-------------------------
"What did I just do?"
Fang Yun looked carefully at the body of the giant whale in front of him. To be precise, its huge mouth.
"I got into its belly, destroyed its internal organs, then came out again.”
"Really, this is too reckless. I could have killed it with no injuries by having a protracted battle. Fortunately, it turned out for the best in the end.”
Fang Yun thought calmly. His defense is almost invincible and his regeneration makes him semi-immortal. Even if laid and did nothing in the whale’s stomach, he still wouldn’ have suffered any harm
"Fortunately, there are not many creatures with similar size on this planet. Smaller sized creatures, even if they have special abilities like this whale, shouldn’t be too troublesome to deal with”
In fact, his skill does grow with each evolution, but the increase they receive with each level isn’t very high.
His current attack skills are “Thunder Domain”, “Overclocking Resonance” and “Energy Beam”. They are three extremely powerful skills, which are more than enough to deal with opponents at this stage, but he doesn’t know about later on.
For example, if he kept a certain distance from the beginning and continued to bombard the whale with these three skills, he could have ended the battle quickly and without a scratch.
It was only due to the fact that his emotions were affected, reducing his reasoning ability, which resulted in him killing the whale in an unconventional way.
"Where should I go now?"
Fang Yun bit the tail of the huge Melville Whale, then slowly dragged it away, planning to eat it in another place.
"I should look for a desert island in the depth of the ocean to act as my temporary base. After growing to seven or eight kilometers, even ten kilometers, I will board Forbidden Land and find what’s there.”
"The Forbidden Land and the Old Land aren’t far from each other. In that case, these two continents and the ocean between them will be my hunting ground.”
Fang Yun thought with a smile on his face.
"I wonder if the humans will worship me like the ones on the Blue Planet did previously. I will solve a lot of trouble for them after all.”
”Splash!!”
Fang Yun appeared on the water surface, in an area far away from Tang Guo and her fleet. This place is very empty and calm. The only thing that can be seen as far as the eyes can go is an endless calm blue sea.
The giant turtle was always following Fang Yun. It circled around him, then swam to the other end of the giant whale and bit at the other end of its tail. Together with Fang Yun, it dragged he giant whale forward.
"Haa, just in the right time, my cheeks were getting sour from dragging this heavy bastard for such a long distance."
Fang Yun suddenly opened his mouth, letting go of the whale.
For a while, the turtle was the only one dragging the giant whale away, causing it to look at Fang Yun with eyes full of complaints, but Fang Yun ignored that. He swam to the side of the whale, then started eating it.
While Fang Yun was happily eating in a certain corner of the sea, Tang Guo and her crew stared at the holographic screen without blinking. Even if the sea surface has calmed down a long time ago.
More importantly, that lethal and frightening roar has disappeared as well.
"It's over?"
Tang Guo thought internally.
"Did that sea serpent win?"
However, the serpent disappeared as well. Was uncle Zhou Guess spot on, did the two monsters die together?
"Bai Yun, go down and check the situation underwater."
Uncle Zhou who was standing next to Tang Guo said, followed by a small warship in their fleet slowly landing on the sea surface.
After landing on the sea surface smoothly, they sent many underwater robots to check the situation.
After some inspection, no strange movement was found underwater.
Therefore, all the airships in the air slowly lowered their heights. After landing on the sea surface, countless underwater robots and precise machines were sent to scout the situation, but so far, there was no discovery.
"Let’s leave this place for now."
Uncle Zhou decisively gave this order. No one knows the result of the previous battle, so they can’t risk it. Furthermore, it doesn’t seem possible to pick up the fruits of this battle.
Tang Guo had no objection, so just a few minutes later, the fleet reversed its course and went away from that place.
At the same time, Uncle Zhou sent a message to the marine police about this matter for them to continue the investigation.
"Was that guy...truly that giant snake?"
Tang Guo laid on her bed, looking the holographic screen above her with a dull gaze. She was still shocked from the previous encounter.
She sent several more messages to that guy, but he didn’t reply at all.
"God, am I really chatting with a giant snake?"
Tang Guo felt her common sense shattering.
"Aren't these giant monsters without wisdom? That’s the edge humans used to corner and even hunt those legendary monsters with tremendous power"
Regarding Tang Guo’s encounter with the two giant monsters. It caused a sensation in the human world and a much bigger one than every incident caused before.
"Two extremely powerful sea monsters entered the hunting area."
The news host stared at the camera in front of him and said.
"Their disastrous battle caused 5 ships to overturn and 378 casualties.”
"Reasons on why there are monsters of such level in the hunting area is still under investigation.”
After the news was broadcasted, it caused great controversy within the masses. First is the giant serpent with a length of 5 kilometers, then the giant whale with a length of 10 kilometers.
The results of that battle are still undecided as even after searching for a long time, the marine police still found nothing.
Some people think that the giant serpent won, but more think that the Melville whale won.
Fang Yun's image data was taken, but it didn't arouse great suspicion. All sea monsters over 1 kilometer in size possess abilities. The only eye-catching thing is that this serpent demonstrated two abilities, which is quite unusual.
The reason why no one recognized him, for now, is that few people who lived in the disaster era remain up till this point. The number of generations humans have passed through since they came to this planet is quite large.
In the past, especially after just arriving on this planet, everyone, regardless of gender, was required to help in the war activities, expand their bases and living area, and drive all the monsters from the Pacific-Asia continent.
So, the number of people who remember the name of the giant serpent is very few.
Only in some dusty archives, there are some records of its existence.
After all, compared with materials about their new planet and the vast universe outside, materials about the blue planet and a monster a few hundred meters long don’t seem relevant, even if the said monster had contributed a lot to the survival of humanity.
Moreover, although this incident sounds tragic, it didn’t actually reach the higher-ups of the federation. Most of their attention right now is concentrated on the Old Land and the alien civilizations nearby.
"Xiao Guo, how do you feel?"
A middle-aged man looked at the dazed Tang Guo with a face full of affection and concern.
"Do you feel better?"
He is Tang Guo's father, Tang Rong, chairman of the Tang Group.
After his baby daughter came back from the sea hunting trip, she had been in a daze all day. He thought that it might be a shock because of the things she went through in this journey, which caused him to feel heartbreak for his daughter’s pain.
"If I knew this, I wouldn’t have allowed her to go to the sea"
”I must be crazy, why must Xiao Guo inherit the family company? As long as she is safe and happy, it doesn’t matter what happens to the company."
"When Xiao Guo expressed her desire to go to the sea, I should have rejected her. The sea is too dangerous, what would happen to me if I lost her?”
Tang Rong started thinking about the cause and effect, then started blaming himself even more.
"Dad."
Suddenly, Tang Guo raised her head and said.
"Dad, do sea monsters have wisdom?"
"Wisdom?"
Tang Rong looked at his daughter with a surprised look, wondering why she would ask this.
"If those monsters had wisdom, humanity would have long gone extinct.”
Having wisdom means that a creature is an advanced intelligent creature.
Just thinking about it caused him to shiver. If all sea and land monsters had wisdom, with their superior power and vitality, humans wouldn’t have had the power to fight back.
Even if an all-out war is started, it’s likely that the monster side will win at the end.
After all, sea monsters have the ocean as their cover, so their greatest weapon doesn’t have much of an effect on them.
Tang Guo was silent after hearing this. She became more confused, at the same time very curious.
"Dad, I want to enter your research institute."
Tang Guo raised her head and solemnly said to Tang Rong.
