Chapter 259: The Spy Snake
🕑 Added 2020-05-19 01:52:52 +0000 UTCIn a meeting room, the atmosphere was extremely heavy.
The important members of the three major powers all sat in their seats. This is a meeting at the highest level.
At the forefront of the conference table, three majestic old men sat, they are the leaders of the 'Bald Eagle' country, 'Panda country', and the 'Polar Bear' country. At the same time, they are the highest leaders of the human alliance.
Suddenly, the leader of 'Panda country' stood up and said to the rest of the people in the meeting room.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, this time we called you because we have had an extremely important discovery."
His eyes drifted to the other end of the long table. There are two men standing over there, Monan and Zhen Zhou.
Bearing the sights of so many big shots, the two of them could hardly keep their composure.
"This is Captain Monan and his subordinate Zhen Zhou."
The leader of 'Panda country' introduced the two of them, then continued talking.
"Previously, Captain Monan took the Z-76 battleship and traveled straight ahead, crossing a distance of more than 25,000 kilometers."
Hearing this old man's claim, the sound of hushed discussions sounded in the meeting room. No one dared to go that deep into this sea area before.
"Mr.Lu Cheng, so this Captain Monan has discovered something? It is...The aliens base?"
Next to Panda country's leader Lu Cheng, the 'Bald Eagle's president suddenly said. the 'Bald Eagle' country's leader is also an elderly old man with white hair, beard, tall nose, blue eyes, and a little Mediterranean look.
"Yes, Mr.Wilson."
Lu Cheng nodded solemnly.
"This matter is about the destiny of human civilization."
Hearing this sentence, the 'Bald Eagle' president looked very dignified.
"They saw the alien's base?"
His eyes were locked on Monan and Zhen Zhou, making the two more nervous. Especially the latter, he looked very nervous and uncomfortable.
"Monan, start the video you shot."
Lu Cheng sat down and waved.
Monan nodded solemnly, turned on the projector, then began to explain.
"At that time we were all planning to return, but it was at then that we had an amazing discovery."
Suddenly, a holographic screen appeared on the opposite wall.
On the screen, there is an endless sea. The water surface is very calm, apart from the occasional ripples. Due to the high-resolution camera, the scene is very clear.
This is nothing new. All the people in this meeting room have seen this scene so many time, they grew tired of it.
However, Lu Cheng and Wilson patiently waited for what's next. About ten seconds later, something strange appeared in the constantly moving forward screen.
The first thing that caught their eyes was a sharp corner of an island, covered with a layer of lush giant trees.
As the battleship continued moving forward, more and more parts of this "island" were displayed on the projection screen.
The exotic scenery didn't surprise the leaders in the meeting room, they saw similar scenes many times before.
But shortly afterward, another thing appeared
"That is……"
Wilson beside Lu Cheng abruptly stood up. He stared at the scene on the projected screen with wide eyes.
The other people in the conference room are basically the same. Only Lu Cheng who has seen this video before kept his composure.
On the holographic screen. There is an azure sea, a big island contrasted sharply with the endless blue sea. On the giant island, there is a giant round mountain, covered with trees and lakes.
That mountain is extremely huge, probably over 10 kilometers high, that's even bigger than the biggest mountain recorded in the past era, but its diameter is even bigger, as they can't even see its end.
Although this is quite surprising, it's not enough to cause the human leaders to lose their composure.
What shocked them is the many umbilical cord-like things extending out of the mountain and the endless semi-transparent embryos in the sea.
On the sea surface, many embryos are throbbing. The amazing fluctuations produced with each throb and the vibrant vitality exuded by the embryos caused the people in the meeting room to wonder if they will burst.
In fact, that's exactly what happened. After a while, one the embryos burst, then followed by the second, the third, and so on...
As the video continued playing, the conference room was filled with silence. The leaders standing at the peak of humanity looked sluggishly at this scene for a while, then took a sharp breath of air.
It took them a while before gradually calming down.
"What do you think?"
Lu Cheng withdrew his gaze from the holographic screen, then glanced at the people in front of the conference table, saying.
"Monan and his crew said that that giant mountain is likely a kaiju."
"This kaiju is a bit similar to the queen in the ant cave. she's responsible for producing various types of kaiju, but she herself doesn't have much strength."
"However, We're not sure of that"
Lu Cheng shook his head helplessly and said.
"I think that we should take the initiative and directly destroy this giant kaiju, completely ending this endless monster attack."
"This is too risky, Lu."
Wilson seriously said.
"If we act carelessly, we might face a big catastrophe."
The sound of discussions filled the conference room. Most agreed with Wilson's opinion, few agreed with Lu Cheng approach.
This small number of people are mostly from the radical party.
"Well, we don't have much time, we will use fighters to scout the situation over there. After gathering enough information, we will search for a while to deal with that giant kaiju."
The meeting took a while before finally coming to a viable decision. Lu Cheng looked around and said that loudly.
The people in the meeting room nodded, that kaiju is extremely huge and they don't know anything about it.
Who knows if it can move or attack them? Now, they don't have the courage to directly deal with it without knowing any piece of information about it.
"Okay, in a few days we will send manpower to monitor the situation over there. Each fleet should pay more attention in this sensitive period of time. The kaiju might launch a large scale attack on us. Each one of us must prepare for that."
Lu Cheng summed up the meeting, then concluded it.
The reason why he said that is because they saw several embryos exploding, followed by a young kaiju crawling out of the embryos.
The human alliance highest council members are worried that the kaiju who drilled out from the embryos will launch an attack on them.
However, the thing that gave them the most pressure is still the kaiju mother; That mountain range sized body has put a lot of pressure on them, almost causing them to be breathless.
"End of the meet ... Boom."
Lu Cheng was about to say "End of the meeting", but he didn't expect the projector in the meeting room started emitting a burst of sparks before exploding.
"Oh?"
Lu Cheng frowned, then shook his head.
"Was our circuit system attacked again?"
"Yeah, probably"
Wilson shrugged helplessly.
"Well……"
On the sea surface, Fang Yun shook his huge head. He used electromagnetic signals to invade into the base's conference room, then spy on their conversation.
It's just...due to his inability to control the strength of the electromagnetic signal, the projector exploded.
"The human leaders found the kaiju mother, but it seems that the Kaiju are preparing to launch a large scale attack. No wonder I didn't see any kaiju around these days."
