--------------------------------------
The fleet got closer to the shore, causing the crowd in the port to get even more excited and lively.
Many reporters explained to the old cameras in front of them with a smile on their faces. From time to time, they leaned over and pointed their finger at the approaching fleet.
"Whooo!"
A loud whistle sounded from the leading steamship. It reminded the steamships behind them that they were about to dock, signaling to them to slow down.
After the leading ships were docked on the port, Zhao Cheng and Du Qiu walked off the central steamship. Without wasting this opportunity, a group of reporters came over and wanted to interview them, but the staff around stopped them, protecting the passengers.
"Wait for a minute, you will be able to take a photo with your 'loot' later on."
Professor Pound also walked down from the steamship and said to Zhao Cheng with a smile.
At this time, there were many steam trains prepared on the port, each one of them is over 30 meters long and has a very rugged appearance. Unlike the streamlined and beautiful appearance of modern trains.
These trains belong more to the 19th and 20th century rather than the current era.
Their body is made of heavy steel deck, secured by dense rivets, with many huge chimnies on the front compartment with heavy smoke emitted from them.
The number of such steam trains is very large, their only job is to drag the bodies of the two monsters back to the shore. After all, steamships can't do that.
After the fleet docked on the port, the special department immediately started to work. They transferred the huge iron chain from the steamships to the steam trains.
"Chooo!!"
Along with the commander's order, all of the steam trains started at the same time. A very large amount of black smoke was pumped from the chimneys of each train. That scene was not pretty to look at.
However, the people who were watching this scene didn't care about that at all. They all opened their eyes widely and stared at the two giant monster bodies with excitement.
Under the dragging force of the steam trains, the giant creature's bodies were slowly dragged onto the beach. After a portion of their body left the sea and landed on the soft beach, the steam trains finally stopped trying to move them. Anyway, that's the limit of what can these trains do.
"Xiao Zhao, let's go and take a photo with these two big monsters. That's your booty."
Professor Pound patted Zhao Cheng's shoulder and said. Zhao Cheng also smiled and nodded heavily.
Directly in front of millions of people, and indirectly in the eyes of the entire country. After taking photos with these two giant monsters, he will become famous across the entire country.
The group of seven people felt that they will become famous. They walked to the shore happily, then boarded a small boat, which they rowed next to the bodies of the two giant monsters. They are ready to take photos.
The crowds around started cheering, and many people shouted loudly that they also want to go out to the sea and look for the bodies of similar giant monsters.
Looking at the excited crowd, Professor Pound laughed happily. This is exactly the effect they wanted. The area of the world's ocean is too big. Even the governement can't know what exactly there is on it, they can only use this method to burrow private powers and parties to search the ocean for them.
Especially giant monster bodies, there are many secrets hidden in them, which can greatly promote scientific research.
One day, they will grow to the height of the previous human civilization, and even surpass it. Their civilization will become so strong that monsters like these two can't affect it in the slightest.
Professor Pound's heart was filled with ambitions.
"Xiao Zhao, let me take a picture of you."
Professor Pound took a camera and walked next to Zhao Cheng and his companions. He is planning to personally take a photo of this group of seven people to commemorate this historical moment.
On the other side, Zhao Cheng, and his companions just reached the area in front of the giant monsters' bodies. Just as they were about to turn around, they noticed that something is wrong.
To elaborate, their boat is right in front of the sky-scraper sized eyes of the giant snake, so they were able to clearly see its gold-colored eyes and its black giant vertical pupil.
They didn't feel anything particular about them before, because they looked very dull, just like the eyes of a dead snake.
However, Zhao Cheng felt that the current giant snake's eyes are very different from before, they are much brighter, focused, and full of life.
These two giant eyes also exerted a pressure on them that they never felt before, they felt so insignificant and small before them, very different from before.
"Gulp."
Zhao Cheng swallowed his saliva, his face was filled with sweat. He felt that his legs have turned into jelly and that he couldn't muster the slightest power.
"Brother Cheng, what's wrong ?"
Du Qiu noticed the sweat and paleness on Zhao Cheng's face and he couldn't help but ask. He wondered why Zhao Cheng looked so nervous, it's just a photo, he doesn't have to be that nervous, does he?
"Dd...Du Qiu, don't you feel that the eyes of this giant snake have changed?"
Zhao Cheng barely managed to ask this question to Du Qiu.
Du Qiu frowned and looked carelessly at the huge eyes behind him, he didn't find anything different from before, so he looked back at Zhao Cheng with a confused look;
"Brother, I don't see anything different from before."
"Xiao Zhao, what's the matter?"
On the port, Professor Pound also noticed that Zhao Cheng looked somewhat wrong. He approached him a bit and asked with a bit of confusion on his face.
It wasn't just Pound, the nearby people who were watching the show looked at all of this with a puzzled look. What is that guy doing?
"Professor Pound, something is wrong."
Zhao Cheng shouted towards Professor Pound who was on the beach.
This giant snake is... is..."
He couldn't complete the sentence, there was a look of embarrassment on his face. What can he say? that this giant snake is alive?
If this giant snake was truly alive, why didn't it move before, why did it allow them to drag it over here, why didn't all of that noise affect it? If he says that it's alive right now, would they think that he is retarded?
However, Zhao Cheng is really sure that there is something wrong with this giant snake. Those eyes, they don't belong to a dead creature. He also had the feeling of being watched back white watching the giant snake.
"Professor, please come and see, I think that there is something wrong with this snake."
Zhao Cheng pointed his finger at the giant snake behind him.
The onlookers on the coast were even more confused after hearing Zhao Cheng's claim. What's wrong with the giant snake?
Professor Pang frowned. After thinking for a moment, he listened to Zhao Cheng and got on their boat. He walked to Zhao Cheng and listened to his whispers.
"What? do you think this python is alive?"
After hearing Zhao Cheng's words, Professor Pound was taken aback. He held back his laughter and shook his head, thinking that Zhao Cheng was acting funny. He had a funny smile on his face while saying.
"Xiao Zhao, how could this snake be alive? Previously we..."
Just as he wanted to comfort Zhao Cheng, the words got stuck in his mouth. He stared at the scene in front of him with a shocked look on his face, his pupils shrank, and his mouth opened widely.
"Professor..."
Zhao Cheng and the other people not far away immediately noticed the look of Pound. They looked back at the terrifying beast behind them, and after seeing it, they froze like stone statues.
"This..."
Zhao Cheng didn't dare to speak. He just stared blankly at the scene in front of him. The mountain-sized snake who was originally lying on water gradually raised its head. This small movement created large waves, which rocked a large number of ships in the port.
The giant snake turned its head and looked at the large number of people in the port with its piercing, cold eyes;
"Ah!!!"
"Run!!"
In the port, the large crowd who was watching the bodies of the two giant creatures with excitement immediately panicked. A large number of people screamed in horror, then scrambled to escape from this place, resulting in a large stampede.
