"Xiao Li, what's the situation?"
Ten minutes ago, Lu Cheng was told that the central space control center has received a strange electromagnetic wave from one of their aircraft.
After getting the report, Lu Cheng immediately put down the things he was dealing with and hurried to deal with this unexpected incident.
Beside him, a bald man had a solemn look on his face. The aircraft they sent into space is their most advanced creation. They can sense the slightest electromagnetic wave in space, intercept it, then send it back to them.
Of course, not every intercepted electromagnetic signal requires them to call Lu Cheng. Only after a strict analysis and screening, and after detecting that it’s not an ordinary signal will they send the information to Lu Cheng.
For example, the electromagnetic signal they received a day ago is one such case. Furthermore, this signal isn’t weakening but rather becoming more and more intense.
"It should be some kind of Spacecraft."
Director Hu, the bald man, explained to Lu Cheng, "Elder Lu, according to my speculation, I am afraid that an alien spaceship is quickly approaching the earth.”
He had a solemn look on his face.
"Their spacecraft is very fast. At least in terms of speed and power, it’s leagues above our most advanced spaceship, Rover 1”
Lu Cheng looked at the screen in front of him. A flickering line is flashing on it, and with time this line is becoming more and more stable.
"Did you tell Old Feng about this?"
The Old Feng that Lu Cheng is talking about is also one of the seven elders. He is mainly in charge of space-related matters.
The current Blue Planet Federation is incomparable to its former self when it just arrived on this planet. Their technology has reached a very advanced level.
In addition to the air and marine forces, they also formed a space force. As the name suggests, it’s for space combat.
Their current most powerful weapons are laser and other energy weapons. The Federation has spent an unbelievable amount of time and resources on making these laser weapons and spaceships, hence their power can be imagined.
However, their spaceships have a huge shortcoming. Their travel speed in space is incredibly slow. They also tried to recreate the wormhole technology created but the Weiner people, but they never managed to succeed.
They did get information about this technology from the Star Tree as the Weiner race managed to create it in the past, but they are stuck in many areas, the most important one being energy.
In order to create a wormhole, they need an incredibly large amount of energy. Not only that but to mount it on a spaceship, they need to compress the energy source to a size that can be easily carried by it. Unfortunately, they are far from being able to do so.
Currently, it’s unknown how many years it will take them to create this technology, but they don’t seem to have the time to do so.
In the earth’s orbit, the Blue Planet Federation sent a total of five spacecraft, each of which is more than 1 kilometer long. The five of them moved in a circular manner around the earth.
Once there is an emergency, they can quickly escape from the earth’s gravity and truly enter space to start the operation.
In addition to these five spaceships, they have another 50 hidden on the earth. As long as there’s a need, the Federation can quickly send these 50 spaceships into space.
Overall, the Federation’s current space military power is quite strong. Even if they can’t invade or attack other planets, they still can defend their own planet. They aren’t as helpless as before when it comes to the matter of space.
"I have already notified Elder Feng."
Director Hu nodded, "Elder Feng has already issued the order for the five spacecraft to accelerate and break away from the earth gravitational pull. In addition, the spacecraft in the space base is ready to go to space anytime.”
After hearing Director Hu's words, Lu Cheng nodded.
"You should also call elder Qin. Tell him to prepare his air force as well. We must do our best preparation"
After passing the order down, Lu Cheng frowned while staring at the screen in front of him. Suddenly, the man young man sitting in front of the display screen suddenly straightened up. He quickly pointed his fingers at the operation panel and said.
"Elder Lu, Director, the electromagnetic fluctuations sent by the third aircraft are becoming more and more intense. Maybe the cameras will soon capture the guy coming towards us!”
The young man sitting in front of the operation panel tapped on a few buttons. Suddenly the graf on the screen disappeared, replaced by a dark screen with a few luminous dots in the background.
This is a projection of the starry sky.
The space is very dark. Although looking for the earth, the sky is usually densely packed with stars, the distance between them is actually ginormous.
Just like this aircraft no.3. The images passed by its camera is that of pitch-black darkness. Of course, if they use their most advanced telescope, they should be able to clearly see distant planets and stars.
However, they are currently just using their high-powered camera, so they can only see the nearby area of space.
The young man sitting in front of the display screen started adjusting the angle of the early warning aircraft. He aimed at the area where the signal is the strongest, using other aircraft to get a better perspective from other viewing angles.
"This……"
Lu Cheng's breathing suddenly stagnated, his eyes were fixed on the display screen in front of them.
A while dot suddenly appeared on the screen, and as time passed the dot became bigger and bigger, finally exposing its true appearance on the screen.
"A spaceship!"
After seeing the real appearance of the small white dot, Lu Cheng directly shouted. He took a deep breath, his expression extremely solemn.
"Director Hu, immediately send a warning message to that spacecraft. By the way, send a message to the space station about the appearance of this spaceship."
"Call Elder Feng right away and ask him to prepare all the spaceships for battle.”
"In addition..."
Lu Cheng looked up at Director Hu with a serious look on his face.
"Notify the Ninth Secret Service to let them activate the NinthHeaven energy device."
"Yes."
After hearing Lu Cheng's instructions, Director Hu immediately saluted then walked away to execute the orders he received.
The NinthHeaven energy device is located in the core of the Earth. This device is used to convert geothermal heat into usable energy.
As long as this device is activated, a wormhole can be created on the Earth. This is their last trump card and escape route.
After obtaining the wormhole technology from the aboriginal people of the Earth, they used an untold amount of resources and manpower to create such an escape route. After all, although they aren’t located in the liveliest area of the galaxy, they are still quite close to it.
They need an escape route, in case something went fatally wrong, they can preserve the last embers of humanity.
