Chapter 246: The War Begins
🕑 Added 2020-04-27 21:21:53 +0000 UTCFang Yun wasn't as fearful as humans about aliens invasion. In fact, he is still a bit happy about this. Even if he was targeted by them, he is looking forward to the day they will attack him. That would be a feast.
As a man(snake) looking forward to the sea of stars, nothing attracts him more than evolution.
He is neither interested in human domination, nor is he interested in world domination. His goals are actually very simple. He just wants to get big enough and leave this planet.
Speaking of which, he has two ways to leave this planet right now, one is to eat a lot and grow to the point where he can leave this planet, but this will take a long time.
The other is to follow these aliens to the place where they came from and leave from there. For example, the previous space channel.
The reason why Fang Yun is interested in going to the aliens' mother planet is due to the large number of giant creatures over there. As long as he goes over there, he won't have to worry about being someone's food at all.
The only thing to worry about is whether he will be someone else food. He isn't sure whether the aliens and kaiju that appeared on the blue planet are the hegemons in their mother planet.
Thinking like this, Fang Yun left the dinosaur island straight away, he isn't planning to act as a nanny for the people in the base, he has already helped them enough.
Perhaps at this time, they are also praying for Fang Yun to leave quickly.
After all, no matter how much he helps him, his huge size and inability to communicate with them makes it hard for them to get along.
After returning to the sea, Fang Yun was a bit troubled. Where should he go right now? After thinking for a while, he decided to go to the 'Panda country'.
No way, that is the place he is most familiar with. Besides, it doesn't really matter where he goes. His goal remains the same.
Along the way, he met many ancient and mutant creatures in the ocean, and as he progressed, he encountered more and more of them. The sea monsters that have disappeared before reappeared in large quantities
Fang Yun was happily feasting along the way, he hasn't eaten so happily in a long time.
"It would be nice if the turtle was still there."
He lamented this way. If the giant turtle was still there, hunting would have been much easier.
Just as Fang Yun was feasting on his way to 'Panda country', humans started panicking because of what happened in Nubra Island.
Ancient and mutant creatures reappeared in the ocean.
Even the kaiju started to reappear, among them are very powerful new kaiju.
"There is no doubt that humanity is facing a new challenge."
In the various media platforms, there are many such headlines, the tension, and fear that have gradually disappeared in the past few years have reappeared on the internet.
Photos of the ancient/mutant creatures, the dragon monsters, and the aliens that appeared on Nubra Island are raging on the Internet, causing people all over the world to panic.
Especially those in coastal areas, they started madly feeling inland.
The maritime trade zone that has just been established has now become a desolate land.
Human society as a whole was greatly disturbed, forcing the government of various countries to take action, deleting the news of various websites, and trying to curb this incident as much as possible.
Unfortunately, this incident isn't so easy to cover.
The ancient/mutant creatures and the kaiju have once again launched an attack on human cities.
The first to get attacked is a coastal city in the 'Bald Eagle' country. It was attacked by a Kaiju beast code-named "Scourge", which looks very similar to the dragon-kaiju Fang Yun fought against in Nubra island.
According to the calculation of the 'Bald Eagle' country, this kaiju is far beyond level 5 kaiju. After intense discussions between the experts, they designed it as a level 6 kaiju.
As for the level 6 kaiju that appeared on Nubra Island, it was code-named "Nightmare".
Comparing their pictures. They found that there are some subtle differences between the two. They are not exactly the same kaiju. However, the dragon-kaiju that appeared on Nubra island was still classified as a level 6 kaiju.
The bald eagle coastal city "Halibut" has experienced a "natural disaster".
The level 6 kaiju "Scourge directly turned it into ruins, then ravaged a dozen nearby cities. Human weapons can hardly affect it.
The EMP emitted by it is extremely powerful, and its coverage is very wide, usually covering more than ten kilometers. Missiles entering this range will be detonated in advance.
Even some new laser weapons weren't able to affect it. Its speed is too fast for that. According to the expert's analysis, its speed can reach up to Mach4.
Even if some weapons aren't affected by its EMP, it can rely on its ridiculous speed and amazing agility to dodge them.
It's difficult for the blue planet humans to deal with this kind of existence.
As for the Kaiju cloned by the 'Bald Eagles', they are useless in front of level 6 kaiju. Firstly, they can't fly. Secondly, the most powerful of them is just level 5, sending them to deal with the dragon-kaiju is just sending food.
However, in the end, the level 6 kaiju "Scourge" was still killed by the bald eagles. They paid a heavy price to kill it, using innumerable missiles and many new weapons, including the lastest generation motherships.
They must conduct corresponding research on this level of Kaiju as soon as possible. Thet must find its weaknesses, then develop countermeasures to deal with it.
They are also trying their best to deconstruct the level 6 genes, then clone it. That would add a terrifying weapon to their arsenal.
........
After the 'Bald Eagle' country was attacked by "scourge", other countries were attacked by similar level kaiju one after the other, causing humans to suffer from heavy losses.
Unumbrable properties were destroyed and many human lives were lost.
However, for the time being, the aliens that appeared on Nubra island didn't attack humans.
There are very few level 6 kaiju. Currently, there are only "Scourge", "nightmare" and the one that attacked Asia, "Doomsday". The rest of the kaiju that attacked other countries are level 3 and 4.
Evel level 5 kaiju are very rare.
Only the 'Bald Eagle' is the most unlucky. Its territory was attacked by two levels 6 kaiju. Although one was repelled by the giant serpent, the other one completely destroyed a city and caused a variety of damages to 13 others.
After more than four years of peace, human beings ushered once again in war.
Fortunately, the current human civilization is not like before. They have developed many weapons and strategies. Different from the past where they could only destroy level 5 kaiju by using nuclear bombs.
With their current weapons and technology, it's not that difficult to destroy level 5 kaiju. The only problem right now is level 6 ones.
Of course, only a few big countries have such strength.
Despite the advancement and the help they received from big countries, Smaller countries from the African continent still ushered in chaos. They are can barely deal with the weaker kaiju. In front of level 4 and 5 ones, they are completely helpless.
The number of kaiju that appeared this time is particularly large. A few days after the reappearance of the ancient and mutant creatures, 17 kaiju landed on South Africa, then started sweeping upwards from there.
Following these kaiju is a ridiculous amount of ancient and mutant creatures.
The number of those spider creatures is the largest, they walked out from the ocean to the land one after the other, their number was so ridiculous that if seen from above, then all that would be seen is a white sea stretching over several kilometers.
The number of those white spiders is easily over a million. and looking from their posture, they are really intending to conquer the entirety of the African continent.
When the humans on the African continent met with the monsters army, they fell into complete despair.
17 kaiju are taking the lead, each one is over 100 meters tall. The most eye-catching ones are the three in front, each one of them is over 200 meters tall, signifying that they are level 5 kaiju.
Behind them is a never-ending army of ancient and mutant creatures. the smallest one is only a few meters long and the biggest one is almost 100 meters long. There are giant crocodiles, giant pythons, giant frogs, giant salamanders, and many many more.
Finally, there is an army composed of millions of giant white spiders, each one is about a few meters wide.
"Oh my God!"
The binoculars held by the commander of the human army fell on the ground, breaking in the process.
"Ha..hahaha, God! is this your punishment for us? How can we fight with this?!"
The army commander laughed hysterically, tears falling from the corner of his eyes. The giant stone wall with a high of 10 meters, stretching over several kilometers is nothing more than a decoration in front of this army.
The 10,000 men army behind him won't last for even a minute in front of this monster army. His face was filled with despair. He didn't even try to escape, he only kept laughing hysterically.
"Hahaha...HAHAHA!!!"
"Ahhh!!! help! Help!"
"I don't want to die!"
A few minutes later the human army collided with the monster army. They didn't last a single minute, the only thing left is the despair-filled cry of humans and the hysterical laughter of the commander.
A minute later... Even that disappeared.
........
contrary to the desperate scene in Africa, in Asian, more specifically 'Panda country', were easily copping with the attack of the kaiju and mutant creatures.
They weren't attacked by the army of monsters like in Africa, only a few kaiju and mutant and ancient creatures, even level 5 kaiju are very rare.
Moreover, the 'Panda country' has a large number of troops stationed in the coastal zone. They didn't spend the past few years in vain. They have built a lot of bases in the coastal area, just preparing for this day.
However, while 'Panda country' higher-ups were focused on their coastal areas, they did not expect that there would be a problem in Shucheng, an inland city.
That night, Shucheng was quite lively, many people are wandering in the streets, couples are slowly walking, snuggling with each other. Hawkers were shouting, advertising their products.
In the midst of this noisy and peaceful city, a white light suddenly appeared in the sky.
At first, no one noticed, until a guy on the street pointed at the white light in the sky and yelled loudly.
"UFO!"
The people in the city looked up at the sky, one after the other, all of them has a shocked look on their faces.
The strange thing is that the white light in the sky still hasn't created confusion in the city. People still didn't know what happened.
The white light slowly approached the ground. It was just after a few seconds that people were able to see what is in the white light. Isn't this the level 6 kaiju that is circulating on the internet?
"Kaiju! It's a kaiju!"
After this sentence spread, the crowd started getting chaotic. Many people fled away in panic
Suddenly, a strange creature jumped off the back of the dragon-kaiju. Glass-black skin, muscular figure, white gem eyes, shark-like teeth. It's the Venom-like alien that Fang Yun met on Nubra island.
After the aliens landed on the ground, they didn't attack the crowd around them. They quickly grabbed a few dozen people that were running around, then jumped back on the back of the dragon-kaiju.
After doing this, the level 6 kaiju fluttered its wings and flew away.
What is going on?
Seeing that the aliens and the kaiju flew away without attacking anyone, the people around were very confused.
The lines were swift and sneaky, so not many people noticed their behaviors. It wasn't until a young woman yelled "My husband" that the people around reacted. They quickly looked around for their companions.
Many people called their companions out loud, and many people got a response, but some people seemed to disappear from this street.
It wasn't just Shucheng, many other cities in 'Panda country', and even other countries had the same accident. The aliens took many humans, then quickly disappeared.
Fang Yun wasn't aware of the great change in the human world. At this moment, he is very near to 'Panda country. Specifically, he has reached the coast of Hualien.
