Chapter 255: Good News and Evolution
🕑 Added 2020-05-13 19:56:29 +0000 UTCFang Yun also stopped near that island. Anyway, as long as the giant turtle stays with him. There will be no shortage of food wherever he goes.
In the past few days, he has been watching the movement of the human alliance. They are transforming this island, building many structures and buildings all over the island. They are obviously prepared to stay here for a long time.
The human alliance has already agreed on the resources and responsibilities under each country. For example, 'Panda country' is responsible for building most of the structures on the island.
There are special large marine ships loaded with various engineering vehicles, Many of which are large mining trucks with a load of 400 to 500 tons. Each one looks extremely huge. At least ten meters tall.
Some excavators, bulldozers, and the like also followed behind the giant trucks. In the next few days, the sounds the roar of machines sounded from the islands.
On the largest island in the middle, the area facing the sea in the north was cleared and flattened. After which a simple command center was built there.
Fang Yun occasionally observed the progress of the human alliance. These guys aren't wasting time at all, constantly moving forward, and working all day, but it's understandable, time is not on their side. Their countries are under constant attack.
From time to time, he goes out of the grass sea, then swims to the coast of the nearby countries. Mostly to check the world's situation on the internet.
The situation outside is terrible. The human alliance doesn't have much time. If they take too long, then all they would see after going back is ruins.
Now it's mainly the army of ancient and mutant creatures along with the deadly gas and dangerous viruses that are threatening the lives of the people around the world.
Ancient and mutant creatures can reproduce rapidly, especially the white giant spiders. Due to their large number. Every coastal city is being attacked by an army of them every day.
In addition, diseases and viruses are raging across the world. Especially the RR virus.
This virus has been around for quite some time now, but most doctors and scientists still have no clue about its cure.
Wastelands and ruins have appeared across the territories of many countries. Even superpowers like 'Panda country' and the 'Bald Eagle' country are no different.
On these wastelands and ruins, various mutated creatures run rampant, insects, animals, and humans parasitized by zombie parasites can be seen everywhere in those places.
The reason these areas became wastelands is due to the quick multiplication of the plants that emit deadly gases. These plants absorb the fertile soil in order to multiply, leaving deserts and wastelands behind them
Strange bugs such as metal worms, gas worms, and oil worms have also caused great harm to that land. Another point is that the geothermal heat is still weakening at a fast rate, resulting in many natural disasters and the like.
.......
Time quickly passed. About three months later, an enclosed building made of concrete appeared on that large island. The human alliance stopped on this island for three months.
As for the island, it was named Guardian One.
It's meant to be the first buffer between the aliens and the human alliance.
In fact, the base has been built quite a while ago. They are now building residential areas and searching for the nearby supplies and natural resources.
Fang Yun also noticed that in these three months, many fighters and airships are constantly going in and out of the base. They are searching in nearby areas and observing the terrain.
Fang Yun learned the general information from the soldiers' conversations. The area of the grass sea is very big. Preliminary estimates that it's even larger than the area of the Pacific Ocean.
Their current speed isn't very fast. They need to coordinate the various teams, create a stable and long-lasting base, etc...
Their team did not continue moving forward. They found another island suitable for human development ahead, so they sent personnel to develop it.
In addition and more importantly. Since they stopped to build the base on Guardian One, the kaiju and other monsters didn't stop attacking them, resulting in many casualties.
Of course, there is also fresh blood added to the human alliance from their home countries. Although many people are dying every day, the number of personnel on the island is still more than the first day;
"Professor Hook, Research on aliens has progressed."
In an office, Hook, wearing a scientist's costume, was looking at a stack of documents in his hand. The sound of knocking suddenly sounded from the door, then without giving him the chance to respond, an excited young man opened the door and entered the room.
"Xiao Wang, what are you talking about?"
Hook almost jumped up at this time. He didn't pay attention to the disrespect of the young man. He quickly walked towards him and early asked.
"How is the analysis?"
With their current strength, it's very difficult to defeat the aliens. Their only hope is that they make major technical improvements during the war.
Reaching the level of the aliens' technology, then driving them out of the blue planet.
"These aliens are liquid metal bodies. They are also in the category of silicon-based life. We discovered that by combining parts of their bodies with our Blue Planet native metals we can create metal with memory functions."
"In addition, there has been some progress on the research of the Electromagnetic waves in this area. Maybe, we will soon be able to use technological products in this area."
"Really? This is great!"
Hook also looked happy. The electromagnetic waves in this area greatly hinder communication.
As for the metal with memory function ... In fact, they have appeared long ago, going by the fact that his student reported this to him, it must be special.
"Professor Hook, this kind of memory metal, can change shape according to the received commands."
"It is said that this alloy can be neurally interactively connected, then controlled through the human brain."
"This metal can form defensive plates, daggers, knives, swords, etc...All sorts of cold weapons and these metal are very tough and resistant."
Studies have long shown that combining a certain metal on aliens' bodies and some native metals on the Blue Planet results in an alloy with super defensive property.
If they can really control these "memory metals", this is undoubtedly great news for them. Just the prospect of army kaiju with them is amazing.
According to scientists' calculation, A kaiju armed with armors and weapons made from memory metal can fight with kaiju of higher levels.
It wasn't just 'Panda country' that had amazing discoveries. the 'Bald Eagle' country also had good news, but it was related to the level 6 kaiju.
Although there is a cooperative relationship with each other, 'Panda country' still didn't give even one alien body to the 'Bald Eagle' country.
Similarly, the 'Bald Eagle' country didn't plan on sharing the level 6 kaiju body they struggled so hard to get. It can be seen that these two countries still have reservations about each other.
Only the 'Polar Bear' country is a bit miserable. They have no new discoveries or new technology. They can only participate in this operation with their courage.
While working day and night on Guardian One, they discovered that in these few months, the giant serpent has become bigger again.
This monster has evolved again.
