-----------------------------
After seeing what the leading boy was pointing at, the eys of the rest of the children widened in surprise.
"Let's go and see."
The boy who first noticed the thing ahead beckoned at his companions, then ran ahead.
The other five children quickly followed behind him. Although they might all be children, with the current advancement of the Blue Planet's biotechnology and their environment filled with monsters. Even children of their age possess an incredibly high physical fitness.
In a short period of time, they reached the target location and looked ahead.
In front of them, there are many giant pits.
Each one of these giant pits has a diameter of almost 10 meters.
"What is this?"
One of the tallest boys squatted down and looked at the giant pits in front of them.
These pits are very deep. They can't even see the bottom. In fact, most of these pits are filled with water. They wondered whether the pits are so deep that they are connected to the ocean below or whether they were filled with rainwater.
There are a lot of such similar pits, but each one of them is connected in a straight line, forming a trail extending from the beach to the jungle ahead.
The children looked at these pits and the jungle not far away with a nervous look. If they guessed correctly, some creatures might have left those pits.
The giant trees in the jungle ahead rustled along with the wind blowing. It's hard to imagine that a giant monster is hiding in there, waiting for unsuspecting prey to approach.
"We should tell this thing to Dad."
The boy who first discovered the giant pits said with a trembling voice. He took a last look at the jungle, then led his companions back towards the ship.
Ten minutes later, the boy came back with several adults. The leading man has long hair, a bushy long beard, and an extremely burly figure. He has to be over 2 meters tall. The other men following behind him looked like children in comparison to him.
"Thor, it looks like a giant monster walked here not long ago."
An adult man squatted on the ground and carefully inspected the deep pits. After a moment, he stood up and said to the buff man at the head of the team.
Thor didn't reply to the man, he was checking on the pits himself. The more he looked at them, the more he furrowed his brows.
A lot of traces are were actually erased, it should have been due to the heavy rain before,
His sight wandered to the jungle in the middle of the island. He noticed that a lot of plants and even the dozens of meters tall trees are crushed. What his companion has said is very likely true, a giant creature walked on this place before.
"Going by the fact that these pits are so deep, did a giant crab pass by here?"
Thor thought of this possibility, but carefully looking at these "footprints", they aren't like the footprints of a crab. There are fives deep pits lined next to each other, and there are many similar pits about a few hundred meters away.
They look like the traces left by the foot of some fort of a walking creature.
Although they aren't sure what kind of creature it is, this creature must be very huge.
"Hahaha, Thor, this likely to be the nest of a high-level sea monster. If we can hunt it, we should be able to sell if for a sky-high price."
"Yes, Thor. If we can hunt it, we might be able to buy a new airship. Which we can use to bring more villagers with us and hunt more sea monsters."
Many of the people accompanying thor looked very excited, almost seeing the profits they will get after hunting such a giant creature. However, Thor looked very calm compared to them.
He knew that it won't be easy to hunt a creature of such size. Even if they make adequate preparations, they might still not be able to hunt it.
Judging from this footprint alone, this must be some kind of incredibly huge and powerful creature. Even for big teams, catching such prey isn't an easy matter.
"Let's go back to the village first."
Thor said, then walked back to the ship. The others didn't say anything else, they followed him silently.
Soon, they repaired the ship on this desert island, then they boarded it and sailed back towards their village.
Thor and his crew are from Blue Lotus village, the first village Fang Yun saw after arriving in this world. After returning to their village, they started acting. They prepared all the required utensils they need to bring to the sea.
There are a total of five ships in their village, so they can participate in the best hunting games. Not to mention that they are going to join forces with the people of other villages.
"What, Thor, you the traces of a giant creature?"
The people in the village were all surprised when they heard Thor's words, after which they became very excited.
However, when Thor informed them of the possible size of that creature, most people's enthusiasm cooled down.
"This might be a giant creature with a size of more than 1000 meters, we should not underestimate it."
Thor warned the villagers.
Later on, he instructed the villagers to load more weapons on the ships this time. At the same time, he also went to the main cities to buy tools powerful enough to kill that creature.
They did announce their discovery nor their actions to other people, because the more people know the lower their chances of hunting the said creature.
Even if this giant creature is extremely powerful, as long as they have the chance, they certainly won't give up.
The growth and prosperity of their village are resting on their shoulders after all.
It wasn't just the Blue Lotus village preparing for the beast hunting game ten days later. Many people across the continent were preparing for this game.
Some companies doing 'sea monsters hunting businesses' have already taken action. Some have even started to contact the corresponding hunting village and famous hunting teams.
At the same time, maps about hunting areas were also published.
In fact, the entire hunting area is just a very small portion of the ocean, which is basically an area about double the size of the 'West Mediterranean Sea' from the Blue Planet.
The entire hunting area can be roughly divided into 9 areas. From area 1 to area 9.
Among them, the Blue Lotus village is located in the third area.
The rest of the ocean outside of the hunting area is forbidden. In those places, giant and powerful monsters can be seen everywhere. Even creatures over the size of 1 kilometer are common over there.
Sometimes even with advanced airships and motherships, they don't dare to provoke those monsters.
The sea monsters living inside the hunting area are basically creatures with the size of dozens to hundreds of meters, which is basically equivalent to kaiju between level 2 and level 5.
The overlord-level creatures in the hunting area are basically ones that are over 1 kilometer long. Most of them are a bit weaker than level 6 kaiju. Even so, only top teams and teams supported by major companies can hunt them.
Of course, there is no absolute thing, many accidents happen every year. Some teams do go over the hunting area limits every year, which usually results in disasters and large casualties.
Although there is the governement reminder. In the face of large profits, some teams still get adventurous and try to go over the hunting area limits to capture some big and rare creatures.
Regarding the upcoming 'Sea Monsters Hunting Game' that will happen ten days later, Fang Yun finally learned about it through the internet.
"Hmm, so this 'Sea Monsters Hunting Game' will start in ten days."
Fang Yun was swimming carelessly next to the giant turtle. Even on a different planet, the giant turtle can still attract a large number of creatures, so Fang Yun is still eating a large number of marine creatures just by laying next to the giant turtle.
"I wonder if humans will recognize me after seeing me again."
The Blue Planet Federation has entered the space vortex almost 8à years ahead of him. Now that such a long time has passed, the generation that participated in the kaiju war back on the Blue Planet should be dead?
If it's the new generation that is populating this planet right now, then he as the Giant Serpent should be something new to them.
"Perhaps, this is an opportunity to increase my reputation points."
His reputation is currently about 13 billion points. He wants to try and see if he could reach 15 billion by appearing in front of the new generation of humans.
