Chapter 265: Fighting Against The Kaiju Mother
🕑 Added 2020-05-29 17:03:14 +0000 UTCThe war scale has expanded.
Both sides are sending more and more troupes, expanding the war scale to an unprecedented scale. However, the situation of the human alliance is still bad overall.
A long-lasting war is very bad for the human alliance. While the troupes of the alien camp seem endless, the troops of the human alliance are limited.
In order to prevent the situation where their troupes are completely exhausted, then getting completely destroyed, they are preparing to end this war as soon as possible.
Their plan is to send a large army to the aliens camp, then bombing the kaiju mother and the endless embryos in the sea, completely cutting the endless forces of the aliens.
They don't expect that the kaiju mother will die, their only mission is to destroy the embryos, cutting off the endless troop of the alien camp.
On a certain day, hundreds of airships departed from the Guardian One, heading straight towards the alien base, that is the place where the kaiju mother lives in.
"Can these guys succeed?"
Fang Yun looked at the huge team in the sky, and such a question appeared in his mind. Of course, he hoped that this human fleet will blow up the body of the kaiju mother and the base of the aliens, providing him with the chance to sneak into the other world.
However, his reason told him that this will be very difficult.
Fang Yun did follow them but used electromagnetic waves to connect with the leaders' communication channel on Guardian One. This basically means that he is sneakily listening to the conversations and command conveyed from humanity's highest leaders to the commanders of the fleet.
In an important meeting room, Hook, Monan along with the leader of 'Panda country' Lu Cheng, the leader of the 'Bald Eagle' country, and the leaders of the rest of the countries sat on their seats solemnly.
In front of them, there is a projection screen, and the scene that is displayed on it is the scene where the fleet of the human alliance is heading towards the base of the aliens.
The fleet of hundreds of airships continued moving forward without any hindrance. They didn't encounter any interception for the time being.
"Professor Hook, do you think that our fleet will succeed?"
In the meeting room, Monan watched as the might fleet headed forward and couldn't help but say to Hook.
The aliens this time have launched the decisive war, sending an unprecedented number of monsters to attack all their strongholds. Even so, they didn't give up on attacking the surviving countries in the outside world.
Overall, the only this war gets dragged, the worse their situation will be. Their only way out is to attack the aliens base and the kaiju mother.
If their fleet is successful, then humanity will most likely continue to thrive. If not, then they will likely face extinction.
"I hope they will succeed."
Hook smiled bitterly. He remembered the scenes of the past/ Even now, he is feeling somewhat confused.
Their lives were once peaceful and easy, why were they attacked by aliens?
And now, these alien monsters have brought their humanity to the brink of extinction?
While thinking of this, Hook couldn't help but look at the holographic screen in the middle of the room again.
The scene in the meeting room was also viewed by Fang Yun.
He invaded the electronic equipment in the conference room of Guardian 1, so the entire scene in the conference room is flashing in his mind, including the faces of the tense leaders and the holographic projection in the middle of the room.
About twelve hours later, the fleet crossed an extremely long distance and finally reached the edge of this sea.
Everyone in the conference room saw that scene once again, including Hook, Lu Cheng, and even Fang Yun.
On an unimaginably large continent, an extremely large "Mountain" was laying on the ground.
A lot of umbilical cord-like things extended from it to the endless embryos on the sea and land.
The moment this scene appeared on the holographic screen. Everyone including Fang Yun discovered that a large number of kaiju are born every second.
"Chief Lu, we have arrived in the area where the kaiju mother is producing kaiju. Should we attack right now?"
The scene of the holographic screen changed. A middle-aged man with a face full of fortitude appeared on the screen. He saluted the people in the conference room, then asked Lu Cheng with a face full of seriousness.
"Attack!"
Lu Cheng didn't give any speech or encouragement, he only said one word.
Fang Yun watched as the many airships in the fleet flew over the kaiju mother and the embryos and dispersed. A few seconds later, many bombs were dropped from the airships.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
These bombs couldn't land and explode on the mother kaiju body. They exploded in the air without causing the slightest harm to it. It wasn't due to electromagnetic waves interference or something like that.
The main reason for this is that from below, the kaiju mother waved its umbilical cord-like tissues towards the bombs. Each one of these umbilical cord-like objects is dozens of meters thick and more than ten kilometers long.
They moved forward like the devil's whip, surpassing the speed of sound, exploding all the bombs mid-air, and landing straight on the fleet of airships.
In a few seconds, a dozen or so airships were directly crushed. They turned into flame-covered debris and fell straight into the sea.
"This……"
In the conference room, Lu Cheng, Hook, and the rest of the leaders standing at the top of the human alliance looked at this scene with mouths wide open.
Unexpectedly, they suffered such a terrible loss. This is just the first confrontation, but dozens of airships were destroyed.
"Sigh..."
The sound of cold air being drawn sounded in the conference room. This was just way out of their expectations.
"Wooosh!"
Along with the sound of air breaking, many fighters flew out from the airships and motherships mid-air, heading straight towards the kaiju mother.
The sound of a helicopter rotor blades turning sounded. Many closed wing helicopters appeared on the holographic screen.
All the people in the conference room can see that the men and women riding on the helicopters have a tragic and sad look on their faces, but they didn't hesitate at all.
As the closed wing helicopters swooped down towards the giant "mountain" below, a launcher protruded from the bottom of its hatch.
However, before that batch of closed wing helicopters had the time to release the shells, an umbilical cord fled at supersonic speeds straight at them, causing more than 5 helicopters to explode and the people inside to die.
However, this didn't stop the human soldiers at all. More closed wing helicopters, fighters and other types of aircraft flew straight towards the kaiju mother below.
Thanks to the sacrifice of many heroes, many fighters and helicopters passed through the umbilical cords barrier and fled straight above the body of the kaiju mother. After reaching the target location, they didn't hesitate to release many bombs and missiles towards the body of the kaiju mother.
"Boom! Boom!"
The sound of explosions sounded one after the other, one artificial sun after the other appeared on the surface of the kaiju mother. After a while, the area below became completely covered with dust.
"ROAR!!!!"
Under such an intense attack, the mother of the Kaiju, who had never made a sound before, let out an earth-shattering noise.
Obviously, although this wave of attacks wasn't able to cause a lot of damage to it, it caused it quite a lot of pain.
Looking at the scene projected on the holographic screen, Fang Yun was very surprised. Although the kaiju mother showed an earth-shattering power, much stronger than levels 6 kaiju. It's still far from what he expected.
This monster that is dozens of kilometers long and wide, didn't stand or use its heavenly pillar-like legs from the beginning. Although it showed an unprecedented power relying on umbilical-cord like tissues, it's still extremely weak compared to his expectations.
In other words, is this kaiju mother not made for fighting? Is its sole purpose conceiving kaiju?
