Chapter 267: The Result of the Nuclear Explosion
🕑 Added 2020-06-01 00:33:03 +0000 UTCFang Yun was one of the first to know that the human alliance is about to launch a hydrogen bomb over there. His eyes were fixed on the holographic screen in the conference room.
The picture shown on the screen is that of the endless sea in front of Li Nan’s fleet. They can’t get close to the area of explosion or that would be their doom.
Even so, this calamity-class hydrogen bomb is extremely powerful.
Even from so far away, the explosion scene will be very spectacular. The rising mushroom cloud is often more than ten kilometers tall.
They can still clearly see the spectacular explosion from this distance.
At this moment, the inter-continental missiles loaded with hydrogen bombs are quickly rushing towards the kanji mother.
The size of those missiles is over 30 meters long. The power of these 3 giant missiles is frightening. The human alliance leaders are confident that even the kaiju mother won't walk out alive from the detonation of these powerful hydrogen bombs.
On the projection screen, a radar chart was displaying the location of the 3 hydrogen bombs. According to the display on the screen, the hydrogen bombs will reach the location of the kaiju mother in just a few minutes.
Everyone was nervously looking at the screen, including Fang Yun.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
After waiting anxiously for more than ten minutes, an extremely loud explosion sounded, followed by.a dazzling light, brighter than the sun, that completely covered the screen. The light lasted for a few minutes before receding.
After the light preceded, the people in the fleet and the conference room saw an extremely large mushroom cloud.
"This……"
Looking at the scene on the projection screen, Fang Yun was speechless. On the holographic screen, he saw three huge mushroom clouds rising above the clouds, spreading a large amount of radioactive dust into the nearby area.
Li Nan originally thought that they already retreated back a good distance, but seeing the dust clouds that are quickly approaching them, he ordered the fleet to quickly retreat.
"I wonder if that kaiju mother was killed."
Fang Yun thought internally that he is far from being able to resist a hydrogen bomb of that caliber. The giant spider kaiju defense is almost the same that as that of his, it's just too big, so he wondered if it was truly killed by the hydrogen bomb.
Time quickly passed. In the command room of the motherships in the middle of the fleet, Li Nan looked at the mushroom cloud rising far away, his heart was filled with agitation. He wishes to go to that place right now to check the kaiju mother's situation.
It's a pity that he can't go there currently. They can't even send drones to check.
The electromagnetic pulse in the explosion center must have reached a very terrible level. Although their technology products have high EMP-resistance, that doesn't mean that they are immune to them.
"Sir ..."
Next to Li Nan, a staff member whispered softly to him, as if to report something. However, right at that moment, both of their pupils shrank. Even the staff in the command room couldn't help but scream in terror.
"Ahhh!"
In front of the command room's window, there is a huge dragon-like monster. It appeared there without warning.
It's a level 6 kaiju, and it's more than one;
These kaiju appeared suddenly on their mothership then started attacking it.
"Damn, where did these monsters come from?"
Li Nan shouted angrily, then shouted loudly again.
"Counterattack! Destroy these monsters!"
Behind them, a loud explosion sounded, followed by another level 6 kaiju appearing from behind.
It wasn't just level 6 kaiju, even aliens appeared. They deformed their arms and started attacking the airships.
"Damn it!"
In the command room, Li Nan immediately struck the control board after seeing this scene, his face filled with anger. Just as he was curious about the situation of the kaiju mother, these bastards came to cause trouble.
"Wasn't the kaiju mother affected?"
Fang Yun also saw this scene through the holographic screen.
Such an idea immediately appeared in his mind, but after thinking for a moment, he felt that this should be impossible. Three hydrogen bombs of that caliber are impossible to have no effect.
He is really curious about the result of the explosion, he wished to go there and check the result.
"Send personnel immediately to support Li Nan."
In the conference room on Guardian One, Lu Cheng looked at the scene on the holographic screen, then immediately said to the guys behind him.
However, even if they send the support right now, it will still take some time before they reach them. They also can't use missiles to help them, the kaiju are entangled with the fleet, it's easy to cause damage to collateral damage.
"Damn monsters!"
Watching the kaiju and aliens constantly dealing damage to his fleet, Li Nan screamed angrily. Ten airships have been destroyed in this short period of time.
Having said that, the timing of these monsters is too subtle, furthermore, their appearance is too sudden, without any warning. Their number is also too much, dozens of levels 6 kaiju attacking at the same time is very rare.
A few minutes later, the number of fallen airships has risen to 17.
"Retreat! Retreat!"
Li Nan yelled in the headset, his voice was filled with sadness. He knew this they might be destroyed here.
"I wonder what happened to that giant spider kaiju."
In the conference room, Zhen Zhou, who was standing next to Mo Nan, asked nervously. Although this might sound harsh, neither the level 6 kaiju that suddenly appeared nor is Li Nan fleet important.
The most important thing is knowing the situation of the kaiju mother.
Back to the fleet location, the battle is getting increasingly fierce. Every once in a while, an airship will explode, then fall to the sea.
However, correspondingly, there are casualties among the aliens and level 6 kaiju.
"I'll check it out now."
Fang Yun felt that it was necessary for him to take a look at the situation of the kaiju mother. It's not necessary to get close. The area where the battle between the fleet and the kaiju should be enough;
If there is any danger, he can rely on his defense and speed, plus the protection, of the sea to escape.
He quickly took off, heading straight towards the location of the kaiju mother. His current location is about 4 kilometers below the sea surface. Actually, this isn't very deep as the deepest places in this sea area are more than 20,000 meters.
Fang Yun quickly swam forward. The temptation of the giant spider kaiju is too great for him. Even if he can't get it, just the bodies of the levels 6 kaiju that are falling from the sky are worth his adventure.
"Almost there."
Fang Yun accelerated to the extreme. During these years, his "Shadow Wind" skill had reached (3/5), which increased his speed quite a bit. That plus the speed addition he gets every evolution and his ginormous size has bought him a terrifying speed.
In a short time, he crossed a very long distance, reaching the location of the battle.
He didn't continue rushing forward. He moved forward rather slowly. Fang Yun swam to the water surface when he was about 15 kilometers away from kaiju's mother. He fixed his eyes on its location, then used his detection skills to scout the situation of the kaiju mother.
