years, he had mastered the aboriginal language of this planet a long time ago.
After browsing through the entire scroll, Lu Cheng frowned. If the text on this scroll is true, then they might really have a way to deal with a terrifying creature.
Just applying these methods is enough to greatly reduce its power and influence.
More importantly, Fang Yun explained to Lu Cheng that this terrifying creature that is hiding in the Forbidden Land is likely a monster called the Old Dominator.
This creature isn’t unique, there should be many monsters similar to it in space, and life planets are their target.
If humanity enters space in the future, they might meet this type of creature in the future, so having their own totem of belief might largely prevent these creatures from controlling them.
However, he still needs to discuss this matter with the other elders. After all, this matter is related to the safety of the entire human civilization, he can not be careful enough.
"Your Highness."
Lu Cheng looked at Fang Yun and said, "The three conditions you mentioned aren’t easy to fulfill.”
"Can you please show us your power?"
If this giant serpent is just an ordinary sea monster, then it doesn’t have enough power and weight for it to talk to the entire human race as an equal. Fulfilling its three conditions would be just a loss.
Fang Yun didn’t directly answer. He turned his head, then started to slither out of the island, gradually accelerating, and leaving great havoc in his way.
When he reached the edge of the island, he accumulated his power, then jumped straight into the sky, stopping in an area a few kilometers away from the surface.
"Haha, this “Anti-Gravity Field” is very good."
Fang Yun swayed his huge body in the air, twisting in the sky like an eastern dragon.
Suddenly, he launched one of his most powerful skills, creating a lightning sea that stretches over 30 kilometers around him. Lightning covered the entire sky, almost blinding the humans below.
"This……"
This terrifying lightning sea frightened Lu Cheng. He stared at Fang Yun in the sky with a slightly panicked expression. At the same time, many soldiers ran towards him, then protected him in the middle.
Fang Yun continued to release lightning in the sky. His body shuttled around like a legendary monster, changing the color of the entire sky.
His speed was extremely fast. From the sight of Lu Cheng and the others below, Fang Yun looked like a mythical beast bathing in thunder, each movement of his left giant shockwaves in the air.
At the same time, he opened his mouth and aimed at the sea below. He released a very thick light beam that instantly struck the water below, creating a giant explosion and a lot of fog that covered a large part of the island.
One can imagine how much seawater has been evaporated by that laser beam, and all of this happened in the span of just 10 seconds.
"Well, this should be enough."
The thunder sea around Fang Yun gradually dissipated. In the end, he hovered mid-air and stared down at Lu Cheng below. Just as he was about to say something, a sudden vibrant swept through the sky, causing him immediately to turn around and look in one direction.
“Wooo!!!”
From that direction, a piercing roar suddenly sounded. Even the sea and the air started vibrating. Everyone on the island fell onto the ground and started screaming, their body started shaking due to the extreme vibrating.
The direction from which this voice sounded is exactly the Forbidden Land.
