---------------------------
Thinking of this, Moriko's original relaxed posture immediately straightened. As a Blue Planet Federation executive, one of the high-levels of the human race, she has the obligation to think about the future of humans.
Since something in The Forbidden Land can affect the Weiner race, can it also affect humans?
She thinks that it's quite possible. In fact, this has already happened before. Any human that entered the Forbidden Land will instantly go crazy. This might be due to their weak mental strength, but the effect of that area on humans is undeniable.
In addition, even staying in the Old Land for a long time can affect human minds. For now, only the Pacific-Asia continent is suitable for human survival.
"What kind of messed up world is this?"
Moriko exhaled lightly. She was feeling a bit depressed, after thinking about the information she received for a while, she unconsciously fell asleep on the sofa.
She is very tired.
On the other side, the old man who talked with Moriko turned off the communication device and turned to the people in front of him.
"Everyone, you have heard Moriko. She said that this "pathogen" holds a significant meaning. I think that it's necessary to figure out what this word means."
Looking at the senior executives of the major departments in front of him, Lu Cheng said with a serious look.
"It's possible that this thing is what caused the native creatures on the Blue Planet and even on Earth to mutate."
"There is that possibility, but we can't really confirm that for now."
"President Lu, you can rest assured that our special teams will collect more of the star tree roots and come back."
Suddenly, a middle-aged man stood up and said seriously to Lu Cheng.
"Oh, Lin Ye, I am more at ease with you."
President Lu smiled, sat back on his seat, and said.
"How are things on the Old Land's side, things haven't gotten worse?"
Speaking of this, he had a serious look on his face.
It wasn't just him, everyone looked at the man called Lin Ye with solemn faces.
Up to now, it can basically be determined that some kind of creature or object is responsible for the massive changes on this planet the "Earth".
They aren't sure if that creature or object is in the Old Land or the Forbidden Land, so they are a bit worried that their team will have a conflict with the said creature if it's on the Old Land.
Although, they might be excessively worrying, as the Blue Planet Federation leaders, they have to take a lot of things into consideration.
They certainly have to step into the Old Land, the meat and blood of the Old Land creatures are very beneficial to humans. The flesh of these creatures can not only increase humans' physical fitness, but it can also increase their life expectancy.
There are also many resources and natural energy there, which will allow them to upgrade their weapons and technology even further.
In addition, waiting for the disaster to come isn't a good move, what happened to the Blue Planet previously is proof of that. Taking the previous disaster as a lesson, they have been actively trying to understand this planet and the source of its change.
The old man surnamed Lu is the previous first leader of the human federation, Lu Cheng. Even after coming to this new planet, he still remains as one of the top leaders of the human federation.
He is mostly in charge of the military department and the matters related to the Old Land.
"No problems have been found so far, sir."
Lin Ye reported to Lu Cheng.
"Sir, although our manpower is tight, our troops will always fight on the front line of the Old Land."
"You really know how to act tragic and pitiful."
Lu Cheng sighed and said.
"You can rest assured that I will allocate two more teams to you in two days. Remember, don't let those animals cross the border connecting the Old Land with Pacific-Asia."
After hearing those words, Lin Ye smiled cheerfully, he patted his chest confidently and said.
"Leader Lu, I guarantee to complete the task."
Lu Cheng shook his head ridiculously, just as he was about to tease Lin Ye, he suddenly remembered something.
"Yes, Lin Ye, organize the Ocean Department to hold a game of beast hunting in a few days. You should use the old point system. Teams will get a certain amount of points after hunting a certain giant monster. After the end of the game, you can exchange some of our old airship models, money, and body strengthening potions to the top teams."
Sea monsters, just like the monsters on the Old Land are extremely useful to them. So they will encourage people to hunt them every year.
Hence, the game of beast hunting was created.
In fact, it's not just the top teams who will get the rewards. Even low ranking ones will get bountiful rewards as long as they exchange the bodies of the monsters they hunted.
For the people who live by hunting, this once in a year event is a way of making fortunes.
During this event, as long as the contestants hunt sea monsters from the ocean, they can sell them to the governement at a price higher than that of the market.
This kind of competition has actually a rather high degree of danger. After all, monsters won't just let people hunt them. Even so, many people participate in it each year due to the rich rewards.
Due to the fact that it's an official yearly event, many areas are protected by official forces, but there are still many casualties every year. The Ocean Departement forces are limited after all.
Hearing Lu Cheng's instructions, Lin Ye nodded seriously.
After the end of the sea monsters Hunt every year, a large number of sea monsters will be killed. The bodies of those monsters are treasures that all major departments fight for.
"Okay, the meeting will end here."
Lu Cheng ended the meeting, picked up a folder, then walked out of the meeting room.
While walking, he was frowning slightly.
Lu Cheng was still thinking about the "pathogen" that Moriko mentioned before. The more he thought about it, the more he felt that the meaning of this word is very important.
In addition, there is also the "SkyRiver Civilization" which deserves their attention.
"It's a headache. The Weiner race has caused such a disaster to the Blue Planet with its invasion, and now, there is an even more powerful civilization not far from us."
"Sigh... The future of Mankind isn't looking very bright."
With a bitter smile, Lu Cheng took the elevator downstairs. He needs to discuss the news he heard with the leaders of other provinces.
……
Fang Yun was happily swimming in the ocean. He didn't know that the date of a yearly hunting event is approaching, and the area where he is located is one of the hunting grounds.
In the past few days, he had been frantically devouring marine creatures and gathering bio-energy.
Occasionally, he will go ashore to visit the giant turtle. He is quite worried that some creature will take advantage of his younger brother's injury and eat him.
Fang Yun thought at first that he and the giant turtle will be unrivaled in this sea. After all, their size is in the kilometers, which is way beyond any other creature he saw before. Except for the kaiju mother of course.
However, after a certain encounter yesterday, Fang Yun dispelled this idea.
At that time, he was hunting at a depth of more than 10 kilometers when he suddenly detected that a huge creature was approaching him.
It's a Melville whale.
However, it's ridiculously large, more than 2 times larger than Fang Yun. That Melville whale was over 10 kilometers long.
The encounter between the two of them didn't result in a conflict. Apart from the short confrontation between them, each one of them went on his way.
