------------------------------
At that time, Fang Yun actually hesitated for a while. Normally, he won't hesitate to launch an attack. Kill that creature, then eat it.
It's just that this Melville whale size was way beyond his expectations. Furthermore, whether it's "Energy Beam" or "Overclocking Resonance", their effect gets weakened too much underwater, especially at a depth of 10 kilometers.
Even "Thunder Domain" doesn't work very well at such depths. Physical power alone probably won't be enough to kill a creature that is almost triple his size, so in the end, he gave up on attacking it and each went on his own way.
Anyway, the number of giant monsters and marine creatures on this planet is almost endless, so he doesn't really feel like working hard to defeat such a tricky opponent.
The marine species on this planet are basically the giant versions of the creatures on the Blue Planet. Table-sized crabs, car-sized deep-sea lobsters, building-sized octopuses, plane-sized squids, etc...
Seeing all of those familiar creatures caused Fang Yun to wonder whether this planet and the Blue Planet are somewhat connected?
Fang Yun swam unscrupulously in the depth of the ocean. One of the most striking things he noticed about the oceans of this planet is that the ocean isn't dark even at the depth of 10 kilometers.
Of course, this light does not come from the sun, but from the plankton on the seafloor. The body of these creatures is always emitting light, lighting up the seafloor for who knows how many kilometers.
These plankton are a bit like parasites. Many fish and shrimps swallow them every day, but after their death, the planktons will drill out from these fish and shrimps bodies, then use them as nutrients to spread even further.
This is Fang Yun's conclusion based on a few days of observation.
He saw the corpses of many small fishes, glowing like light bulbs, then small worm-like creatures, several centimeters long, crawls out from their open mouth. If it wasn't for his supernatural vision, he won't even be able to see them.
The number of such worms and similar glowing plankton is uncountable. Them and the small fish that devour them, then become their nutrients after death constitute a stable food chain holding up the ecology of the entire ocean.
The oceans of this planet are also much deeper than the oceans of Blue Planet. The deepest place in this ocean is over 20,000 meters, that is the area where Fang Yun is currently located.
Furthermore, the bottom of the ocean of this planet isn't as lonely as that of the Blue Planet. There are many large and terrifying monsters swimming at such depths, such as the Melville whale he saw before.
"Unfortunately, the Kaiju remaining in this world are in the hands of the human governement, and their control is very strict."
Fang Yun learned on the Internet that those Kaiju were the original product of the Weiner race, they were created by copying the genes of the monsters roaming this planet. Right now, the Blue Planet Federation is studying level 7 kaiju.
It's unknown whether they are already created or not, he didn't find anything about them on the internet.
In fact, the news about kaiju as a whole is rare on the internet. These creatures seem to be one of the Blue Planet Federation's ultimate weapons, so news about them is very rare.
This time, things are different from what they used to be on the Blue Planet, the human leaders are holding their most powerful weapons as top secret.
Although things might seem calm on the surface, the Blue Planet Federation is secretly preparing for war against the things on the Old Land, and something on the Forbidden Land.
"Speaking of which, I'm really curious about what's in The Forbidden Land"
Fang Yun swallowed some giant crabs while thinking. With furrowed brows, he was eating a large number of crabs like potato chips, producing the sound of crushing from time to time.
The third continent, the Forbidden Land is quite popular on the internet. There are a lot of discussions about it, most of which are about the reason why people will become crazy and insane after stepping on it.
Some say that it's a weird magnetic field that's making the creature on that continent crazy. Some say that it's some sort of creature or object. Anyway, there are a lot of different opinions about that matter on the internet.
All of these discussions and speculations caused Fang Yun to be very curious about this Forbidden Land. He had the impulse to go check what's on it.
Fortunately, his mind is still sober, he knew that it's not the time to go to the Forbidden Land and check its situation.
About seven days later, Fang Yun rushed towards the island where the giant turtle is resting. He is worried about its injury and situation.
It has been half a month since they came to the Earth. With the resilience of the giant turtle, it should have almost recovered.
While on his way back to the giant turtle, due to his proximity to the human living area, he was able to connect to the internet. His current favorite website is called "dog eggs".
It's an open forum where a lot of silly and bored people talk about the current major events happening in the world, and even posting memes about them.
Most importantly, he finally figured out how to post his own article and comment on other people's posts himself.
"Haha! I can finally talk to other people. I was reincarnated as a snake, ask me anything."
This is a Post Fang Yun published on this forum not long ago. After posting it, he didn't care about it for a while, now that he opened it, he found a lot of comments under it.
"I have nothing to ask. Before you became a snake, I was already ouroboros"
"OP(Original Poster), did you get laid as a snake?"
"This was already used before, OP, can't you get anything new. For example, pretend that you were reincarnated as a Kaiju."
"What OP said is true, I was bitten by him before."
"Commenters above, what Op said might not be a lie, give him some real questions, LOL."
As Fang Yun read the comments, he felt very amused. Some people pretended to believe what he said and asked what are his feelings right now. Others said that if the wild is too harsh for him, he can go to then and be a pet snake.
Fang Yun randomly replied to a few of those comments before disconnecting to the internet. The reason he did so is that he reached the island where the turtle is.
Fang Yun could already see the round shell of the turtle as it laid lazily on the island.
"Owww!"
Feeling that Fang Yun is approaching, the giant turtle raised its head and howled softly at Fang Yun, seemingly blaming him for leaving it alone here for so long.
Suddenly, the giant turtle pillar-like legs started moving. Its giant sickle-like claws left deep grooves on the soft sand as it moved forward.
The giant turtle plunged into the water, then swam towards him.
Fang Yun observed its injuries. The injuries on its limbs and head are completely healed. Shallow cracks are still visible on its shell, but its situation is much better than before.
Although the giant turtle's healing factor is far from compared to him, it's still leagues above most creatures.
Overall, the giant turtle has mostly healed, it can already act freely.
Fang Yun looked very happy. Now that the turtle has basically healed, he basically can go hunt without worries. Furthermore, he can go hunting in farther locations, without having to worry about the turtle getting eaten by other creatures.
While Fang Yun continued on his journey of seeking food, the human world was boiling because of the annual hunting monsters game.
It wasn't just the main cities and densely populated areas, even the sparsely populated places and villages in the corner of the world were excited due to this event.
Participating in this game requires a very prepared team. Each team must have a fleet consisting of at least 5 ships, and each ship must be hundreds of meters long.
It can be an airship, marine ship, and even submarine. As long they reach the requirements, they can be counted.
With the constant advancement of technology, old marine ships, submarines, airships, and even motherships have been put into civilian use. The current technology level of the Earth is way beyond the Blue Planet.
Most of the airships and marine ships used in the battle against the kaiju on the Blue Planet have been eliminated as new technologies were developed.
In fact, The current military strength of the Earth is hundreds of times higher than what it used to be in the peaceful age on the Blue Plane.
It can be said that a random team participating in this monster hunting event can take down a top country in the old age. Of course, if not counting nuclear bombs.
.............
On the seventh day that after Fang Yun and the Giant Turtle left, a 100 meters long ship docked on the desert island where the giant turtle was living in.
It was a civilian vessel, a fishing boat.
The boat had a little problem and needed repairs, so after docking the boat on the desert island, the fishermen started working.
The children playing on the deck should be their children.
Being very bored on the boat, they jumped on the island then started running around along the beach. One of the boys noticed something ahead. He said with a surprised look on his face.
"Look, what is that over there?"
There were three boys and two girls running behind him. Hearing his cry, they followed his finger and looked at the place he was pointing at.
