---------------------------
Thor and the rest of his crew looked at each other, they found that this situation is very weird. Thor raised his hand, signaling for the fleet to stop.
The place where the humpback whale was attacked was about ten meters underwater. Even with his eyesight, he was able to see a blurry shadow at that depth and at a distance of more than 1 kilometer.
The same is true of his son Angelo.
So, for the questions of their companions.
"Thor, Angelo, did you see something?"
They could only shake his heads.
The five ships gradually stopped. The scarlet blood pool in front of them continued spreading forward, causing their faces to be dignified.
What is certain is that they encountered an incident that even an experienced hunter like Thor has never encountered.
A 300-meter-long humpback whale was killed without any resistance in front of them, and they didn't see any trace of the attacker.
The most important thing is that neither their sonar nor their life detection instrument responded.
"The thing that attacked the humpback whale is a creature that can avoid sonar detection."
Thor quickly came to this conclusion.
Although very rare, this kind of creature is not nonexistent. They are generally called stealth-type creatures.
Occasionally, some fishermen or hunting teams encounter them. If they encounter small-sized stealth-type creatures, then they will experience some mild trouble at best, but if they encounter large-sized ones, then even hunting teams are in danger of destruction.
Now, what is the level of a stealth-type creature that can instantly kill a 300 meters long humpback whale?
Thor started feeling that his mouth turned dry, his heart filled with nervousness.
"Everyone pays close attention to the surroundings of the ships. If you notice even the smallest ripples on water, immediately inform me."
Thor yelled loudly. Executing his orders, all sailors ran towards the edge of all the five ships. Everyone stared closely at the water surface, looking for any slight movement.
The calm sea that was once regarded by Thor and the rest of the fishermen as a blessing from the goddess, turned into an oppressive sea that caused everyone to feel the pressure.
"Pfft, poor guys."
While Thor and his crew were looking for the scary large-size stealth-type creature, a huge serpent was dragging the body of a broken whale in the depth of the sea.
While leisurely hunting this humpback whale, Fang Yun noticed the human fleet not far from them.
As usual, he decided to not expose himself. killing the humpback whale in a very covert way.
He launched an extremely fast attack from below the humpback whale. He directly bit off a large chunk of its belly, including its internal organs, instantly killing it.
His current diameter is close to two hundred meters. He doesn't need to stretch his mouth like an ordinary snake, just a random small bite is enough to almost split the humpback whale in half.
Finally, he quietly dragged off the humpback whale's body without creating any noise.
His scales can avoid electromagnetic waves, sonic waves, and almost all types of explorations, so he didn't worry about being discovered from the beginning.
He was very satisfied with the results of his actions this time.
He didn't appear from the beginning to the end, but he still scared those people a lot. It's conceivable that they will continue looking for the stealth-type monster for a long time with fear.
Even while leaving, they must be very frightened.
His act of silently hunting the Whale is more effective than directly appearing.
After all, appearing in front of those people is indeed enough to scare them, but after that?
Fang Yun isn't planning to eat them, nor attack them, of course, if they don't attack him first. However, after these guys realized that the giant serpent won't eat them, their attitude will definitely change.
In short, his shock effect might be very high at first, but it will gradually weaken with time. Keeping this mysterious font, at least for now, is his best new strategy.
All of this is within his plan to get a lot of reputation points.
As for whether scaring them this much will result in them having mental illnesses, Fang Yun didn't really care about this.
Although he doesn't eat humans, it doesn't mean that he is standing in their camp, nor does it mean that he is their guardian.
As he gets bigger and bigger, his concern about humanity is getting lower. He is now a confident snake, he doesn't fear humanity, but he won't arbitrarily attack them nor will he help them casually. He views them rather neutrally.
It's just that sometimes, he feels mischievous and does like to scare them to relieve his boredom a bit, like now for example.
"I want to leave an indelible shadow on everyone who is at sea!"
Fang Yun thought internally. He already started choosing his future title.
"Lord of shadows? DreadLord? The terminator?"
After thinking for a while, Fang Yun collected his wandering thoughts, focusing his attention back on the humpback whale in his mouth. He directly swallowed it in a single bite.
The giant serpent that was in a good mood roared happily underwater. His powerful roar quickly spread through water, broke through the water surface, then spread to the surrounding 30 kilometers.
The giant turtle that was following behind Fang Yun heard his excited roar and roared similarly with excitement. Its roar also quickly spread through the surrounding area.
In a certain sea area, two eardrum-shattering roars spread at incredible speeds.
The two roars were heard by quite a few people. Thor and his crew were the closest to the source of the roars so they heard them the most clearly.
Some people couldn't handle the violent roar and directly kneeled.
Angelo and his companions were one of them.
After hearing the two eardrum-shattering roars, they landed weakly on the deck due to fear. This is not due to their timidity. wasn't the mighty Thor also pale-faced?
Obviously, this is the roar of the creature which snatched their prey. This creature's voice is too penetrating. It's like someone used knives to dig in their ears.
The sounds of the two giant monsters are similarly thick and deep, plus the interval between them is only a few seconds, which caused Thor and his companions to mistake the owners of the roars for a single creature.
Reminiscent of their previous encounter. It's very likely that the creature that just roared is the stealth-type monster that just snatched their prey.
"It's in front of us."
Thor pointed to the ahead sea and yelled.
"We have to get out of here as soon as possible."
That creature is undoubtedly a giant monster, and it's the most troublesome and dangerous stealth type. Thor was a bit puzzled why it didn't attack their fleet, but he was more thankful for that.
He thought of two possibilities for now. That monster might be full so it didn't attack them, or it might have seen a fleet for the first time so it's acting cautiously.
Anyway, this is their chance.
A, highly likely, kilometer-level monster and one that can't be seen at all isn't something that can be dealt with by their small team, so they have to take the opportunity to escape right now.
Furthermore, they don't need to worry about that monster's sudden attack, that roar has just roughly revealed its position.
Now that they know the position of the mysterious monster, they need to go in the opposite direction of it, and quickly. That monster might come back anytime and attack them.
The five big ships started making a U-turn. After a few minutes, after setting their ships in the correct direction, Thor ordered the fleet to move forward at full speed.
While escaping, Thor kept staring at the situation behind them. For fear of something suddenly attacking their team.
After reaching the safety zone, he pressed on the emergency button then informed the nearby marine police about their situation.
This is a rule to ensure the safety of the contestants.
If a participating team of the SMHG encounters special events in the ocean, they can notify the nearby patrols through the emergency communication channel.
After the signal was connected, Thor yelled directly into the microphone.
"We are in trouble!"
Immediately afterward, he reported their current location to the marine police and briefly described their situation.
"We encountered a stealth-type sea monster, and it's extremely large. It instantly killed a 300-meters long humpback whale then dragged it away."
After this, Thor played on the roar they recorded before.
Although it's just a record, the majestic roar still caused them to have goosebumps.
This news was quickly recorded by the marine police, then transmitted to the public channel, to alert the other teams in the area.
As expected, this news caused a sensation in area 3.
They didn't find any pirates, but a special sea monster has appeared.
"A 300 meters long humpback whale was instantly killed. This mysterious creature should be a kilometer-level one. If my boss wasn't so obsessed with catching the mysterious whale in area 5, then we would definitely go to area 3"
An anonymous guy spoke on the public channel.
"The third area is getting more and more lively. Fortunately, I chose the third district from the beginning. Haha, children, pray that's it's me who will encounter these troublemakers, or you will be in deep trouble."
"Special Sea Monsters like the stealth type can be sold for sky-high prices. Moreover, it's a kilometer-level creature. Unfortunately, I'm not nearby or I would have caught it."
"Haha, my new military-grade laser canon is already hungry and thirsty."
"My super explosive missiles are ready for anything."
The third area can be said to have caught the attention of the majority of humans. In fact, many teams chose to go to that area.
Feng Yun would have been happy to hear this, he has never considered these hunting teams a threat, no matter how big it is.
All of his previous actions were to gather attention on the "Mysterious Stealth-Type Monster", to gather reputation points.
Isn't this the effect he wanted?
