---------------------------
First of all, Fang Yun found noticed that there is a huge continent about 30 kilometers away from here. He immediately gave up on going there and chose to go in the opposite direction.
Taking the giant turtle in the opposite direction, he found a small archipelago about 100 kilometers away from their landing point.
He chose a relatively remote island as their temporary shelter. This island is also quite large, with a diameter of 20 to 30 kilometers, which is more than enough to accommodate both of them.
Of course, with their current size, it's almost impossible to hide on land right now. As long as someone comes to this island, they will immediately discover their existence.
However, Fang Yun didn't care about this.
Fang Yun slithered out from the sea and climbed onto the island. His huge body left a huge trail on the island. Which is almost 200 meters wide and more than 10 meters deep. This can already be used as a big river.
The sea turtle also followed behind him, it moved forward using its four giant limbs, its sickle-like claws left deep gullies on the soft sand.
It followed clumsily behind Fang Yun, hence the two giant monsters moved towards the center of the island, one behind the other.
In a short period of time, the cracks on the shell of the giant turtle are beginning to heal. Even its blood stopped flowing, and the scars on its limbs started scabbing.
The scars on its limbs and head should heal in a few days, but the cracks on its shell should take longer, about a week or two.
Fang Yun circled around the island they selected as their temporary base, then went on to check the status of the other nearby islands.
On an island fifty miles away, Fang Yun found a village. It's a fishing village. In front of the door of some of the villagers, he noticed many fishing nets that are left to dry.
"If the people in this village use the internet, I can use their network to understand the status of this planet and the human race."
Fang Yun approached the village from underwater. Sneakily sticking his head from the water surface, a few kilometers away from the island, he noticed a sign in front of the village.
Blue Lotus Village.
After glancing at the sign, Fang Yun started to intercept the communication signals that are sent to the village.
After repeated experiments, he was able to use the intercepted electromagnetic signals to connect to the network. He didn't hesitate to start surfing the internet. It has been so long. He was almost bored to death back in the Blue Planet.
"Oh? the population of the humans on this planet has actually grown to 100 million. A bit slow."
Fang Yun thought internally. The number of people who have migrated to this planet is over 10 million, which is almost 10 times more than the number of people that remained on the Blue Planet, but after so long, the number of humans on both planets are almost the same.
The humans in this planet might have controlled their population growth, hence the small population growth.
"There are three continents on this planet. Humans currently occupy only a single one, and it's the smallest."
Fang Yun also learned about the new names of the three continents.
They were previously named continent A, continent B, and continent C, but now they have new names.
Continent A is called Pacific-Asia, mostly to commemorate their old home, the Blue Planet. Furthermore. Over 70 percent of the people inhabiting "Earth" aka the alien planet are from Asia, 'Panda country', and 'Polar Bear' country, hence they decided to name it like that.
Continent B is called the Old Land. That's where the aliens used to live in before. Of course, it's not like there are now alien creatures on Pacific-Asia, but their number is too small, so they are marginalized.
One of the reasons why the Old Land was called as such is because it's too barren.
As for Continent C, this continent is called the Forbidden Land. As its name signify, this place is forbidden for humans to enter, because no matter who enters it will face terrible consequences. Not from the human authorities, but from the land itself.
"Insanity, turning into psychopaths? becoming deranged and filled with madness?"
Fang Yun noted the emphasis on the third continent. He learned from the internet that no matter who entered or even approached the third continent become insane.
"The third continent is a forbidden land. The second continent is filled with danger. There are many dangerous creatures there. Moreover, it's very close to the third continent.
"If people stay on the second continent for a long time, their spirit will be severely affected, causing them to lose their mind and become murderous demons."
"In addition, on the second continent, there is..."
Fang Yun is currently surfing information on a popular website.
While reading information about the second continent, he came across startling information.
It's about a huge tree.
The is tree can be said to connect the sky with the earth. There is not much to say about its diameter, it's too huge to imagine, its branches cover the sky and earth, proving shade across many kilometers. This tree, in fact, can even be seen from space.
"Isn't that...the world tree?"
Fang Yun has seen many fictions in his past life about world trees, being the more of nature, the world protector, etc... so the first thought that crossed his mind after seeing this giant tree is that it's a world tree.
However, this "World Tree" doesn't look to be brimming with life. Instead, it's emitting a gray, lifeless atmosphere. Its branches and leaves are also wilting. According to the relevant experts, this extremely huge tree has died a long time ago.
This might be one of the reasons why the aliens launched an attack on the Blue Planet.
In addition, the technology of this planet's humans has advanced a lot in the past few years. Looking at some of their latest weapons and advancement, Fang Yun felt that the "Earth" human's technology can match most of the aliens portrayed in his past life alien invasion movies.
Fang Yun continued surfing the internet for information he wants. He learned that the resources on the Pacific-Asian continent have been almost occupied by humans.
He also searched for human ports location, their cities location, their power distribution, and the information they collected about this world.
It is worth mentioning that the humans of this planet have long since abandoned the concept of different countries and segregation, forming a single superpower. That is the Blue Planet Federation.
The current goal of the Blue Planet Federation is to constantly create new tech, increasing the strength of their civilization, then send troops to the second continent, the Old Land, to do some research.
They want to find some counter to do those waves that make living creatures crazy, then invade and capture the second continent.
Fang Yun also noticed that the humans of this planet are also extremely tense and nervous most of the time. The most important reason for that is the humans of this planet often receive some mysterious signals from outside the planet, the universe.
"No way."
Fang Yun was extremely surprised. He subconsciously looked at the sky, which was currently filled with stars. It's already deep in the night.
Previously, he was wondering whether he should relax for a while on this planet. There is plenty of food, there is also the internet, he can relax here for a while.
However, he doesn't plan on doing do anymore. These abnormal signals from the depth of the universe gave him a lot of pressure. These signals signify that there is likely an advanced intelligent civilization not far from this planet.
"Don't answer them, don't respond to these signals!"
Fang Yun prayed internally, hoping that the humans of this planet don't seek death and respond to those signals.
This universe is a place filled with hunters. The theme of invasion and genocide can be guessed from the actions of the previous aliens who attacked the Blue Planet.
The previous Blue Planet should belong to a remote or uninhabited place in the universe, hence why they didn't receive those signals before.
However, "Planet Earth" doesn't seem to be the case. It should be located in a place where other alien civilizations thrive.
"Are those abnormal signals really sent by other intelligent civilizations not far from this planet?"
Fang Yun has a fantasy hidden in the depth of his heart.
Perhaps one day, he will contact more aliens. He might fight with interstellar battleships and fleets in the future.
