Chapter 256: Three Years Later
🕑 Added 2020-05-15 00:53:23 +0000 UTCThis is the 30th evolution of Fang Yun. His level was raised to level 31, and he got 30 skill points this time.
This time, after watching the constant advancement of the human alliance technology, he decided to use these skill points to upgrade "Aegis Field". After upgrading this skill to level 2, the field coverage has increased from 1 km to 5 km.
At the same time, the electromagnetic pulse intensity has increased a lot. As long as it is an ordinary aircraft enters his field, then it's basically guaranteed to fail and explode.
Of course, Fang Yun knows that the current human alliance has begun to create new anti-EMP technologies, but he believes that as long as this skill is constantly upgraded, their technology will definitely be unable to defend against his increasingly stronger EMP field.
The reason he upgraded this skill is mainly to guard against the human alliance. Although they are currently in a cooperative relationship, he is a monster to them in the end.
He learned about their radical party that advocates the extermination of all the monsters in the world so he is naturally on guard.
During this time, the human alliance swept many of the nearby islands, killing off all the dinosaur and ancient/mutant creatures on them. They also resisted many waves of monster attacks led by many teams of kaiju.
At that time, Fang Yun will cheekily and shamelessly pick the loot they dropped. That is eating the monster's bodies that are floating across the battlefield.
However, Fang Yun doesn't eat freely every time. Sometimes he will take the initiative to attack those powerful Kaiju and monsters. Especially the ones that they can't deal with like levels 6 kaiju.
Doing this not only helps the human alliance but also prevents a large number of casualties and losses of material resources, it's a win-win situation.
Furthermore, the Venom-like aliens are also aiming at him. Right now, there is the human alliance to share the pressure with him so he is not particularly feeling anything, but if the human alliance was defeated, the aliens would free their hands and concentrate all their manpower on him. That would be disastrous.
Back to evolution. After evolving, In addition to skill points, his size still increased as always.
The increase this time is quite large. At level 30, he was only 350 meters, but this time, his length increased by 50 meters, reaching a horrific 400 meters long.
Even his diameter has reached an exaggerated 13 meters.
400 meters long, that's already the height of most skyscrapers. In fact, most of them don't even reach that height.
His attributes need nor be said, they are all in the thousands. With each evolution, each of his attributes increases by more than a hundred points. Especially his strength attribute, which increase by more than a thousand after each evolution.
With his larger size, coupled with the improvement of his skills, his strength and survivability have increased a lot, which increased his self-confidence and fearlessness. He sometimes swims to the depth of the sea to check the seafloor or travel to the depth of the enemy homeland to scout their situation.
However, this sea area is too big. He once swam ahead for more than five days, crossing tens of thousands of kilometers, but he didn't see the end.
He is now sure that the added area is the one he saw in the space channel.
After the nuclear explosion, the space channel was indeed destroyed, but as a result, the space behind the channel overlapped with that of the grass sea.
Fang Yun revolved around the guardian One. The forest was basically removed from the island, and many new structures were built in its place.
From time to time, there are aircraft landing or flying, in short, the roar of the engines is almost uninterrupted.
After circling around Guardian One, he swam towards other islands to check their situation, just like a lion king patrolling his territory.
As for those Blue Planet humans, they aren't surprised or scared at his sight. In the past period of time, they have become accustomed to his existence.
More and more humans were transferred to the captured islands in this area, civilians account for the vast majority.
In fact, at the beginning, almost all countries were recruiting civilians from their country, hoping that they would come to this sea area to create new settlements.
However, there were very few responders, only some people who struggled to survive in their homeland came here.
But later on, everyone found out that the environment in this sea area is actually much better than that of the land outside.
There are no viruses raging here and no deadly gas. Even the ancient and mutant creatures that are attacking the bases every day are cleaned by the corresponding personnel.
The most important thing is that the giant serpent is also here. This giant monster can be said to be their guarantee and last defense against the powerful monsters, especially level 6 kaiju.
After the situation over here was spread in the outside world, more and more people applied to come here, and many laboratories have moved over.
Fang Yun toured the entire base of the human alliance. During these three months, humans have occupied five big islands.
This number is also rapidly growing.
"Maybe here will become an independent kingdom here in the future."
Fang Yun thought internally that if the situation in the world outside gets more severe, then this might really become true.
Although this may seem despicable, He hopes that this kind of situation happens. Because then the human alliance will be forced to innovate and invade this area more crazily leading to the battle between them and the monsters.
Fang Yun thinks that with his addition, the human alliance still has a big chance to win this war. His main concern is the mountain-sized giant spider and the situation of the planet where the aliens are located.
If there is a channel connecting the two worlds at the depth of the sea, he will certainly not rush through it, but humans are curious creatures. He is sure that someone will take the initiative to enter the channel and then go to the alien planet.
Fang Yun kept wandering in this area. If the human alliance planned on moving forward, he will immediately keep up. If not, he will just keep wandering around.
........
Three years have passed since Guardian One was captured. In this period of time, he evolved three times.
Up to now, his level has reached 34, and his body size has increased a lot. His length has reached 550 meters and his diameter has reached 17 meters.
The islands controlled by the human alliance have reached an astonishing 15 big islands and many smaller ones. Their technology has also changed dramatically.
First of all, they are now able to communicate electronically in this EMP-filled environment. They also installed giant engines under these islands, giving these islands the ability to move like boats. The fastest one has a speed of 50 km/h.
As he expected before, this place has almost become a kingdom. The situation outside has also become much worse, the virus is currently raging across all parts of the world.
Even after so many years of intensive research, they still didn't find a cure for the raging virus.
Whenever they research some kind of drug that controls it, the virus will immediately mutate, rendering that drug ineffective.
Sadly, the major superpowers didn't focus on this thing as much as before.
The outside world and the almost 2 billion inhabitents were kind of abandoned by them.
Guardian One is no longer the largest island controlled by the human alliance, but its status has not changed.
Its geographical position has changed, advancing more than 3,000 kilometers deeper in this sea area. It has various propellers on its body and has many new weapons.
This island is acting more and more like a huge mothership.
At present, the research on laser weapons in 'Panda country' has reached an extremely high level. They have developed laser weapons capable of killing level 3 kaiju with just three shots.
Levels 6 Kaiju are no longer as invincible as before.
