"Sure enough, the food outside of the hunting area is much richer."
On a calm area of the sea, there are two islands floating on the surface. Upon closer inspection, they are actually two extremely huge monsters.
Fang Yun leisurely laid on the water surface, slowly drifting along with the same waves.
In this area, the most numerous sea creatures are no longer those blue sea horses. Although they aren’t totally absent, some other salmon-like creatures took their place.
It's been half a month since his fight with the Melville whale, during this time, he had been slowly traveling in the ocean, slowly approaching the Forbidden Land.
His speed is relatively slow, and he often swims to other places, mainly looking for food. Thankfully, with the help of the giant turtle, he ate a lot of sea monsters in the past half month, just enough for his next evolution.
"I should look for a place to evolve on."
Fang Yun thought internally. He is mainly looking for a big island with some rocky mountains.
Every time he evolves, he needs to shed his scales and replace them for new ones. Even if during the process of shedding process, his scales do become softer, it would still be a lot easier if there were some mountains to help him.
Moreover, the time of replacing his scales is his most vulnerable moment, so doing so in a deserted island would increase his safety factor a lot.
About half a month later, while traveling on the ocean surface, Fang Yun noticed a dark spot on the distant horizon. After approaching it a bit, Fang Yun found that it’s an island.
This island is quite big, with some big hills and giant trees on it. Although not perfect, but still good enough for him.
Fang Yun climbed on the island, then issued an order to the system.
"Start the evolution."
As usual, a strange feeling appeared in his body. Fang Yun twisted on the island, destroying many giant rocks and hills and breaking down many giant trees.
As for the bushes and smaller vegetation, they were crushed the moment Fang Yun boarded the island.
One piece of diamond black scales fell onto the ground one after the other, revealing brighter and shinier scales beneath them.
"It’s very comfortable."
Different from the original burning pain, now Fang Yun felt extreme conform as each scale fell from the surface of his body.
About two days later, his evolution was basically complete, his body has stopped growing and most of his old scales fell off, only a few remained near the tip of his tail, but they also soon fall off.
"Phew!"
Fang Yun let out a long sigh of relief. After this evolution, his length has reached 5.5 kilometers, 500 meters longer than before.
Finally, his diameter surpassed 200 meters. However, the thing that caused him to be the happiest is that two news skills appeared.
However, these new skills are a bit different from the previous ones.
“Greater Thunder Domain” and “Greater Overclocking Resonance”.
They are basically the enhanced version of “Thunder Domain”, and “Overclocking Resonance” with greater in front of them.
"Isn’t this a bit perfunctory."
Fang Yun was speechless.
“Adding just a greater in front of them, but the consumption of skill points have increased to 50 per upgrade, this is a bit shameless, right?"
However, when he read the detailed description of these two skills, he changed his mind.
A happy look emerged on his face.
"These skills are very good. "
Fang Yun’s eyes were filled with sparkles. After upgrading “Greater Thunder Domain”, the thunder sea range will increase from barely over 10 kilometers to 100 kilometers, which is around 200 kilometers in a circle. Not to mention the extreme increase in power.
For "Greater Overclocking Resonance", the sound transmission grange skyrocketed, allowing him to scan things even thousands of kilometers away, In fact, he could even scan the things in space, whether it’s a satellite or some super-advanced mothership.
The speed of analyzing natural frequencies has also increased a lot. At the same time, he can analyze and release multiple frequencies at the same time.
For example, the human body is very complex, different parts and internal organs have different natural frequencies. Previously, he could only analyze a single part at a time, then send the corresponding frequency to destroy it. For example, the heart.
Now, it’s no longer necessary to do so. He can analyze all body parts or machine parts at the same time, then send multiple frequencies to destroy the entire body in a single strike, turning the entire thing is tiny parts.
This skill has the potential to reach the point where any object can be turned into dust with a single cry from him.
"I shouldn’t upgrade these skills right now. I should accumulate them, then upon reaching the right moment, I will upgrade the corresponding skill. I can only upgrade 1 now anyway.”
Fang Yun came to this decision after thinking for a bit. He has four powerful skills to upgrade after all.
He slithered down from the island straight into the sea. He doesn’t know what situation he will encounter next, so keeping these points to upgrade the right skill at the right time is the best choice for now.
"How surprising, it seems that I can eat inanimate objects now."
Fang Yun was really shocked this time. When his sight crossed the rocks while slithering out of the island, the system gave him prompts indicating the bio-energy these rocks can provide.
"It's just too little. A stone with a diameter of 10 meters, weighing dozens of tons can only provide 100 bio-energy points.”
Fang Yun dispelled the thought of eating rocks for now. Instead, he turned his attention to enrich his recipe by eating various human machines.
"I should be able to eat ships now."
Fang Yun thought internally.
"If it’s a submarine, it would be even better."
The oval shape of a submarine is the most suitable for a serpent-type creature as it is the easiest to swallow. With his current size, he can swallow a submarine about 3 times his diameter, that is with a diameter of 600 meters.
Of course, it would be best to crush it a bit to make it easier to swallow.
"Unfortunately, this place is very far from human settlements, or I could have stolen, ‘cough’... Borrowed some of their ships or submarines."
Fang Yun thought sadly. He couldn't find a suitable target to test it or he could have checked how much bio-energy a ship can provide.
However, sooner than he expected, he found an opportunity.
Three days later, Fang Yun and the giant turtle were, as usual, continuously moving forward along with the established route, but this time, there was a little accident.
Two fleets appeared in front of them.
Fang Yun didn’t find them through sight but through echolocation. They are quite far away, even with his sight, Fang Yun couldn’t accurately spot them.
Indicating for the giant turtle to stop, Fang Yun lifted his head from the sea surface and continuously used sound waves to detect the situation over there.
Two fleets were confronting each other on the sea. One fleet has 20 ships, all of which are ships over 1 kilometer in length, while the other fleet had more ships, reaching 25, but only 10 were over 1 kilometer in size.
The distance between these two fleets is 15 kilometers, but he is currently over 25 kilometers away from the nearest one.
"They are fighting each other."
Suddenly, Fang Yun saw an explosion. From the looks of it, it wasn’t laser weapons, but more of an explosive missile.
Naval battles like this are usually dominated by explosive weapons. After all, laser weapons are much more expensive and can be intercepted by the opponent’s interception system.
This explosive missile didn’t land on the opposite fleet but between them. Although he isn’t sure who was the one who attacked, the other’s interception system should have worked.
"Hmm, let’s go and take a look."
Fang Yun signaled the giant turtle next to him to dive underwater, then leaped forward.
After moving slightly moving forward, which is a bit over 10 kilometers, he was able to clearly see the two fleets.
