Chapter 271: Entering the Space Vortex
🕑 Added 2020-06-07 19:46:33 +0000 UTC"This is..."
Fang Yun was stunned when he looked at the scene ahead. Not far away from them, in the kaiju mother's previous location, there is a huge black vortex, over a dozen kilometers wide.
The water flowed around the huge vortex, but it wasn't sucked into it. This scene looked extremely strange, defying the laws of physics.
"Isn't that a space channel?"
Fang Yun was really surprised. He planned to get closer to examine it, but looking at the giant and terrifying space vortex, he extinguished this idea.
He turned his attention to the airships fleet above him. He noticed that the fleet also seemed to be frightened, they also didn't dare to move forward.
In fact, this is indeed the case. In the command room of the central mothership, Lu Cheng looked at the scene in front of him with a shocked look on his face.
The huge vortex that appeared on the surface of the sea looked just like the entrance to hell. Its shocking and weird look caused most of them to be apprehensive.
"Is this the space channel that connects to the aliens' world?"
Lu Cheng thought internally. However, it's too terrifying, the diameter of this vortex is estimated to be at least 10 kilometers. This is just an initial visual calculation, its actual diameter should be even bigger than that.
After detecting the changes in the Grass Sea, Lu Cheng didn't plan to stay here any longer. He ordered the fleet to go back to their base in 'Panda country'.
They need to publish this news, then gather the last remaining experts and scientists to study this space channel.
On the way back, they didn't find a single living kaiju or ancient/mutant creatures. All of the monsters that roamed the seas before seemed to evaporate as if they didn't exist at all.
The only remaining indication of their existence is the monsters' body floating on the water surface.
As for the kaiju mother, it disappeared completely. It's unknown if it was blown by the terrifying nuclear explosion, or if it survived.
This situation is somewhat strange. With the huge body of the kaiju mother, even if it was blown to pieces, there should be some of its body parts or at least traces of it left. Not like this situation where it completely disappeared.
A few days later, almost the entire world's countries got information about the space vortex in the Grass sea
Many people agreed that this is the way to a different world.
"We should send people into that vortex to check if it's truly the way to other worlds."
"Are you crazy, in case it's not, that would result in meaningless sacrifice. The number of humans is already so small, do you want to sacrifice more people?"
"We don't have other choices. The Blue Planet is now almost a dead planet. If we stay here for another 2 or 3 years, we might even freeze to death."
"The monster crisis on this planet has already ended. I suggest that we take the initiative to attack. The civilization on the opposite side space vortex might not be as strong as our civilization."
'Panda country' has already regained contact with the other countries on the planet. Right now, the leaders of these countries and council members of the human alliance are discussing what they should do in the future.
Each one of these leaders has corresponding self-confidence in their claims.
If there is truly something terrible behind the space vortex, whether they're frightening monsters or strong civilizations, they will eventually get involved with them sooner or later. If this is inevitable, why don't they take the initiative to explore?
Taking the initiative is very important in this situation.
This kind of view has convinced many people. After a long discussion and debate, they decided to send a team to explore what's behind the space vortex.
"Have they decided to explore what's behind the vortex so quickly? "
Fang Yun looked at the three airships in the sky, heading straight towards the space vortex, with a surprised look.
Although he knows that it's inevitable for the human alliance to explore the space vortex, he didn't expect it to be so fast.
However, he quickly became excited. He also wants to know what's behind the space vortex, so this exploration is actually in his favor.
He looked at the scene where the three huge airships took the lead to slowly hover down, constantly approaching the space vortex.
"Vrooom!!"
Along with the roars of engines, the three giant motherships were slowly dragged into the vortex
Due to the fact that the disaster of the vortex is too large, even 3 airships more than 500 meters across were easily able to fit.
Not far away from the space vortex, Fang Yun looked nervously at the three airships that aren't that much shorter than him.
If they reach the aliens' planet smoothly, without any twists or turns, doesn't that mean that a whole new planet, possibly full of giant monsters in front of him?
When he thought of this, his eyes shined with excitement. He looked at the three airships with a hopeful look.
"I hope that they are successful."
Right now, the three airships have disappeared in the vortex without a trace.
"Professor, do you think that they will succeed?"
In a basement, the assistant Xiao Yu asked the solemn Hook.
"Professor, don't you think that they are too hasty?"
Hook shook his head and said.
"This is something that must be done. The temperature of the BluePlnaet is constantly decreasing, and the environment is getting worse and worse, coupled with the large extinction caused by the previous disaster. This Planet is becoming a dead planet. If we don't find a solution quickly, then even with our technology, humans are likely to become extinct."
There is a hint of anxiety on Hook's face. He prayed internally.
"God bless our human civilization, it really can't sand anymore disaster."
Fang Yun didn't leave after the three airships enter the space vortex. He stayed there so as to get first-hand information.
In the next few days, this sea area, especially the area near the space vortex, has become the hottest place in the world.
Ships can be seen coming and going everywhere. Whether it's airships or ordinary marine ships. They are stationed here in case an alien or a monster gets out of this space channel. They don't want to experience a monster disaster once again
After waiting in this way for ten days, the space vortex finally changed. Ripples appeared on the otherwise revolving vortex.
"Something is coming out."
Fang Yun was the first to sense this strange fluctuation, followed by the higher-ups of the human alliance.
He stared closely at the area where the fluctuation started, only to see a black shadow slowly emerged from the black vortex. Soon after, a huge shadow, hundreds of meters long appeared.
"That's..."
Everyone's eyes were fixed on the black shadow, but they saw its true appearance, many people started shouting.
"It's our ship! It's our airship!"
